Upon entering the establishment there are at least 4-5 signs noting that you will be charged extra if you use a credit card. No issue with that but you’d think they would be prepared to give you change when using cash. I’ve had issues every time I’ve paid with cash including waiting a very long time and the last time it was them trying to short change me. How hard can it be to have some change in the register?

I tried take out from La Cabana about 3 years ago and found it to be extremely dry and lacking flavor. Since it’s right down the street and has so many great reviews I thought I’d give it another chance but dine in this time. The waitress clearly didn’t want to be there and kept looking elsewhere while we were talking to her. I think she came back one time to check on us. She did not smile and was not welcoming. The food was decent as far as flavor but their portion sizes are terrible!! I’ve never been to a Mexican restaurant where I felt I wasn’t given enough food. And I’m not a big eater! The kids meal was a joke with one very small taco and a small helping of beans and rice. Not even enough for my 2 year old! My fajitas had great flavor but again extremely small portion and only 4 tiny taco shells. Never had a bad experience with a Mexican restaurant until trying this place.

This is one of our new little family favorites. There is something for everyone. We love going Friday night and some of us get the fish fry. We have picky eaters who get chicken tenders or a cheeseburger and then our other kiddos who want their tacos. And of course the salsa and chips before to keep them happy. We have 5 kids so keeping everyone happy is hard but this place is amazing.

The food was good! I ordered some queso dip and chimichangas while my fiancé ordered some tortilla soup and flour tortilla chicken tacos. The food was cooked excellently however each item felt to just be missing one thing to make it perfect.

The queso dip is well worth ordering, it’s very large about 4x the amount of salsa and easily got us through 2 baskets of chips. The chimichangas felt as though they needed the cheese/queso on top or some type of sauce/cheese on top, which is why the large amount of queso came in handy.The tortilla soup was creamy and good, but just didn’t hit the right taste for us all together. The tacos, were tacos, it didn’t have anything too special to set it apart. That said it was all very well priced and I am full and happy.

This would be an ideal restaurant if you’re in the area and want Mexican food.

Food was ALL PREMAID , bathroom was disgusting, When did anyone clean it mirror splattered , toilet bowel yellow with toilet paper STILL IN IT, I ordered a Margagreta ( prepaid) had extra foulities in it & glass very sticky, a hot sauce was STILL OPENED & VERY CRUSTY ON TOP. FOOD, NOT QUALITY. I had the steak & shrimp fejeta.. shrimp was rubbery.. Not the best for $ 20.99 ...in my book .

Albaro, the owner, was very kind when we were trying to explain an appetizer dish that we used to get over here when we went out. He knew what we were talking about and had the cook make it for us and it was superb.

My party and I were told it would be a 10-20 minute wait and I gave them my name to be on the list. Waited 10 mins and came back inside to wait the rest of the time. Another party comes in after me and gives them there name and is told 10-20 mins. Fast forward 2 minutes, the party that came in after us were seated when a table opened. I'm not sure whether they just had a mad rush come in or if they got a new order entry system but it was bad. It was 15 minutes to get waters with chips and salsa. It was more than 25 minutes to order. All told, we spent 1.5 hours there. My food was cold but I was not about to send it back or even complain. Since we were from out of town, it is not likely we'll be back.

What an amazing experience we had with Tony and his restaurant. We had him cater our small birthday celebration. He brought everything, set everything up and was so incredibly helpful and courteous. To top it off, the food was delicious and plentiful. We are so grateful for his great food and service, which allowed us to focus on enjoying our company, rather than worry about preparing food and setting everything up. Coworkers and I go there frequently for lunch. Usually the same man is behind the bar, and he is terrific. The Margaritas on the rocks were great. I’m not a huge fan of Mexican food. It’s fine, I just like a burger for lunch sometimes. The burger was excellent. Meat was good. No chewy bits. Might be a perfect choice for the kiddos. Cheeseburger with lettuce and tomatoes…exactly what I wanted for lunch. There was very little left for a snack later, it was so good. If you want fries with it, that’s an option. I preferred the beans and rice.

This was my first time there. It's in a small strip mall and i wasn't expecting much as far as atmosphere, but its clean and surprisingly warm and cozy with nice decor. Bartender was friendly and sevice was great. I ordered the La Cabana Alambre and it was delicious. Probably one of the best, if not the best Mexican meals I've ever had. I will definitely be back!

I ordered the Chicken fajitas for take out this week and got horrible food poisoning. I’m just now starting to feel somewhat alive and able to drink normal fluids after 5 days and an Emergency Room visit. It was the worst case of food poisoning I’ve personally ever had the misfortune of experiencing. When I came to pick up my food and took it back to my car, I noticed that they forgot a part of my order so I had to go in a second time to be able to get my full order. For $76 including tip, i won’t be coming back to pay to put my body through that ever again.

Was excited to try this place as my friends love it. I was a little disappointed.

The chips and salsa was great, two salsas, one mild, one hot, both good. The margaritas were good, a little too sweet for me.

I ordered combo #1 to get a variety of their food. The taco was good but nothing special, the enchilada I didn't like, the chimichanga was very good. The beans had good flavor, the rice was a bit dry and not much flavor.

I will try this place again and order a regular meal rather than a combo.

We decided to try the Friday fish fry, and It was mediocre at best. It was $14.99 The FISH is all you can eat, but the sides fries or potato pancakes or rice and beans are not... The batter on the fish was not crispy, like it had been sitting under a light... It was loud and the waitress never checked if we needed more items. We could have used more water, tartar sauce (it seemed like mayo really), and butter. There was no salt on the table, so we grabbed it from a vacant table. Overall, I would not recommend it for the Fish Fry, but all of the Mexican cuisine looked delicious!
