My mom took me and my 11 year old there, i ordered a double california burger, almost no sauce bun was gross, and meat tasted like those nasty frozen ones from store you buy for kids when your in a pinch,,,,, son upgraded fries to cheese curds few dollars more got like 12 in bottom of fry bag, his "ultimate" grillrd cheese was so gross he didnt want to eat it, i tried it the bread tasted like buttery foam, even the pickle tasted funny, we both also felt sick the rest of the day,,, if 3 people cost over $40.00 without extras or dessert they need better quality,,,, you cant charge Culvers prices, and serve food bank quality food, sorry i shouldnt be unfair to food banks,,,, i live in Hartland now, but when visiting my mom, i would never go there again,

First time trying Kraverz and the food was subpar and disappointing. Burger meat and bun are really low quality and it didn't come out very hot. The fries are crinkle and were fresh but undercooked. There's many other places in the area with better custard (I had their flavor of the day, Kit Kat). I wouldn't return.

Ordered a Chicago Dog and Gyro. Didn't know Chicago Dog is served at room temperature and looked like it had been cooked at about noon so it went in garbage. Gyro was good, not going back and after 8 pm they seem to be in closing mode. So best to order custard or other cold item... not something you expect to be hot.

Ordered the gyro combo. Got home no Tzatziki sauce, ketchup packets for the fries or even a napkin. Wasn't asked, nor have I ever had to ask there before for sauce, ketchup or napkins. I guess it one way to save money. If I wasn't so far away I'd drive back and get at least the sauce. Went twice. They got the order wrong both times. I had to waste time getting out of my car to go in and correct the order and both times they refused to make it right. Waste of time on a lunch hour. And good luck asking for condiments. They never put them in the bag. And the machines they have to dispense them only dispense a tiny bit. If they’re so cheap they’re skimping out on condiments where else are they cutting corners?

The food itself is fine but nothing to write home about. And pretty expensive too. The charm of a place like this really rests on service when the food is just mediocre like that. The custard is really good though. The lady running out to deliver the food was friendly and hustling but the man behind the counter and man at the drive through really soured both of my experiences there.

There is nothing “special or unique” about the majority of the food on the Kraverz menu. The burgers are no better than something you could fry-up at your house and are only “passable“ based on generic toppings that one could also get at their own house. Look at the photos of the fries… They’re just standard fries that you could get at your local grocery store with nothing unique about them. And I don’t know where some of the folks who filled out reviews have been dining lately… But the prices at Kravers are not “good” … At best they are “average “. You get a much tastier meal… At a better price… simply by going to Culver’s … at least in terms of anything that is burgers or chicken on the Kravers menu. The dining area is also “generic”… And in many ways is not even as good as the local McDonald’s restaurants in Germantown or Menomonee Falls.

My burger was dripping and swimming in grease. No exaggeration. I asked them to fix it and they changed the paper underneath and handed it back to me. I went to bite the burger and ruined my pants when the grease dripped out the other end. I opened the sandwich and the patty was soaking wet with grease. I went back to the counter to get my burger exchanged for chicken tenders. The tenders came out in 2-3 minutes which I knew was too fast so as expected they were gummy and soft. The employees, who were eating in the kitchen, talked trash about having to remake my food loud enough for me to hear. I won't ever be back and will not recommend to anyone. Had high hopes for this place. We just moved to this state and don't know much around here. I don't remember what burger I got but it had very under done bacon and the burger had no flavor at all. The best part was the onion ring in the center. The other thing that sucked was the gal that took our order was new, slow, and unsure of herself, and there was a young man maybe 19-20 years old in a gray hoodi that just laid there on a pile of bags. His only function there was to run the food. As I waited for a couple packets of mustard I just stood there and watched him do absolutely nothing to help anyone or do anything else. That is why it's a two star rating!

I ordered the Gyro sandwich. It was the Worst Gyro I have ever seen, and had. They advertise it's shaved off the spit, B.S....Its processed meat. No lamb, or real beef flavor. I've never seen a Gyro with the pita touching when it's folded. But maybe that's a good thing with the horrible taste of what they call gyro meat. I went through the drive through for a quick dinner after seeing good reviews and photos that looked like decent smash burger style burgers. Sadly, the burger I received, while passable, was obviously made with pre-formed frozen patties. The bun sort of flaked apart on me too.

The worst part was the cheese curds, which were soggy in the bag. Hot and melty yes, but they should not be soggy. Very disappointing. I won't be returning.

I've seen this restaurant for years but I finally went in with my granddaughters. They towted a big menu including daily themed Custard & milkshakes. We were excited to try the food, especially after our visit to B52 on Appleton. This was better than that but does not come close to Pop's Custard on Appleton in the Falls! The young person taking our order was very nice (we think he was new), but the man doling out the food orders was not friendly. The food was mediocre, the atmosphere was ok.

I've been here four times in the past two months. I like the food, especially the hot dogs and the Italian beef. The staff though... that's another matter. I haven't seen a single smile from any of the people that work there, including the guys I presume to be the managers/ owners. My last visit I was standing several feet away from the counter and looking at the menu board, deciding what to order. There was young guy standing at the register to my right. There was a man (which I think might be one of the owners or at least a manager) standing behind a register on the left. I approached the man on the left and without a smile or a "Hello", he just pointed at the young guy and said something like "He'll help ya". The man wasn't busy with anything. He was just standing there. Why, if he didn't want to take my order, was he standing behind a register, doing nothing?

Honestly, even though I like the food, I don't know if I'll want to return to such an unfriendly place.

This place has proven itself to be worthy of 5 starts all around. Friendly staff and the best fresh made burgers in a 10 mile radius.
