This is a lovely place in downtown Lake Geneva and they’re cooking. Always reminds me of home.
One day when I was walking off of work, I dropped my coffee glass, and it shattered all across the sidewalk outside. Embarrassed, I went inside to ask for a broom so I could clean it up. Everyone inside was so helpful and so kind and helped me clean up the mess no problem! Not only can this restaurant serve you amazing, delicious food, but they will be kind and sweet while they do it! I highly recommend checking out there all day, breakfast and amazing environment while on your vacation!!

Funny story We were looking for a place to eat fish all day A girl was sitting and eating fish I’m like I wonder where she got it so I asked her and she told me this place and then she said I work there. We were disappointed by our breakfast. The cream cheese french toast was not good. It was undercooked in the middle and had a weird grey colored something between both pieces of bread which we couldn't tell if it was egg or bread. We also ordered a side of corned beef hash which looked and tasted like it came out of a can. Also frustrating was that we waited 40 minutes for the food despite the restaurant being half empty. The only reason for the two (instead of only one) stars is the pancakes. These were tasty and had a generous portion of the fruit that we added.

We were in town for 2 days and the service was welcoming & accommodating.
The food was delicious, one of the better breakfasts we’ve had out. (We travel a lot)
The atmosphere is warm and cozy.
It’s a no frills eatery, which worked for us. We were walking downtown for shopping and decided to try it as we walked past it.
If you are looking for a fancy place where your food is organic, beautifully presented and a high price tags, it’s not the place for you.
If you want prompt friendly service and a good home cooked breakfast, this is the place.

Visiting Lake Geneva and Winterfest, stopped in for breakfast. Restaurant was half full of patrons. I got a table right away. I did not wait long for a waitress, maybe a couple of minutes. Drink ordered without salt had salt on it and was not correct drink. Nachos ordered with no black olives came out with the black olives. Never asked chicken or pork which on menu is to be included. Also when asked about the sour cream and salsa server said if you asked for it. According to menu it is included. I will never step foot in there after that service. When called out on this to say you should have been nicer to your server but she was the one with the attitude.

Nice basic restaurant with both indoor and outdoor tables. We ate inside as it was quieter. We were a group of six adults.
There was a nice selection of soup, salad and sandwiches plus many other items. We all liked our generous selections and I took half of my gyros on pita home with me. The lamb strips were nice and thick 1 inch wide and about 4 inch long.
This place has both booths and tables inside.
The bathrooms were clean but the coils use some work on the size and updated.

My wife and I are new in town and was taken away how beautiful Lake Geneva, Wi was our 1st time here and Lake Aire was a great fill. The staff Jeff & Zach accommodated to my needs even my odd request....
- I am a Big Steak 🥩 guy and I asked if I can see the cut before they cooked. I'd pay for it dissatisfied but I'd like to enjoy it. No hesitation, they helped show the vacuum seal selections of New York strip or Ribeye.
--both great cuts, went with NY select with crunchy fries and broccoli.

Steak Cooked a Perfect Medium, pink in the center 😉 with a good mix drink, Spicy Bloody Mary. Olives, meat and cheese, pickles.

I've eaten here several times, but this time was unusual. We sat in the back portion where the wait staff stands and sits. The wait staff argued amongst themselves, but it was loud enough for us to hear. A couple of them talked about being sick. One of the staff, who wasn't our waitress, stopped to talk with us twice. We don't need to know about your son and mother. Our waitress was ok. She never came back to see if everything was ok, and never asked us if we wanted refills. I'm disappointed because I liked this place.

This place was so good. The price point is great for the area too. I got the Mediterranean omelette and the gyro omelette. I substituted toast for pancakes which was the best decision I’ve made all day. The pancake has a crispy edge on one side and soft fluffy pancake throughout. I wished this review had the option to choose no stars!!! I give this place 0 stars. the food wasn’t bad, but the experience was horrible. The cashier and waiters are thieves and racist. I can’t even begin to explain our experience here but just know I would never ever step foot in that establishment again and if you are black I wouldn’t recommend you to go either. The server was awesome, the atmosphere appeared to be old and broken down. Lots of small flying bugs (fruit flies) look at the pictures, they are all over the wood overhead. Bugs = Unclean.
My omelet was overcooked and my Daughter wouldn't eat her skillet because the mushrooms were snotty (her words) and the bugs made her lose her appetite.
I should have looked up the reviews before going there. What was supposed to be a nice experience with my Daughter was not so nice. I won't be back.

my family and I ate here today. we are not regulars, as we are no local
to lake geneva.....to be fair. The food was good, but we had to wait an hour for our food. They appear to be very short staffed. The server that we had, I do not put her at fault at all, but there did appear to be a big staffing issue. However, I did not see a manager come by nor did there appear to be an owner there either, and there should be one or both of those filling in where needed if they are short servers, or hosts or cooks. I felt as though they were leaving the servers to be thrown under the bus in a situation that they're not responsible for. And if that was my daughter working there, I wouldn't be very happy that somebody in a manager or owner role wasn't stepping up to take responsibility or at least come in to help
pick up the slack while in the process of hiring.

