This a a great 6,000 yard course. The greens are fantastic and quick. Do not be above the hole. There is more variety of holes then it looks like on the first 6 holes. I liked #2, #5, #7 and #8 on the front and #10, #14, #15 and #18 on the back.

Good course with a lot of turns. Pretty open course layout. Multiple holes have water to play around or doglegs to press for positional play. 4 tee boxes to work with to adjust play difficulty. Clubhouse was small and staff was decent. Rates were pretty good for 18 holes. Greens were nice and had challenging rolls. Can't beat the electric carts with the gps devices. Pretty good course to stop for a round.

Course is really nice and always in great shape, my only knock on the course is the sand traps, more gravel than sand. But a fun challenging scenic course. Pro shop most are pretty friendly. one disapointment is if you golf an evening after work club house bar is usually closed so no after round drink😩

We had our wedding at Wissota a few weeks ago and it was above and beyond anything we thought it would be. The staff was extremely attentive, anything we asked for was taken care of. All of the guests raved about the food, it was delicious. It rained for our ceremony that was supposed to be outside so we decided to move it inside which was a little disappointing, but the staff took care of every little detail that needed to be done for the ceremony to happen inside. The only thing that I could complain about is where the groom is supposed to get ready. There is a bathroom downstairs that is open to anyone who is golfing and he felt he didn’t have a private space to get dressed or take pictures. There was someone in the bathroom for quite a long period of time using the toilet and he was a bit perturbed by that. The bridal sweet is nice overall. Pricing is on the very high side, but overall it was worth it.

I just had my wedding here this past Saturday. Absolutely gorgeous venue especially for sunset pics. Everyone there was so friendly and so much more helpful than we could have ever asked for. Liz was there for the whole day and helped by checking in with me throughout the day and helped with everything even including getting the kids focused enough for pictures (the flower girls loved her). She took charge of things I didnt have time to deal with and made sure everyone was accommodated and had everything they needed. She took so much stress off my big day and was very responsive and helpful the week before with any questions or little worries I had. Couldn't have asked for a better venue or coordinator for our big day and would highly recommend this place to anyone.

We had an absolutely fantastic time hosting our wedding here in mid-June 2021. Food was incredible, everyone was accomodating, and our coordinator Carolyn absolutely made the experience. I don't think our wedding could have gone more smoothly and perfect without that. Pricing was a tiny bit high but it was worth it all in order to have an event here as well orchestrated as it was. Beautiful views here too! The only thing I would be wary of now is that the wedding coordinator we used is now no longer here so I would definitely try to get a feel for whoever the new coordinator is before committing to a contract.

As far as wedding venues go, I couldn’t recommend Lake Wissota enough. The views are stunning, the staff is accommodating and friendly, and WOW is the coordinator amazing at what she does. She is knowledgeable, flexible, helpful, and so kind. She was the reason we chose this venue and we are so happy we did. Our day was perfect, in large part to Carolyn and the staff who made it possible. Highly, highly recommend. According to my husband the golf course is pretty nice too!

I recently photographed a wedding in this super beautiful spot and I loved every corner of it. Lake view golf course with an awesome reception site? YES PLEASE! The light is easy to access and the staff is amazing ! The wedding party had a blast and the couple were basically in a dream surrounded by greenery and all their loved family and friends. We were married in July 2018 at Lake Wissota and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Shannon, their stellar Wedding Director, has templates and timelines to use so that her staff are prepared for the day of. When we got to the venue everything was set exactly how we planned. Their staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Lake Wissota requires you to use their kitchen versus bringing in a caterer and it was definitely well worth it. We decided on a plated dinner and everyone's meal was fresh and hot! Lake Wissota was incredibly flexible - literally everything we asked for, Shannon was up to the task.
