We are visiting from the Northeast and the pizza cruise was recommended to us.

The cruise itself was great, staff was fantastic, and the company was great to work with.

I think I would prefer going on one of their regular sightseeing cruises. The pizza cruise wasn't really worth it being domino's pizza. Is there no local pizzeria that you could support?

The only big issue we had were the way children were running rampant. It was near impossible to safely access stairs because kids were all over the place. There were no staff telling adults to monitor their kids, parents weren't monitoring their kids. It was a bit of a safety concern.

Over all, we did enjoy seeing the Mississippi and the boat itself.

Chose the 3 hour sightseeing tour because they were supposed to go through the Locke and dam 7. Ended up cruising industrial areas only going by same places multiple times. Drawbridge didn't open to let us through AND Locke #7 was closed for repairs. We bought our tickets right before departure and wouldn't have gone had we known Locke was not included. Pretty boring excursion to be honest... We were very disappointed 😞

This was the third time on the LaCrosse Queen, and lots of things have changed since 2 years ago. First, there is no more live music. Second, there are now assigned seats, which I was not made aware of, and would have never booked the cruise if I knew I had to be in the middle of 50 people. I always stay to the edges of groups because of autoimmune disease. Next, some of the Staff is highly impersonable, rude and monotone, very different from previous experiences. We were given a dead pan speech about how to line up for dinner. No smiles, no friendliness, no hi how are yous from the Staff, not one. Very rude. Then that a staff moved on to give the same dead pan monotone speech to each table. It was a very different experience from years prior, where it was more free, more fun and the Staff were more pleasant. The chairs on the deck of the boat are incredibly uncomfortable with no padding, I was not able to sit up there at all. Super tough as a disabled person, I'm either sitting on top of someone crowded inside, or in pain sitting on tiny uncomfortable chairs outside. Too many people booked for one ride. Overall so disappointing compared to previous years.

Could have been a wonderful experience, we booked a 11:30 tour, and we got called and asked if we could change our time, because there was a group that changed their time and they couldn’t take the boat out for just 4 people, honestly we would have just cancelled but we didn’t want someone else to not to be able to enjoy going on the cruise so we decided it was fine to change the time, throwing off our plans for the day, figured it was a good experience for our 4 year old, well when we arrived there was school busses with field trippers, we didn’t get to hear a word the captain said, get too see anything that he was pointing out, it was loud and honestly a very miserable time, not sure why we had to change our time when a whole class of kids was going to be on the cruise, my son could have had a great time and learned something. Instead we could have just gone to a local community center and had the same experience

It was a beautiful day for a cruise on the Mississippi. As we began they announced a power outage wouldn't let us go under a bridge to MN, so we didn't get a full tour. Power was restored during our cruise but we headed to the dock. I think if they had reversed the trip, we probably could have done the full cruise.

Sat on the top deck towards the rear. Paid for sightseeing tour. The main sights we saw was a larger woman rudely sitting in front of our view on top of the life preserver bin. The boat tour does not require anyone to be in seats and let's them walk around and stand anywhere. If you sit in an actual chair you can't see anything because of all the people standing. The group of women in the back was talking so loudly the whole time we could not understand what the captain/guide was saying. Need to have some better rules for people so everyone can get the experience they paid for.

I called to get our reservation moved to the next trip, due to chances of severe weather from 4-8. We live far from LA crosse and wanted to make sure our trip wouldnt get cancled whal we were on our way into town.
After calling at 11am reservationist was rude and pompous, stateing they knew how to moniter the weather and the boat will cruse rain or shine. (Even through thunderstorms apparently)
This is a unsafe, and unprepared approach. This hilights disorganization and lack of respect to the customers spending 100s of dollars to support a local heritage.
Not a good look for the queen, when a simple reschedule is available.

Went here with a tour group. This Approx 2hr Boat ride was pretty well full with passengers. Captain and mate gave us a well discripted tour. Beautiful fall scenery, even saw some eagles.
There's a small gift shop to walk thru to get to the boat. And also a small concession stand on the boat for snacks and a drink. Very nice ride. I would definitely consider doing it again.

This little boat allows the rudest people on board. The staff and passengers are all entitled and the caucacity that comes out of their mouth that i’ve witnessed when food is delivered to the lax queen is ridiculous. I’m appalled to hear the people on the boat bad mouthing and laughing at delivery workers due to simply just doing their jobs. This lake is also notorious for being haunted and it smells extremely bad. The cruise itself was a terrible ride and the captain did not seem to watch for bumpy waters and it was not a smooth sailing ride. I would never go on again and I HIGHLY do not recommend. The photos are out dated and the actual boat is disgusting.

In town for a few days looking for something to do. Very nice tour but I'd stick with the sightseeing tour. The concessions were a $10 minimum. The brunch even though we didn't eat it, looked like a pass. The top is by far going to provide the best views. Make sure you pay attention to the weather. Even in warm weather it can bee cool up top with a breeze. Saw lots of turtles and Eagles. Learned a lot from the tour. Its worth doing.

We arrived on a brisk autumn morning for the site seeing cruise. The enclosed bottom tier was welcoming, though we maneuvered around the vessel as temps warmed. The microphone’d guide up top gave all sorts of interesting facts about the river area at Lacrosse - audible everywhere on the boat. A bar was also nice to have a drink on the water; ($10 minimum for credit card purchases). The ride was very smooth surrounded by beautiful scenery. We plan on returning to Lacrosse and scheduling either dinner or lunch; the trip was totally enjoyable.

We went on a dinner cruise, our waiter was terrible, he asked us to carry our drinks upstairs... They had this nerve-wracking bad singer, singing the entire time; he was so bad it made us all edgy. The best time on the boat was when he didn't sing. The boat was very overcrowded! It was not comfortable! They don't need to pack people in like sardines for the price they charge. They said they had a dress code online, but this was a hillbilly boat ride. Honestly, I wouldn't waste $50 per person on this trip. The ride was long and torturous! Also, the bar is out of EVERYTHING to make drinks! They also make drinks with half of a shot, so good luck.

Beautiful evening. Pizza was pizza (domino's), soda was ice cold and it wasn't overcrowded at all though you will need to be able to tolerate other people's children running around. This group wasn't too bad.

A nice 90 minute cruise and the ship pilot gives nice history of the area and the Missippippi River. It was rainy but the top deck is covered so that helped keep us dry.

This was a very enjoyable and informative 1.5 hour cruise on the Mississippi river. For only $17.95 per adult, it was a great way to get out on the river and learn some of the local history.

Unfortunately, they ran out of pizza early. It wasn't even half full. The ride was very nice up and down the river.
