I love Kobe Japan and the people who own it. They are always so nice and It's one of my favorite places to get something quick to eat. Their shrimp tempura is amazing along with their boba drinks! I really hope they don't leave considering they are one of the only reasons I go to this mall😅

Amazing restaurant of whats left at the sadly dieing mall. Must be family owned due to the same staff everytime I visit. Food is cooked fresh after you order and never disappoints with flavor. Definitely recommend anyone who loves asian food. Pictured is chicken teriyaki double meat with a large drink. Total price came to $13.xx.

After reading another review, I learned this place offers Bourbon Chicken. I was so excited, as I haven't been privy to this in 30 years (last time was in Brown Deer, WI). Unlike that dangerous mall, this one was very safe & clean. There were quite a few "mall walkers" but their route was away from diners. There was significant construction outside, and a single mall roadway that wrapped around the mall (drive all the way to the back).
As for the food, Kobe Japan, and the Bourbon Chicken, it was very good! I ordered extra sauce, which I realized was a mistake, because my styrofoam container was overflowing. Thankfully they offered bags. It comes with white or fried rice, but you can request pan noodles, which is how I remember this dish. They cooked the meat to order, right in front of me, thin bits of chicken, no hearty bites. Comparing this to memory, I thought the original was charcoal grilled, and this was not. So, there's a slight difference in flavor and texture. It was still satisfying and for under $10, it was enough food to feed me for days.

It's the best chicken Teriyaki I have had. It's great with rice, but even better, with the hand made pan Thai noodles. The people who make the food are amazing and friendly, the prices are great. Come on down and have some great Japanese cuisine today.

Wonderful Japanese food. My favorite is the chicken teriyaki with vegatanles and rice. The smells are incredible! They make your food fresh with just a brief waiting period, which is well worth it!

One of my kids ate at China Max and the other ate here. We compared the foods and kobu Japan fared better. We had Terryaki chicken and shrimp and thought the food was decent. The staff was quite pushy and trying to get my children to order many thing. Llike I said the food was decent not really sure if I would order here again
