So, this place is one of our go tos. It is a great place to just catch a drink and some random conversation. The bartenders are all cool and professional. They treat everyone like a regular. The food options are on point depending on the day but for the most part...can't loose with the pizza or the Italian beef. Great location.

Never heard of this place, I was invited out by family fornthe fish fry. There was 4 of us that ate. 2 of them had a few cocktails, 3 of us had the fish fry and one had chicken wings. I covered the bill and expected to have a minimum total of $80, to find out it was just under $65. The food was good, the bartender/ server Ashley was AMAZING. This place is family friendly and I would definitely recommend dining here. One of those places where it seems you can easily become a regular and welcomed to the family.

We attended a Halloween party at LGL which was also a fundraiser for our local sharing center.

They had lots of fun activities for both kids and adults like painting pumpkins & shuffleboard!

There is also a great outdoor space with a volleyball court, bags & horseshoes which kept the kids busy for hours before the Halloween Costume Parade!

The food was delicious & I definitely recommend the Italian Beef Sandwiches.

My favorite thing about LGL is how involved the owners are with giving back to the community.

They put a great deal of effort into a really fun family event that also benefited our local community.

We love this place. Phil and Carla renovated a drabby little bar into somewhere with a touch of class. It is welcoming, bartenders are always friendly, and the food is always delish. The specialty pizza is great along with quality drinks. Phil and Carla are super hospitable, and even hosted us for our wedding back in 2019! I'm impressed at all of the updates, and we are excited to spend time in the new pavilion :) The neighborhood friendly activities are always a plus with the Halloween party just happening last weekend that was a hit! We have been going to LGL for several years. They host a lot of family friendly events. Ice Fishing Derby's, Craft Fairs, & Fundraisers . Local bar with more than local tasting food! The pizza and wings are absolutely delicious. The space is woodsy and feels like a classic Wisco Sports spot. Darts, pool table, and shuffleboard all free on the inside, which is a huge bonus.
Summertime huge open space outside is amazing for relaxation and fun. Volleyball and horseshoes for summer fun. Drinks on the back deck. Bar is handicap accessible!!! Definitely a perfect stop after RenFaire for pizza and beer. Winter fishing derby is super fun on the lake with LGL to “warm up”

We absolutely love LGL. We randomly stumbled in here a few years ago and were hooked. Our absolute favorite is their Italian beef and Martini night on Thursdays. What an easy, short jaunt from Chicago to this fun local bar that serves great food in Bristol, WI! So , I am conflicted as the pizza , potato skins and the marinara rolls were really good but it is a Monday night and not super busy so we put the pizza order in at 7 PM and at 8:40 the pizza just arrived..

So fun place , good food and drinks but I would say that they need to work on the speed in the kitchen and the did not seem all that apologetic that it took so long.

I am local so I will try again and see how that goes a second time.

Our family visits LGL often! Recently, we were there when they hosted a get together for my nephew’s youth football team & then again this weekend when they put on a free Halloween activity day for kids in the community! My elderly parent's wanted to go to lunch here after church. Most seating is bar seating and it was busy. We found lower seating in the back that worked for them, but we were batting flies everywhere. They need help because there was only one bartender, and I had to request menus, and she had to eventually take our order. Service was extremely slow, the seating was uncomfortable, and we were ready to just walk out. The 3 stars is because it seems like a fun place to hangout with friends, and my parent's enjoyed their chicken dish they split. If you like pizza, I heard it's good here (don't know, I had a burger). Looks like they have volleyball and bags in the back, and they have 2 pool tables inside. Recommend only if you're hanging with friends, not your elderly parents. Lol

Literally the worst. I've gone in (Aug 9) and followed up with 2 phone calls (Aug 12 & 19) requesting a copy of the receipt for an unauthorized purchase (Aug 8) on a credit card. Nobody check an ID despite the card indicating "See I.D." on the signature line.
First woman was kind and took my information and said someone would contact me. She was the same individual I spoke with the first phone call to which I was told "the owner is out of town." I called again, 10 days after initial contact and the woman who answered was horrendous. She was incredibly rude, had the worst tone, and made 0 attempt to even help in getting the issue resolved. 0 stars for service all around & 2 stars for food (from a previous experience). I will be following up (again) and am willing to update the review if the issue is resolved, though seemingly unlikely at this time.

If you're looking for a classic Wisconsin roadside tavern, this place will fit the bill. Cold beer, bar food at a great price, bar games galore (pool table, shuffle board, darts, horse shoes. They even have a volleyball net!).

We got the Friday all day fish fry special. It was super good! They use Spotted Cow for the batter which makes it even tastier. The portions were big too. Two pieces of fish plus your choice of potato side. My wife and I split it and were both satisfied.

It is also not far from the lake and looks like they may rent out canoes and paddle boats.

Ashley, our server was wonderful and took care of our whole table very well. We were all pleased with the service and the friendly environment. The even opened the shuffle board table so our daughters could play while we waited for our food to be done. Had pizza and it just was not good. It had zero sauce and very shy on toppings. The service was poor at best. However, in fairness to the server, she was waiting tables and tending the bar which is never a good setup. The seating is in two different areas in which our seating was not easily visible. So the layout is not conducive to a single server. The people were nice and friendly. If we were to ever go back we would sit elsewhere and not have pizza.
