The food was excellent. Husband had a shaved prime rib sandwich I had the salmon dinner with soup. I don’t know what they called it, but it was like a shrimp chowder - REALLY good. Considering everything , I think overall this is probably the best value for your money. I will definitely be back when I’m in town.

Perfect waterfront dining! They really took advantage of their views. The atmosphere is great! Fresh, clean, new facility with a fun menu! The espresso martini was a little thin, but very good! We tried the beet hummus appetizer and were blown away with how much we liked it! WHOA! Will be ordering again. The cheese curds were great - get some extra ranch! So tasty!

We came for a late lunch and sat outside. Beautiful view of the lake. Off season, so not busy but downside was they were out of our first three drink choices. Server was very friendly and attentive. Kids meals were very disappointing -- kraft mac and cheese or 2 small frozen chicken tenders with a cup of fruit cocktail was not worth $10 each. Our food was just okay, definitely not worth the $106 total (2 entrees, 2 drinks, and 2 kids meals + tip). The view was nice but next time we'll just pick up lunch somewhere else and find a picnic table nearby.

Was here celebrating a week with our friends and took them here. Atmosphere was ok, service ok but the food and my drink was absolutely horrible. My drink had hardly any bourbon and was watered down. Our friends ordered the walleye and it was extremely overcooked and the vegetables and potatoes ice cold. I ordered the steak sandwich and the meat was sliced way too thick and was cold as were my fries. We did get a replacement walleye that was a bit better. I asked to speak with a manager and was told by our waitress that she was a supervisor and that there was NO manager on duty. It’s Saturday night and no manager is on duty?!?! That is totally insane. Our waitress adjusted our bill but the evening was a total wreak. Someone needs to go in the back of the house and make changes. I know, I worked in the industry over 40 years. Sorry to say but we will never return.

We were sat in full sun no shade options, not the best for us given there were a handful of shaded tables. 🤷‍♀️ Limited pricey menu. The chicken sandwich was dry, but I did enjoy the arugula. BF ordered buffalo chicken bacon wrap sub bbq and no bacon - had both buffalo and bacon, but they did bring a side of bbq sauce. Waiter was seen once after the order. We waited quite some time for our bill.

When visiting the Wisconsin Dells.. this is a must!!!
The Calamari.. is one of the best, I and others with, have had.. not to mention the large portion!
Very aesthetically pleasing.. especially if you're able to grab a table out on the deck overlooking Lake Delton.
Leave room for a visit after to their delicious ice cream shop located next door... The Large variety and delicious assortment of flavors.. and.. Again, the portions are more than typical.. for just one scoop!!

Great lakeside location especially when weather is nice. The lake level outdoor patio bar was closed since it was after Labor Day but the upper level patio restaurant was open in late September. Staff were very nice and the service was great although it wasn’t very busy for a Saturday night with temps in the low 70s after 7pm.

Lake House Grill and Bar is the perfect combination of beautiful scenery, live music, good food and kind people. We visited on a Thursday afternoon and the restaurant was hosting a seafood boil. There were indoor seating options and outdoor seating options. When we arrived the roof on the upper level was closed and that was one vibe. Then they opened the roof and that was a totally different vibe. Both options were equally beautiful. The lower level was the location for the seafood boil and live music. The seating options facing the water provide you the opportunity to enjoy beautiful views. There were also enjoyable water activities such as people on jet skis and people on boats. The food was fresh and delicious. The customer service was excellent.
There is also a cozy ice cream shop with gifts for sale located on the ground level. It was visibly four different income streams at one business location. It was nice to see so many people enjoying time together.

I got very sick after eating a steak sandwich! I payed with a debit card! I left a tip for 7 dollars he took 12 dollars ! Don't pay with a credit card or debit card they will rob you! I called when i returned home from vacation! To let them know and she flat out hung up on me ! I called them again and she hung up on me again ! We found this place by accident however it's turnig out to be one of the best place we ever visited! The food was phenomenal, the service was outstanding and the atmosphere was incredible. The staff was amazing, we met Aref, Vasko and our turkish server and they were absolutely proffesional, special thanks to them!!

