I love Lorados! Just recently tried them for the first time and I've been back 4 times since. The food is very flavorful and consistent. I especially love the guacamole, it's smoother rather than super chunky and tastes fresh. The chips and salsa are also very good and the chips are always fresh, still warm. The staff are excellent and you never have an empty drink (or salsa!). Also, their coca cola tastes especially good and not watered down.

Inside was dark and dingy, the walls needed to be cleaned because they had food/beverage splatter on them. The cup I was given for my lemonade was clearly old and had seen plenty of wear and tear and was rather unappealing to drink from as such.

The food was less than. It had very little to no flavor to it. I had a combo meal of a beef enchilada and taco; hard shell taco that wasn't specified and I had figured it would be a soft shell, corn tortilla. The beef tasted like what I would have gotten at a Taco Bell, dry, grainy and filled with disappointment. Even the rice was a let down as it was just rice that looked like it was seasoned but had nothing going for it.

As for service, our waitress was pleasant. We were seated thoughtfully as I was with my Grandma who struggles to walk so it was nearer the entry but not so close it felt awkward. Food came out quick but not hot; plate was hot just not the meal.

All in all, I would not recommend going here.

When I received my nachos order, the chips were stale. A bag of fresh chips was provided with the order, but it made me wonder whether the toppings were even fresh or if it was a previously made order that didn’t get used?. Not sure about that but the chips were very stale. Plenty of meat, but it too was kind of chewy. The rest of the toppings were good.

I was visiting Madison from Texas and this place was not far from my hotel. I decided to give this place a try and was glad I did. The atmosphere was good but the food was great. The chips and salsa were good and not those thin bland chips and watered down salsa. Very good. They have an extensive menu and decided to order the Lengua Tacos, which you don't find in a lot of Mexican restaurants. They give you 3 tacos that come in double corn tortillas along with a small dish of refried beans and rice that was good. The sauce that came with the lengua tacos was great. It was spicy and added just the right amount of kick to bitchslap my tongue just enough to make these tacos a favorite. I was very happy with my order and the staff was great. They were not that busy at the time but was glad to have some quiet time to look around Laredos and get a feel for it. I definitely will be back if I visit Madison again. Thanks Laredos for a great meal and wonderful staff.

Laredos used to me on of my favorite places in Madison. I ordered via uber eats today and got my usual dish and this is honesty the worst, least flavorful “Mexican” meal I have EVER had. Chicken is unseasoned, the rice is almost as bland as white rice, they gave me the wrong type of tortillas and didn’t include chips with my salsa and cheese dip that I spent $7 extra on. Never again. This place went downhill FAST. Disgusting.

The food here is amazing. I don’t particularly like Mexican food, but I will continue to come back here for it. Their chimi cheesecake is WONDERFUL and their tortilla chips are exemplary. I would give five stars, but the server who is always here (older lady) seems to be discriminatory against people. Friday night...parking lot was barely half full.

I was shocked until I got inside. The service was absolutely awful. The waitress (older lady) was absolutely rude to my friend and I. I asked for a glass of water several times, never to receive one. I stopped going to this restaurant for years because they we're so terrible. On a whim we decided to go a couple months ago and the food was great. Everything was fresh and it was worth the money. The selections are plenty and there are some that are reminiscent of authentic Mexican flavors but there are also some thrown together American Mexican dishes. I'm not sure where they came up with a recipe for ground beef but it is super salty and I don't know why they put potatoes in it. A year ago I would have rated them one star across the board. I believe now they've got some good Cooks because we've been a few times and it's been consistent each time. But they really really need to rethink their ground beef recipe

Went on a Wed night after seeing a woodman's receipt advertisement for margaritas 2X1. Walked into the bar that wasn't open. Waited for service, finally went out to the dining room & flagged a server down. I requested a margarita while looking at the menu. No happy hours deals anymore. I've ate at the Fish Hatchery Rd. one & found ambeince & flavor in food lacking. The server (Tonya) took my order & I only saw her again with my check. It took the greeter to deliver my chips & salsa (he looked kinda flustered upon noticing that the food was there (delivered by kitchen staff- FAST!) & no chips yet. Living in AZ, I'm used to beans & rice w/my meal. Here only beans. Now don't get me wrong, food was delicious!! & I will return to this business again. Service (on 1 part) was lacking. Hopefully it will improve. I'll find out next week w/a little more experienced now

I made a carry out order for 2 taco salads that ended up coming out to a total of $36.00 when I showed up. My bad for not asking a total before I hung up I guess, but their prices are listed as $10.49 on the menu pictures. I get it, prices are going up but what I got was not good. It’s a tiny taco salad, if you can even call it a salad. It’s literally a pile of mush, hardly any lettuce, definitely not a salad.
