Friday night fish fry has made a come back. Some new faces around but everything is tasting better than ever. The course is coming along nicely and looking forward to the expansion. Food was so good we went back Sunday for lunch. You gotta give them a try and see for yourself.

I took my grandsons, Brantley, age 12 & Cason, age 14, two weeks ago, once on Monday and again on Thursday with a cart. The entire staff from the clubhouse to the restaurant were awesome. The course was good and the food and wait staff were very good also-will definitely be back again-well done!

First time here, they don't take reservations so we showed up with a party of 8. We felt as though the person that greeted us was annoyed by our group. Was seated in about 10 minutes which I thought was pretty good considering they were busy. The rest of the experience went downhill after that. You could tell they were understaffed as our waitress was almost at a running pace, trying to keep up. Many factors played into our 2hr 20 min dinner. The food as a whole was very good, the only complaint was my baked potato was cold, my daughters chicken wrap only had chicken on half of it, the appetizers that were ordered, one came out 10 minutes before the meal and the other came with the meal. Bad time management from the kitchen. One of our guest ordered two fish dinners to go, they brought them out on a plate, had to take them back to put them in to go boxes, seems like the problems were mostly from the kitchen I'm hoping they were having an off night as most of the food that was brought out was really good, I will be back to try it again.

I recently visited Lake Beulah with my son, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time on the course. You can tell the new management takes great pride in the course, as there is a lot of work being done to enhance the greens and add new holes. After golf we stayed for dinner and I had prime rib (cooked perfectly) and my son had a burger. Prices were reasonable and portions were generous. I will definitely come back again, as they were advertising for fun activities like trivia night, bingo, live music, etc. Worth the trip!

The greens are bumpy and slow. The sand bunkers are mostly pure mud.

The fairways are playable. Lots of divots where people are driving. They have a port o potty in the middle of the 9 hole course but you can smell it from 300 feet away. Needs some serious maintenance and care.

The price seems like a bargain but after playing I felt your money is best spent elsewhere.

I really wanted to love Lake Beulah Golf Course under the new management, but I won’t be returning. We were pulled off the course three times for scattered storms, totaling about 90 minutes. I understand safety concerns and they can't control the weather, but it felt excessive. With 30–40 minutes left before dark, we tried to play a few holes (we had been spending money in the bar the whole time we were pulled off the course and before our round started), but were kicked off the first tee. The staff member (Corey?) was rude and hostile when I (calmly) tried to talk to him—telling me “good, don’t come back” after I said I wouldn’t return.

The course itself is in poor shape—rough is overgrown with dandelions, there’s no cell service or guest Wi-Fi, and they couldn’t even turn on the PGA Championship at the bar due to the music setup. The lone bright spot was the bar/restaurant staff were very friendly.

Overall, a very disappointing experience. Spend your time and money elsewhere.

This is a great 9 hole golf course with a great restaurant. A few short holes, but most are par 4. The perfect course to get your day of golf in. Anyone looking for a new course to try, I definitely recommend Lake Beulah.

Ken has made many improvements to the golf course and continues to do so.There is a driving range. Some new golf carts have been added as well as the pro shop being opened. The food and drink available after golf is always good and often includes a daily special. Although the course is not ready for the PGA, the cost to golf is a bargain.I recommend giving it a try.

On a recommendation from a friend, we decided to try the Saturday special prime rib. Both my husband and I said it was one of the best prime ribs we have ever had. My husband had chicken noodle soup with it and garlic, mashed potatoes. Both of our entrées had mixed vegetables. I ordered the side salad and baked potato. The prime rib was perfectly cooked and all sides were very good. We will be back.

Expectations were most certainly exceeded during my recent visit to Lake Beulah Country Club. The golf course is in very good condition. Pace of play was great, we were never waiting to hit nor pushed on pace of play. Challenging but fair layout that fits players of all levels.

The biggest surprise might have been the post round lunch. The restaurant gives off supper club vibes. Service was fast and friendly and all of the food was excellent.

Looking forward to experiencing what comes next at Lake Beulah. I've heard rumors of expanding into a full 18 hole course which could really turn this track into a destination.