First time being there. Food was good, I ordered the three napkin hot beef, I asked for no spicy giardiniera. I went to take a bite and it was very spicy. Never had a prime rib sandwich so spicy, especially when I didn't want spicy giardiniera on it in the first place. The waitress never asked me for another drink and only came and check on me and my husband once. The service was uncalled for. It was not busy when we were there. I don't think I would come back again, especially on my birthday. Thanks for ruining it especially my food

We visited this restaurant for their fish fry, and the entire experience was disappointing. I found plastic in my cheese curds. While the waitress offered to remake them, I had already eaten half and didn’t want more.

The rest of the food was no better—the mashed potatoes had an overwhelming herb flavor, the corn had no flavor or sweetness at all, and the fried perch still had scales on it. When I mentioned this, the waitress said it was “normal” for perch to have scales, which felt dismissive.

For the plastic in my food, they offered a 10% discount—a coupon anyone can get. This response did not feel appropriate for such a serious issue.

The waitress was polite, but the food quality, lack of care in preparation, and how the waitress handled this left us deeply disappointed. I would not recommend dining here.

The atmosphere is absolutely breathtaking. Such a beautiful lake views. Our server Yekta was exceptional and anticipated every need. So greasy! I visited with my three kids. We ordered fish tacos, the giant pretzel, cheese curds and two chicken finger kids meals. The cheese curds were in huge clumps and swimming in grease. The menu stared the giant pretzel came with beer cheese and spicy Cajun mustard, it was served with roller rink squeeze cheese. Gross! 🤢 I asked the server for the sauces that are stated on the menu and was told I would need to pay extra for the mustard and it always comes with that cheese. He checked with the kitchen and came back to offer me blue cheese????? The chicken in the kids meals were coated in grease also. You couldn’t touch it without a coating of grease on your fingers. The fish tacos were basically corn/coleslaw tacos with tiny slivers of fish. For $70 we ate a few bites and left the rest behind. How disappointing. I feel like if you have a customer leaving almost all of their food on their plates and they have already mentioned their item didn’t come as described you would offer to fix the situation or offer to remove an item from the bill. If you want to serve frozen fried food at least figure out how to serve it not still swimming in grease, and please fix your menu so it’s accurate or have your servers explain differences to your customers .

Been coming here for a several years now. When I first came in the steak frites were very good.
The last two times I came here me and my family ordered 4 steak frites.
All temperatures at medium and all the temperatures were well done very dry. Kinda dry like shoe leather.
Not sure if willing to come back.
Tried to let the bartender know tonight very well done steaks. And he said it’s cause the cooks are “color blind”.

This place has great outdoor seating that is fully covered from sun and rain. There were tables for 4 and 6 with some tables pulled together to accommodate larger groups. The staff seemed willing to make something work for any size group. There are great views of the lake from the upper decks. There were also some indoor seating and a cool inside/outside bar.

The menu was simple but seemed to have something for everyone. The clientele ran from dinner dates to family dinners to fresh-off-the-lake boaters. Very casual all the way around

I was there on a Tuesday evening in August and the place was packed. (84 degrees and sunny) There was a steady stream of people coming and going. I'm pretty sure some orders got momentarily mixed up between tables and not everyone at a given table got served at exactly the same time but (again) it was super busy. My food came out quick and as ordered. My server made sure I was well taken care of. There's no reason I won't be back for another dinner next time I'm in town

I ate here after a tournament at Kalahari with my child. Their calamari was outstanding. Lightly breaded, fresh, and the tentacle pieces! So good, and with a little kick with the peppers. I had a salad and then my spouse had a lobster and crab roll and our kiddo the peel and eat shrimp. I thought the salad dressing lacked some flavor, but the other items were all excellent. Great vibes, great views, and delicious food.
I got the Friday fish fry, my husband and son got the summer bowl. Everything was perfectly plated and tasted very good. Service got one ding because while it was a Friday and busy, our server did disappear and my husband had to track her down to pay the bill.
Overall, we really enjoyed the food and the live music. I loved that there was a bar and seating area downstairs to wait for an available table. This will remain one of our favorite places from our trip!

Not as nice or as intimate as I was hoping, although we were there for an early dinner. Random little pieces of garbage on the floor, not many but enough to notice. There is a nice view of the lake. Server was police and cordial, however I did end up having to go and get the salt and pepper for our table.
Largest issue was the food, almost everything we had (hummus, firecracker shrimp, corn chowder soup, walleye, vegtable pasta with chicken added) was rather bland if not bad. Hence the need to go and get the salt and pepper that was not offered to the table. The corn might have been frozen, potatoes were not hot, pasta was as bland and flavorless as it could have been, along with the no flavor added chicken, shrimp was good, hummus grew on us but was still bland, and the soup was neither here nor there. The glass of wine my partner ordered was ok, and my latte was not a latte but just a cup of coffee. The walleye itself was good. While not overly expensive, was very much not worth the cost.
Not a place we will be revisiting for a lakeside dining experience in wisconsin dells.

