Stopped for lunch today. I was so happy to see how clean this place is and nicely decorated...not over the top. Servers in white shirts and black pants. A very nice bar is also inside. They even have a breakfast menu. The food is excellent. Will definitely go back. Easy on easy off the interstate. The shredded beef chimichunga was outstanding.

Great place! 😋 I ordered a dish with fish, vegetables, and mashed potatoes — I don’t remember the exact name, but everything was absolutely delicious. The fish was perfectly cooked — juicy with a nice sear. The veggies were fresh and tasty, and the mashed potatoes were smooth and flavorful. 🐟🥦🥔 Big and satisfying portion. It’s far better Mexican food than one can expect at a rural truck stop. I’ve been here twice, had chorizo and eggs with a bit of jalapeños and some carne asada for dinner, also tried a beef enchilada. Everything besides the enchilada was delicious and plenty “authentic.” I suspect not everything on the menu is great, you won’t go wrong with the chorizo and eggs or carne asada dinner. So I suppose to the naysayers, I say keep it simple, this place is a gem to truck drivers especially off the beaten path. Service is always friendly and attentive.

I had enchilada taco and chili relano and asked for whole beans instead of frijoles and they actually had them the food was great and I ate way too much the portions are huge they have a bar as well. I went in again for breakfast and had steak and eggs, which was amazing. It was at least three scrambled eggs they’re home. Fried potatoes were some of the best I’ve ever had. Not sure what they season them with but they had green peppers and onions as well. Big chunks of potatoes. I couldn’t eat it all.

Food was ok. They did forget the shrimp in my combo fajitas. And only 3 corn tortillas. It takes 2 tortillas for one corn taco. Salsa was liquid, not chunky. And more bell pepper and onion than meat. Not the Mexican food I'm use to being from TX. Dos XX chilada was decent (without Mexican candy on raw pasta noodle) nice selection of alcohol. Tequila, especially. I'm an 1800 silver when I do drink it. Corazon silver was very smooth. Was there for a couple hrs. Throat did run dry a few times, but all of staff was friendly. Nice outdoor patio area. Music could've been louder outside. Was like a faint whisper, but I didn't ask to turn it up, either. Very family friendly place. Overall, 6.5/10 for me Personally.. 7/10 for Mexican joint in Wisconsin. Would definitely try again. Maybe on a Fri/Sat

Absolutely DELICIOUS Mexican cuisine! Very convenient if you are staying at the Best Western right behind it! I have never had a burrito with REAL crab meat and NOT IMITATION crab! So so good! Better Mexican food than my hometown in Iowa! We would definitely come back ! The servers were all so friendly and attentive! The prices were great too! $13 for a HUGE seafood burrito is almost unheard of anymore!

We are not rating the service, since this was a door dash order.
The burger was over-seasoned and over cooked. I had to cook something else for my son (my husband and I tasted it... my son was not being picky.. the burger was not edible). The fries were ok. Love when we're able to get out of the truck. Found this restaurant off the interstate, and it was semi truck friendly. My husband and I share all our meals, and we'd been having a nacho craving. Best American Mexican nachos in a long time. They used real cheese, and the ground beef was tasty. Definitely would eat there again if ever in Wisconsin again.

I’m extremely sad we didn’t discover this place sooner. My hair dresser recommended it as we are moving and staying at the best western right beside it. The drinks were great and as a Texas native with high expectations for Mexican food, we enjoyed the food as well. We got a combination plate. It was huge. Great green sauce on my enchilada. The salsa was mild but enjoyable for my kids as well. We’ll be returning back before we leave. The service was fast and great as well too.

First of all the food was very good. I had the #13 enchilada meal with rice and beans. Very tasty and served hot. The waiter was confusing when he said I could have either the red, green or white sauce as a topping. However, reading the menu it sounded like it came with all three toppings as in the color of the Mexican flag. Presentation was just ok but the taste was very good none the less.

Their food was pretty bland. One of the servers started grabbing tableware off of our table to use elsewhere, while we were still eating and using the tableware! We had a larger group (7 people) and were told very clearly and articulately that the check would just be split at the register. Then, when we got to the register, the same person suddenly could understand English well enough to split the bill. It seemed very suspect. If you run across this place... Keep on running.

The steak is great. Shrimp was tasty. The House margarita(on the rocks) was the best I've had & I don't know why. It was strong which is always good but also tasted... Fresh?