This golf course is under new management and it shows. Overall condition of the property is suboptimal. With that said, the golf course is still playable and the staff are all very friendly. Greens are slower and show new growth. Maybe in a few years they will be able to take out some trees and let the greens grown in some more. They have new EZ-GO golf cars which is a plus. The bar and restaurant upstairs is nice and feels like walking into a place in door county. $18 to walk nine on a Saturday is a bit steep for this course.

This is a playable course for everyone. The course is open enough for juniors and seniors to play as well as some holes with tricky shots to the green
I was disappointed with the quality of some of the greens. Hopefully they will be addressed.

The place was a virtual ghost town, when it was normally a wait list. The meal was scaled down. The salad had been sitting on the plate so long it was wilted and chewy. Potato pancakes greasy. I never understood 2 people and 3 pieces of bread. Highly likely this will be the end of our Friday rotation.

I played LBCC yesterday and it's great to see how far the course has come since last year. A lot of hard work has gone into the fairways and greens and they are in much better shape this year. I'm excited to see more transformations over time.

Save your money.
They have all week to get the course ready, and decide to cut grass at 11am the day they open. There were no fairways, all rough. Greens are terrible. Tee boxes not taken care of. We won't be back.

Absolutely blown away by the transformation at Lake Beulah Country Club! This place has truly undergone a remarkable journey over the past few years. For those who played this course prior to new ownership, the difference is striking. There were significant challenges to overcome, and while the low green fees last year and this year still reflect the ongoing improvements, the progress is evident. So, if you're looking for a place to simply golf and have a good time, this is the perfect spot for you! However, if you're expecting the grandeur of Pebble Beach, you may find yourself disappointed.

The greens have been transformed, and they're not done yet! They're currently working on the fairways and removing overgrowth from around the course. Every time I return, something has improved! They even have a driving range—old school, but it gets the job done! I played the course over 20 times last year and have already played three times this year. This year is already shaping up to be better than last year! If you want the scoop on what's going on, talk to the Club Pro, Ken, who is in charge of the rebirth of this course! He is truly passionate about what this course can become!

My favorite thing is that we can get in 9 holes at a good price before hitting the lake at 10 am on weekends! Golf and water time ..... problem solved!

The prices here are lower than most places out there, making it an incredible value for the quality you receive, both for the food and the golf! I also really like the old-school supper club vibe! I recommend the large pretzel, beer, and a burger! The fish fry is awesome; they now really have something for everyone!

Had Sunday brunch there recently after church and it was delicious! There were 19 of us including 8 young children — 4 generations in total — and we couldn’t have had a nicer time. Went for their fish fry. Service is very good. The server was very attentive and the food came out timely even though it was a full house with a lot of large tables. Good bartenders, also. The fish fry was great. The prices are only a few dollars more than other places, but the amount of food you got was worth it. We tried the blue gill and the perch. They were the biggest pieces of those types of fish I've seen. More than enough for us. Fish was good, not greasy at all. The German potato salad that comes out with the bread is awesome. I could have eaten twice as much. The potato pancakes (2 large ones) I got had a very good flavor; could have been a little crispier, but I still liked them. My husband's baked potato was huge. Good coleslaw and tartar sauce. They were even having a special where you got a ticket for a buy one, get one free drink at the bar after your dinner. I will be back to try the haddock dinner.

The course itself is still a work in progress, but the staff is fantastic. I thoroughly enjoyed playing at LBCC, and I look forward to seeing the course develop as the staff continues to improve it. I’m a relatively casual golfer so it’s a nice course for me to continue to improve my game. For point of comparison, the course is far and a way in better condition than when I played it a couple of year’s ago. I will continue to return this summer.

Great people inside clubhouse! The course conditions are NOT their fault! But this course is 1 on a scale of 1-10. Greens are all dirt and divots everywhere. It looks like the changed the tee box into the greens. It is BAD. The weather (drought) hasn't helped at all but, if you want to golf an ok golf course I would go somewhere else. We almost left after hole 3. Again, great atmosphere and people but course is in TERRIBLE CONDITION.

Incredible fish fry at this iconic Wisconsin Supper Club. All homemade items fish German potato salad German potato pancakes creamy coleslaw. Delicious! Beautiful setting in the middle of a local golf course.