The apps, soups and drinks were great! The food was meh. It was just ok. We were expecting a bit more after how great the apps were. I got the salmon meal and it had almost no seasoning. Dipping it in the butter they have it floating in didnt add much just made it seem greasy. They need better main course choices. One had 1 pasta option... One soup option.... We did not have the experience that the reviews seem to indicate. Our waitress was great, but the food brought to us was not. We ordered the fish tacos for an appetizer. It had some great ingredients, slaw, corn, an avocado sauce and fish. The fish was listed last as it was the least noticeable ingredient in the taco. One of my two fish tacos essentially had no fish on it. If it was called a veggie taco, it would have been delicious. As a fish taco one of two was disappointing and the other was very good. Both were exceptionally watery however, the slaw and corn should be drained better prior to assembly.

The kids meals were fine, no complaints. the adult meals however not so much. Two steak sandwiches were both inedible. The amount of grizzle made one sandwich unable to be chewed and the other the steak had to be removed and sliced with a knife to remove the grizzle to eat. The mushrooms and onions were great, the horseradish cream sauce was great but the bun choice was insufficient to hold the sloppy mess it turned into.

The reality is that the flavors and menu seem fantastic. The execution of the ingredients being assembled does not seem to have worked out.

We ate here last night. I had the burger with onions and mushrooms. It was flavorless and slimy. I tried one bite and there was no flavor. Added A1 and it tasted like a big slimy ball of A1 (the A1 was the only redeeming quality).
Another in our group had the crabby blt… the crabby patty was gooey (not crisp) and couldn’t eat it… she removed it and ate the rest.
The neighbor mowed his lawn and it was loud and made the whole deck area smell like grass…
The summer house was quality this new version is disgusting.

We have been coming to the Summerhouse for many years on our annual trip to the Dells. This year, as the Lake House, we were very disappointed in the food quality. We had a shrimp salad and the flavor was terrible. Not sure if it was the dressing or the salad itself, but we had to send it back. Also had the crabcake BLT. I’ve had crabcakes many times, and these were not good. They were very mushy, with no flakes of crab to be found. Overall the food was disappointing, considering the atmosphere is wonderful, as was our server. I hope it improves.

Pretty underwhelming experience. I'm more than empathetic to accommodating our table -- we were a walk in group of 10. That can make things chaotic pretty quickly. I got the impression that our server was overwhelmed by everything given to him and that the kitchen was backed up. Drinks, appetizers, and entrees took a pretty significant amount of time to get here. I was surprised when we got one round of refills. Having worked in this industry previously as effectively my first career, my gut feeling is that the restaurant isn't properly equipped to handle the amount of business it gets on summer weekends. The food was also quite underwhelming; I got the steak sandwich and it was not flavorful at all. Steak had no flavor, horseradish cream had no kick, even the veggies on it tasted bland. The appetizers we got were Ok, not very outstanding in terms of flavor or quality. In general this experience was just underwhelming and quite frankly I wish we had picked somewhere else to get dinner.

Edit to update: I wrote this review while we were still at the restaurant. While we were waiting for the bill, I took a bit of my girlfriend's (only half eaten) cheeseburger to find it was also very bland and tasteless. The bottom bun of my steak sandwich and her burger completely disintegrated before either of could finish the meal, making it hard to eat either. The prices relative to the quality of the food don't match at all. Very disappointing experience.

BEWARE!!! Hours state they are open until 10pm. My husband and I came at 9:25 on a Thursday and before we even fully walked in the door, we were told they would not serve us and that we could come back during the weekend. This wouldn’t be upsetting expect, their business hours are listed as they are open until 10pm on Thursday. If you want to close at 9:30, fine. But put that on your website and your Google hours instead of letting people drive to you establishment and wasting time. Thankfully, moosejaw is *actually* open the hours they say they are and you’re able to go inside and sit down.

