This has become our favorite place in Lake Geneva!! The food is awesome while being affordable. I can't say enough about the level of service the staff delivers. On our most recent visit my wife and I decided to split one of their incredible burgers. I asked our waitress for an extra plate, when our order arrived it it was already divided for us. That's taking customer service up an extra notch you don't find very often. I'm also a huge fan of wings and their 1 pound of chicken wings appetizer is one of my favorites, especially the nashville spicy hot with blue cheese dipping sauce. As far as atmosphere goes you have a choice of indoor or outdoor seating with great views of lake Geneva. The drink menu is extensive as well. Check them out, I'm sure you will be happy you did!! 10/10

This place was okay but I wouldn't want to go back. I ordered a burger with fries and there person I was with ordered chicken tenders and tots. When we received our food, the sides were on the wrong plates. Luckily we didn't mind sharing plates and didn't make a fuss about it. The food probably would have been tasty but it was luke warm at vest. We were seated near the patio door which kept being open and shut for no reason (it was starting to rain out and people were no longer dining outside) which made it cold inside.

The food was absolutely delicious! We split the Smashed and Smothered Burger , and the Chicago Dipper sandwich — all were excellent. We sat outside, and the atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing. Our server, Kelly, was amazing — so attentive, friendly, and even gave us great ideas of things to do around Lake Geneva. She was wonderful with our kids too (they kept asking where she went after leaving our table!). Overall, such a great experience — we’ll definitely be back!

SHOULD HAVE SENT THEM BACK TO THE KITCHEN: absolutely NOT worth the $ that would have been better spent at Culvers for double the Curds made to perfection. With nearly 4.7M views of our reviews, we would gladly post a new Review if the restaurant were to offer a remake of better Curds for a better Review.

Comfortable restaurant with a great view of the lake. We went in specifically looking for a Friday fish fry, which they had. The fish was good, but they fry it very dark, not the golden brown it's normally served as. The coleslaw was good, the fries were good. Our waiter recommended the loaded mashed potatoes. They were good, but I think I would have preferred the fries with the fish. There is a full bar in the middle of the restaurant, and large clean bathrooms. We would go again.

Have been coming here for a couple of years. My experience here today Sunday it was not very good two of the meals was burnt the buns were black, and chicken tenders was cooked to a hard crisp I can tell that the grease were dirty by me being in restaurant management for 25 years, the waiter Kelly was not friendly or attended at all. Overpriced school lunch quality meals. Tasted very cheap and low grade but made to look fancy. I got the impossible meatloaf which I didnt have super high expectations of but I swear I've had equally as good quality meatloaf if not better quality from a frozen package at walmart. My partners smashed and smothered burger could hardly be classified as a burger. A slab of meat placed between 2 soggy pieces of bread. The fries looked like they'd be delicious but we're highly disappointing. Looked 100x better than they tasted. The onion rings were practically all breading and over fried.

The waitress kept calling my partner "darling" which didn't bother me too much at first but as I was on the phone and he took care of the check he said she drew a heart on the receipt for him. Could be skewed as highly inappropriate. At least equality in the "affectionate service" could sway the perceptions.

Atmosphere wasn't inherently bad but definitely not my style. More posh than I am comfortable being around. At least that's the vibe the people around me gave off I can't speak for the restaurant itself as we were seated outside and didn't interact with the inside of the restaurant much.

I went with a group of friends. We picked this place for all its vegetarian options. I ordered the nachos with plant based meat. Getting the plant based meat cost $1 extra. I received the nachos with real steak, and didnt realize until I was a bite in. I asked the server to look it over, she took it back. It was in fact meat. The got me a replacement dish with plant based meat, it took about 10 mins so most people were done eating by then. The server did apologize, but we still had to pay for it.

I ended up asking to speak with a manager who apologized but said there was nothing they could do. So I asked if they would comp me the dish, and he said yes, but it took me prompting him to get that assurance.

As a vegetarian, I was excited to come to a safe restaurant only to be disappointed. At least my mango mule was good, so i'll give them a star for that.

We had a really great experience at Lake City Social in Lake Geneva!

My husband ordered the Bacon Slab Burger and gave it a solid 4 out of 5 — he especially liked the thick-cut bacon, which really elevated the burger. Our youngest had the Classic Cheeseburger with American cheese and upgraded to the pretzel bun — she rated it a perfect 5 out of 5! My eldest ordered the Ciabatta Chicken Sandwich and enjoyed it even more after adding some of the bacon jam from the burger — a fun little twist that really worked.

I had the Prime Rib Sandwich and absolutely loved it — flavorful, juicy, and just really well done. All of the sides were hits: the Sweet Potato Tots, Regular Fries, and Greek Cold Salad were fresh and tasty. Everyone at the table enjoyed their meals from start to finish.

Service was friendly and attentive, and while I wasn’t sure about the vibe at first, the atmosphere really grew on me — casual, cute, and inviting. The restaurant is connected to The Cove Resort, which makes it super convenient if you’re staying there. Plus, there’s a free parking lot, which is always a win in Lake Geneva.

