This was our first time here. We were greeted with a friendly smile and seated immediately. Chips and salsa were delivered to the table. Ordered a half pitcher of original margaritas on the rocks with the guacamole. Delicious! I ordered the steak tacos and a side of beans and also the mole sauce. Absolutely amazing! Husband ordered the enchiladas which were very tasty. Definitely a neighborhood gem. Our waitress was very attentive. We will return!

The staff here is incredibly kind. They recommended one of their margaritas and the chicken enchiladas with mole, both of which were delicious. The salsa they provided was very good. My only critique is that the chips weren't fresh and tasted slightly stale. Overall, it was a very satisfying experience, and I look forward to returning someday.

Nice no frills Mexican restaurant with friendly service and great Mexican food! The pricing was super affordable and the quality of the food made it even better. This place was fairly busy for a Thursday afternoon so that’s a good sign too. Service was prompt and friendly. The ladies here are quite attentive and offered great menu suggestions. Came for the Mole Sauce and it did NOT disappoint so I’m glad I made that choice. Chips and salsa were flavorful and delicious too!

They denied service to myself and my service animal. They claimed that they couldn’t accommodate us as they didn’t have “windows that can open.” I explained that it was a violation of my rights to deny entry. My dog is fully certified, trained, and has done extensive work in restaurants assisting me. They denied us entry, and I have filed a DoJ complaint. Please be wary if you are disabled and have a service animal they will not permit entry.

Menu says Torta for $14 but doesn't say what kind of meat. Im assuming I get to choose. So I asked for asada. She clarified that there is an upcharge for that. I asked how much and she replied $4. Took some friends, and while we mostly enjoyed the food, they said the same thing we've been saying for awhile - why is everything so wet? Simple ground beef tacos shouldn't soak through the tortilla.

Food is still decent, and a good value, but whatever you do, STAY AWAY FROM THE BURRITO - twice now, I've ordered this entrée, both times, asking for them to either cook it longer, or do something so it's not so watery. Both times, the burrito disintegrated in my hands (what's left, looks like human vomit)

I’m not going to lie, this is the worst Mexican food I have ever had. The rice was mushy, the beans were just not good, and the chicken had no flavor. I’m super simple from my order, clearly, all I got was two chicken tacos with just cheese which I don’t think you can mess up and I could only finish one. It was just not a good experience.

I was stunned by the prices, they’re very high compared to other local Mexican establishments. $12 for half a cup of guac seemed criminal.

I want to give this place a better review, food was great, service was great, clean, good salsa, guacamole, and margs. Chicken mole was excellent, I got the chimichanga pastor. The problem is I got charged 25.00$ for the pastor, on their menu it stated 15.00, the staff didn’t explain there was an up charge for pastor. Kinda disappointed in that kind of business. Having better clarification on the menu would help.

The BEST vegetable taco I’ve ever had. The beans were delicious, the salsas and chips(still slightly warm) were fantastic.

The atmosphere is cozy, bordering on crowded, but it was quiet enough that you could still talk to people at your table without raising your voice.

It was super busy while we were there, but service was still relatively fast. We got our food in under 20 minutes.

This is a very nice place for some great mole. OMG!!! Their mole is like Mexican chocolate sauce on a juicy chicken breast. I mean OMG for real. The beans and rice are good as well. We also had their chimichangas which were very large and tasty. The service was fine. To me . . . Their chips taste like really authentic tortilla chips like in Cancun. Their salsa was okay. In my opinion, it didn’t seem very flavorful. Oh well . . . Maybe I caught it in a “not so good” day. We had a wonderful lunch, and I will be going back for some more of that yummy mole.

If you’re in Milwaukee… GO HERE. They bring you 3 salsas upon arrival. One mild, one medium, one spicy. So everyone is happy. Next, order a margarita pitcher, they’ll serve it ice on the side (see picture) so you’ll definitely get your moneys worth. And the food is clean, hot, and well prepared. I ate dinner here with a group of friends. We sampled several different dishes. Every dish was well prepared and tasty. The guac was very robust and left me wanting more. They did not have frozen margaritas. However, their strawberry margaritas did not disappoint. The shrimp tacos and chicken chimichanga are a must.

The service was swift and friendly. They were very attentive. Top marks.

The venue had an authentic ambiance with about a dozen tables. It is well kept and clean.

My buddy and I had a good Mexican dinner at La Casa De Alberto, a popular neighborhood restaurant. A mixed crowd of Gringos and Mexicanos were enjoying themselves, and Casa de Alberto is never empty. Petra took good care of us, as I inundated her with too many questions.

The kitchen at La Casa produces the typical Mexican food but at a high level. There are no surprises, but everything tastes good and seems fresh. The space is clean, comfortable, and the crowd was enjoying a Mexican soccer match on the TV, adding an authentic touch to our experience. There is a large bar that’s often difficult to find a seat. La Casa De Alberto is a good restaurant when you crave the familiar.

My husband ordered shrimp. There was about 7 shrimps. I did not eat my fajitas because they were under cooked. Good scraps for the dog if the food wasn't salty. I did try my husband's shrimp and the shrimp was way to salty. The waitress seen I wasn't eating and did not even stop over to question if the food was ok. I will never go here again. When this place first opened they were a clear competitor of Conejitos. In fact Im pretty sure some of the cooks and waitstaff are the same. Casa de Alberto is a must on anybody’s taco trail! We indulged in a variety including shrimp, pastor, and pollo.