Visited while in town on vacation. Waited about 30 minutes for a group of 11, but only because we requested shade, and I feel like that's not very long at all. The bar downstairs has plenty of seating and the shop next door kept us all entertained.
Once seated we found out there was a water issue, so we couldn't get water or lemonade, but the beer and other drinks were fine so we were too! The poor server handled it well and kept everyone happy, she was fantastic.
Everyone loved their food. Cheese curds and beet hummus were amazing. Shrimp and crab roll was so good! Unfortunately I only took one picture of the food because the view was stunning!! Definitely worth the trip.

The place itself is very lovely and looks over the water. The food was hit or miss, I would not recommend the salmon as it was bland and overcooked. The sides it came with weren't any better. The mashed potatoes were cold and the spinach was bitter. Definitely not worth the $30. Other members of my party had pretty great meals, the shrimp and crab roll was pretty good. Everything else was either overpowered with flavor or bland. They also charged for extra sauces but it didn't feel like they gave you enough to begin with, which could be the case to make an extra buck. When you're paying $17 for a burger and then get charged to add mayo, it becomes really ridiculous in my opinion. The waitress we had wasn't very attentive and only came to take orders, drop food off, and get the checks. After we paid we never saw her again. Gratuity is added for parties 6 or more which would be fine if the service was actually good. This might have been an off day for this place but I can't say i'd ever come back.

A good restaurant in a good place. But the kitchen definitely needs to be finalized. Here's an example: the Caesar salad I ordered was dry, very little sauce, no tomatoes, no chicken fillet, some strange cheese instead of Parmesan. Also the staff who pays you "too much attention" and asks for tips.

Great experience! It was pretty busy and we got so lucky to get the last table outside RIGHT BY THE LAKE! And despite it being busy we still got top quality service and fresh hot food without a long wait. Highly recommend and will return again soon!

Service was great from our waitress and everyone was very attentive (other staff in the dinning area). The food was absolutely amazing. Even with a small menu, there are a lot of great options.

The only suggestion or feedback I have, is have your hostess be a bit more transparent and explain the reason for why there may be a longer wait time for a table, or be kinder about the reasons you don't allow groups to sit in different areas of the restaurant. When we arrived there were tables open inside and a ton of tables outside. We were told we were not a big enough party to sit inside (there were two of us) which kind of shocked us. Once our name was in and we went to sit out back by the water, we noticed the back patio was only about half full. Once we waited for 30 minutes and were seated a party of about 50 came in (hence why they were leaving a good portion of the outside open). Okay no biggie, makes sense. Now here is where I'm confused, we were taken to sit down, they put us at a table that was open when we arrived and never had anyone seated at it while we waited. That was a bit odd and confusing. So expect a wait no matter how busy they are or are not but it will be worth it.

What a great place in a location you absolutely wouldn't see coming. Found this place aimlessly driving around the dells, and im so happy we stopped to check it out! Really good fish fry! Not overly battered, so you can actually taste the fish. Very busy on a Friday night. Sat at the bar to avoid the 25 min wait for a table. Bartenders were very busy but made sure everyone knew they weren't forgotten. All the servers were very kind and very helpful to one another. Anytime one didn't have something to do, they would help another server or the bartender. Seemed like a very good team!

Whether it's cocktails or food you are looking for, this is the place to go. Exceptional view with lake side seating. Relaxing with such a welcoming atmosphere. We personally had the bomb pop & mango dragon fruit mojito and they were to die for! Being able to enjoy them by the lake was the cherry on top. On vacation, I'm always looking for places away from the tourist traps....Wisconsin Dells has a lot...this place doesn't disappoint. Relaxed atmosphere on the lake with great service and really good seafood options. I suggest the crab cake BLT. However the hostess was super rude we asked to be seated closest to the waterfront and she just rolled her eyes and didn’t seat us where we asked for (plenty of tables open). We also asked for a highchair and apparently she forgot and we needed to grab it ourselves. Our server came to us and didn’t even greet us appropriately she only asked if we were ready to order, we asked if there is any way we could move to the table closest to the lake view PLEASE and she rolled her eyes as she said yes. Barely check on us but she was very nice to everyone else around us. At this point we were just wondering if she was rude because we are Hispanic? There is no reason to have ATTITUDE when we are being very polite. We have worked in the restaurant industry before so regardless of the situation we left more than 20% tip because we know servers make money out of tips. If you ask me if she deserved it? No she did NOT at all. IMPROVE YOUR COSTUMER SERVICE!

Food was pretty good. The view is lovely. My fiance found a spider in her margarita and the server immediately took it away and offered a replacement. We chose water instead.
