Tried for first time, wasn't impressed with breakfast , hollandaise was tasteless more like a water down cheeses sauce, chorizo not like any I've ever had , English muffin even the knife didn't cut it, hash browns were tasteless and too crispy. Omelette , broccoli wasn't cooked and the cheese was just a processed cheese slice laid on top barely melted! Cinnamon rolls were good , Expensive ! 2 people for $40 breakfast!

We recently visited Kozy Nuk to celebrate my son’s birthday, and it was a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious — every single person in our group enjoyed their meal, which is saying a lot since we can be a tough crowd to please! Had a cozy and filling dining experience with my friend for breakfast. We had large portion sizes for a pretty affordable prices. Ever since Jennifer left, this place has gone downhill.

Food quality is bad. Very inconsistent. Get new kitchen staff or tighten it up back there. Today, breakfast burrito was watery, meat was cooked poorly, no seasonings. Didn't finish. The "Cuban" shouldn't be called a Cuban, misleading and gross. Didn't finish.

I dont understand the prices for many of the menu items, 2 tacos for $15. GTFOH.

Got sat in the back of the restaurant, it was hot, uncomfortable, cramped, loud and gave me a headache. Service was terrible. Rushed us to order, then only checked on us once for the whole rest of the time. We had to go on a wild goose hunt to find our waiter, get the bill, then had to wait 10 minutes in the front to pay. Very disorganized. Not to mention the food was very bland, mediocre at best. And worst of all, terribly overpriced. The google review menu photos are NOT up to date. Prices are pretty insane for the small portions and not even good tasting food. Go to Grace coffee or another Cottage grove diner if you're contemplating it. You'll be much better off.

The food and service were great the decor was pretty ugly...think family members from the 70s and 80s, ugliest plates stuck on the walls. That being said, our server was pretty awesome. We were there last Sunday, coming from almost 2 hours away for a swap. It was SO DELICIOUS we have been trying to think of ways to make it back after 10 minutes into our meal!

Kozy Nuk is a RARE GEM that despite being in this post-Covid inflation-destroyed existence, does NOT sacrifice quality/quantity of ingredients, service yet keeps menu prices more than fair.

What a wonderful diner! Delicious food. I had the Southwest Skillet and husband had Irish Skillet. Son had eggs, pancakes and homemade cinnamon roll. We were all pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and taste. Most diners provide the basics and feel it’s enough. This restaurant goes the extra mile with a very diverse menu. It is definitely authentic Mexican for certain items, alongside traditional favorites but with something extra. It is obvious the menu was created by someone who loves food and understands we want more than the basics even at a diner. At this point my fiance and I have had just about everything on the menu. Everything we have had has always been the best version of it. Their biscuits and gravy is out of this world. No service, we were essentially ignored. We walked out at 10:40 AM.

This is a diamond in the rough. It has the small town feel so many places just don’t have anymore but it’s GENUINE. The food is delicious and the portions are more than adequate. Very engaging staff/ownership and their pride in their craft can be tasted in each bite of food. Excellent rapport with all of their regulars and just as friendly to someone walking in the door the first time. I make it a point to stop in for a waffle and some hashbrowns whenever I’m in the area…. And might I just suggest that if you are too full from your meal to get dessert, grab a cinnamon roll to go!

Excellent little hole-in-the-wall restaurant. I went here with a group and it took a few minutes before the staff could put some tables together, but they were very friendly and helpful with that. Our food was great, and they were able to handle some tweaks for some of our eaters with dietary restrictions. The atmosphere of the restaurant is quite cozy. Boy,this is great fish fry,good price,realy fast service,had perch dinner,coleslaw,baked tater,roles,ect.oder was done to pik up 10 mins!! Would highly recommend! Thanks kozy nuk! I'll be back.