The vibe of the place is great the staff is great and accommodating.
The biscuits and gravey are homemade the gravy has a nice base, I'm not a fan of the andouille sausage in it. The biscuits were nice and fluffy, overall not too bad.

However I was incredibly disappointed with the breakfast burrito when I think breakfast burrito I think crammed with egg cheese meat and everything else! This was loaded tater rounds and very little egg or meat, highly disappointed for a $15 burrito!

We're sad that we stopped here. They were open on a very busy August Thursday at 2:00 pm in downtown Lake Geneva. We were allowed to choose our seat and were cheerfully greeted by our server. Our experience went downhill from there. My wife ordered a Reuben sandwich with onion rings. I have a shellfish allergy so I asked the server if shellfish was served at this restaurant, she replied "No." So, I ordered a Cuban sandwich with fries along with a diet coke; no ice. Shortly after ordering she returned to tell me that the restaurant serves shrimp fried in the same oil as the fries. She didn't realize that shrimp were shellfish! Her exact words! Would I still want the fries? I opted for mashed potatoes and gravy. But wait, they don't have gravy....but she can offer butter. Okay. The meals arrive. No Diet Coke. The mash potatoes are cold. 3/4 of the way through the meal she returns to check on us. When informed about not getting a drink she argues that I didn't order it. She ignores my comment about the cold mashed potatoes. Meanwhile, the sandwiches are the highlight of the meal! She did bring my drink, bill, and boxes for leftovers There's a surprise $4.00 upcharge for the onion rings. When asked by the cashier about our experience, she too ignores our comment about the cold mashed potatoes and simply says "The upcharge is clearly printed on the menu." CLEARLY, there's no concern for customer satisfaction at this restaurant.

Save your money and do not come to this restaurant for a party of six they add on 30 pre tip which I never heard of for a diner it was not a fine dining steakhouse. Breakfast sausage was raw. The burger was a meatball that fell apart. The service was horrible. We had Natalie as our waitress. Oh, I don’t mind paying for you don’t mind paying for food and good service, but this is a joke in nightmare experience for six people to have breakfast and a fly infested environments what a horrible waitress and horrible food was not worth $179 save your money and your time people are rude they make up their own rules are better off going to IHOP or McDonald’s and stay away from Natalie. She is a very rude waitress with a bad attitude. Had to wait in line over an hour and then in the restaurant for another hour to get our food. What a waste of time and money and a good name of a restaurant and a really nice town

Waited. Over a half hour to get seated because a party of 7 were in front of us. We were told they couldn't seat out of order because they came before us, even though there 5 open booths that could seat 4. And we weren't the only ones.

The restaurant should be deep cleaned. Walls of booths had not been cleaned in a long time. Server and host were polite and professional. Food was average diner breakfast. One order was incorrect.

I ordered a southwest salad. The romaine was not fresh with brown edges. Read the description before ordering. Southwest salad usually includes corn and black beans. This salad only had lettuce, onion, black olives, some tomatoes and cheese. The salad was tasty but extremely overpriced. If you’re looking for a good southwest salad go to Surf Smokehouse. They have a Southwest Cobb salad which added chicken, avocado, bacon and egg for the same price.

An old style café we encountered in downtown Lake Geneva. We split the Cubano with fries, and I had a cup of tomato bisque soup. The soup was served first; it was hot & delicious. I ordered the Sprecher Fire Brewed root beer, another keeper. The Cubano was stacked with pork & ham, pickles, cheese and a Dijon sauce, on panini style bread. The service was excellent and I paid the tab by credit card.
And of course, they have pie and cake by the slice but we were too full.

Think we waited all together 40 min for our food and it wasn’t even crowded. The waitress was actually rude about it too. She also didn’t give any explanation or apologies. The food was not worth the wait and was over priced

Definitely a nice little spot in the heart of downtown Lake Geneva. Typical diner food, with an old school vibe and retro atmosphere. Place was clean. Waitress was good, but not great. Food was really good. I had the California wrap, and my wife had the French toast. Give this place a try if you are in the area. Oh and the prices are reasonable. Thumbs up. 👍🏻
