Slow service, the employee did not appear to be prioritizing well and spent quite a bit of time chatting with one set of customers while we waited to even get water or have a drink order take , and I received the wrong roll (crab instead of eel). Very underrated sushi place. I lived in Japan for three years and filled my belly with a many sushi and sashimi. I would recommend this place to all. They even have "American" oriented rolls and sushi for the less adventurous. My only improvement would be to add other Japanese fare as sushi is only the tip of the iceberg on delicious Japanese food.

Kobe Sushi has been here for a long long time. Those reviews that say it’s a hole in the wall are probably from tourist that are out of town! We want to keep Kobe Sushi that way folks!! Tom and Jenny are fantastic chefs!!

Made me wait in shop for waited 1 hour for my sushi, I was told 30m so I waited 40m then went in. Because it’s usually where I pick up sushi here; went in and sat down an additional 18m. Food is great. Disappointed with the service considering there was only 2 people in the restaurant eating.

The food is incredible but I advise against ordering online. I placed quite a large online order ($200+) at 12:15pm with a recommended pick up time of 1:15pm. My husband ran into grab the order at 1:15pm but had to stand around until 1:45pm! Crazy

My husband and I had a little date and we were looking for places to eat at in the area. Kobe sushi didn't pop up on Google but we noticed it while we were driving past. We are BIG sushi lovers and we make it a thing to try different sushi places.

Let me tell you, I immediately loved the place as soon as I walked in and I could tell right from the start that the food was going to be amazing. If you love shusi I highly recommend stopping here. You will not be disappointed, once you taste the food it will have you doing a happy dance in your seat.

The reviews on this place are completely delusional. Look people, don't leave a "sushi review" if you love deep fried california rolls and cream cheese avocado rolls...that's not sushi! Worst sushi I've ever had. Tasteless to fishy would be the flavor profile. Even their miso soup is really bad. You know if a place cant execute a miso soup then we have a problem. If you've never had sushi then check this place out. If you know quality sushi/sashimi avoid this place like the plague. You've been warned.

My husband and I took a small vacation up to Minocqua and decided we wanted to try something new. We stopped at Kobe Sushi on the strip and we were not disappointed at all.

When you walk in you have to order your food to go. They told us we would be waiting about 15-20 minutes for our food. The only downside is that you can’t eat there, so we ended up sitting outside on a picnic table.

My husband ordered the teppanyaki & sogo roll.
I ordered the Wisconsin roll and Kyoto roll. We were SO happy with what we ordered. It was delicious and we will 100% be coming back. Best sushi I have had yet.

I have consistently found enjoyment and an undying love for the sushi rolls that come from Kobe. These two are the finest sushi roll makers i have ever had the pleasure of encountering in our families life. Always pleasant. Kind. Sweet. I have never once had a negative experience there or with take out ever and I am extremely sad to not be able to enjoy sushi without coming back from 10 hours away to have some sushi that's incomparable with an atmosphere and experience that is the epitome of an Asian/oriental dining experience. There is nothing traditional about this sushi... their spicy mayo is not spicy mayo... its very sweet and not creamy.. its more like a bang bang sauce... the soy sauce tasted like sour water not even close to soy... I love soy and I wouldn't use it... the eel sauce tasted nothing like eel sauce... ill eat grocery store sushi and not complain... ill never eat food from here... only got 2 start and not 1 because presentation was good and the rolls were well built
