This was our second visit to Kristi's, and we had another positive experience. There were plenty of tables available, the service was quick and friendly, and the food was fantastic. We started with the cheese curds, which I feel is necessary when visiting Wisconsin. They were crisp and hot, very tasty. The included sauce had a bacon-like flavor. They have a good variety of wine and craft beers. I enjoyed the lobster & crab bisque, honestly some of the best I've ever had. I ordered their featured appetizer (fried lobster tail) for my meal, and I would absolutely do it again. The tail was cut into bite size pieces, then breaded & fried perfectly. It was served with melted butter, which made it even more amazing. This place will be closing permanently this summer, so do yourself a favor and check it out while you can. I hope they will reopen somewhere some day.

Overall a good experience, took a long time to get food which was okay. Very limited non alcoholic drink choices. My only reasoning for a 4 star versus a 5 is because there was no bread when we came in. The waitress said it was made to order, however, being a Saturday night you’d think it’ll get pretty busy and you’d make some to have ready quickly. We were both extremely hungry so the 15-20 minute wait for bread was really a negative. They also only give 2 rolls and they weren’t great either. However our entrees were amazing, first time I have ever ate my entire plate in a restaurant. I also appreciated the ramp outside.

When we walked in at 5 on a Saturday there was no one in the restaurant and we didn't have a reservation and the servers said we needed one but said they would squeeze us in, but made us feel like we were intruding. We were there for over an hour and no-one showed to the supposed reserved tables? The interior was quaint with stained glass windows, pocket doors, and comfy chairs. Food was just okay ordered pork loin and potatoes. The loin was dry and the potatoes mushy with not a lot of flavor. Watermelon margarita was too sweet (pre-mix?).

Tried to eat at kristis but had to leave. We had our well behaved havanese with us, we're told we had to eat on patio, that's fine, however, the very rude manager would not let us open sun umbrellas because of wind. 80degrees, sunny. We couldn't eat on outdoor porch...no dogs on their outdoor carpeting. Eat in the sun or go somewhere else. 🤔 we left and will never return with or without our dog. Rude is just bad business.

Overall, it was a Great Dining Experience! This was my first time dining at Kristi's for many years, and it did not disappoint. The Martini to start with was extra dirty as ordered and was perfect! Kristi is the bartender and made us sangria from scratch, it was the best, thank you Kristi, she was so friendly and great company while we waited for our table.Jennifer and i had beef tenderloin with gorgonzola cheese, diana had the beef, no cheese, parmesan potatoes and scrumptious seasoned vegetables..Mary was our server and such a delight. Mary "forced" us to get dessert, haha, jk, it didn't take much convincing. We shared chocolate mousse cake and strawberry cheesecake, but Diana and Jennifer wouldn't let me lick the plates. We were celebrating friendship and 3 breast cancer survivors! Wonderful experience.

Not to handicapped accessable, there are many stairs to climb to get into the place, and only offers off street parking. But the food and staff are excellent. Had lunch with my wife and some friends in New Glarus at Kristi's. It was lunch but we wanted Wiener Schnitzel. They normally only do that at lunch but they made it for three of us anyway. We picked up an awesome lunch for our family to take home and enjoy on the patio with the nice weather. Wow, everything was so amazing, fresh, crispy and delicious. Our kids had fun ordering something unique, as they have something for everyone. My husband and I enjoyed the steak burrito and chicken flautas, the kids really raved about the Kristi's burger and the chicken cheese quesadillas.