This was a dinner out on a Sunday evening. our service person took excellent care of us, checking in only as needed. Bar seemed to be a little slow, but the drinks produced were excellent in flavor. Old fashioned Sweet Heat was habenero forward, and for me that was great. The lavender lemonade was not sweet, which I liked. Appetizer was their Southern Arancini, which had a hard fried outer layer surrounding a moist center full of shrimp, rixe and pepper and onion bits. The sauce made it better. Main for me was their chicken Kabobs, thigh meat in a light marinade. It was good and not dry, but also simple in flavor. The wife's Garden Pasta was really good, with vegetable pieces throughout the red sauce.

We dined here twice during our stay at The Cove Hotel. The first time was great, the food was good, the service was fast, and we were very happy. The second time the service was good but it took a little longer to get our food, I'm guessing they were busier or shorter-staffed. However, there was a mixup with a drink order and our server walked up and asked "Do you want a margarita?" So we said sure! She explained someone put in an order for our table accidentally, so we assumed it was on the house. The server left the drink but returned a little while later and said the manager said we would be charged for the drink, even though it was their mistake. We said no thanks and she took it back. Mistakes at places of service should always go in favor of the customer, not sure what that manager was thinking but we were slightly annoyed by that.

Our waiter was friendly but a little too involved in our eating. Food also took quite a while to arrive at our table. We went there because my husband wanted prime rib. We get there and it was 3:30pm we give our order to the waitress and she says, we don’t have prime rib yet. We serve it at 4pm!!!! Really?! She could had been nicer more customer service friendly and go ask the kitchen if they can serve it now? It was only 30min difference. So we were like: ok? Then she mentions a prime rib sandwich! So my husband said sure ok, I’ll take that.

When she walked away, we are wondering: so they have prime rib for a sandwich but not for a whole cut? They being our food and the meat is extra cooked it looked like a Philly sandwich instead. He didn’t eat it at all, we told her we didn’t like it or wanted and she didn’t even offered to take it off our bill or bring something different. It was only $16 smh!

The wait staff was friendly. The food excellent. We had the shrimp and corn chowder, asian shrimp and Carmel crunch cake. The setting is lovely with a lot of high-wall booths for a sense of privacy.

We had a group of 16 at Lake City Social on a Saturday. We are locals, so this was not our first visit, having visited it many times when it was Sprecher's and under its new name and owners. I'll start with the service, quick was excellent for a group our size on a Saturday. We had two waiters and they were attentive throughout.

It's also always been a nice, large space for a restaurant and in a great location. It has a relaxed but classy feel and a room that doesn't feel cramped.

Food wise I can't comment on everyone, but it felt like everyone left happy. The menu is a good size, neither overwhelmingly large nor too limited, they had something for everyone. I had the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich, and it was well fried and tasty. They have interesting curly cut fries that were very good as well.

I would certainly recommend and will visit again.

I ordered a the slab burger. It was so tough it was not edible. I took two bites and left the rest. Server asked how my food was and I said I didn't like the burger. He just said "oh ok." He never offered to get me something else or remove it from the bill. I left hungry and dissappointed.

Standard American Fare type of menu, nothing amazing here but overall a good selection of salads and burgers and sandwiches. Prices are also as expected- steep for the small portions but expected to a touristy town. The smash burger was tasty. The sweet potato tots were yummy but greasy. Nice views of the lake from the restaurant. Our server Stephanie was berry attentive and friendly. She also was great about refills and splitting checks without seemed annoyed. Parking lot will be paid starting in February 2025 according to posted signs FYI but I found free parking.

I was in town for Winterfest and happened to stop in here for a relaxing dinner after spending the whole day out in the cold. The atmosphere was cozy, and the service was adequate. Our waiter even let us sample some drinks, which was a nice touch and helped us choose the perfect pairing for our meal.

I had the burger with fries, and I was extremely satisfied with both the taste and quality of the food. The burger had amazing flavor, and the toppings complemented it perfectly. The fries were also good, with a unique twist that made them stand out.

Overall, it was a great experience. If I’m ever back in town and craving a burger, I’ll definitely be coming back!

I was in town for the Winterfest (highly recommend) and decided to stop in with my family for a bite. We were seated immediately in a very comfortable booth. On the way, we grabbed a few pull tabs too of course. The waiter let us a try a few beers before making a decision, and I was very happy with my decision (secretary of domination). We started with the curds which by far surpass Culver’s cheese curds. I then got a beyond beef burger with fries. The fries were nothing to write home about but the burger was good. All in all a good dining experience from start to finish. I will definitely be returning next time I’m in town.

Took my buddy out here for his birthday. I can definitely say best burgers I’ve ever had. The scenery was amazing classy but rustic. Love the big stained window. That’s vaulted above your head when seating down and eating. The price is very reasonable for two dinners and two drinks. I spent under 80 bucks. And was able to give a $15 tip. Great customer service definitely recommend eating there or just going there to socialize.
