We both ordered the Burrito Supremo, she had carne asada and I had the ground beef. No flavor whatsoever, until I added hot sauce, it was so bland. If you have stomach issues and wanna go somewhere the spice is lacking.....this is your place.
The chips are on point!!! Best I've had..,the salsa is amazing as well. Hopefully it was just an off night, but I can promise you I'm not going to spend 50 bucks for me and my wife to find out.

Fully convinced they use a microwave to heat up their food. Ordered the Nacho Supreme, the whole top layer was covered in pre-shredded cheddar cheese. It was half melted, cold and it was one giant glob. Had to cut my way into the cheese with a knife to find the chips and they were soggy. Ground beef was cold and tasteless, almost watery? My wife and I ordered take out from them when they first opened, we had the same experience with the food, tasteless and soggy. Been reading a lot of reviews describing the same thing. I hope they really read these and take them into consideration. Throw some seasoning and make the food fresh, I'm sure you'll fill your seats up real quick. Every time I've been there to eat, we're one of maybe three groups.

I hate to sound rude but the food was horrible. I ordered a shrimp salad and it came hot and soggy drenched in some type of red sauce when I asked for no sauce it taste like ketchup and had melted cheddar cheese on it. My sister ordered "Carnitas de res" and it was supposed to have steak, but at first the waitress brought out a plate with pulled pork on it then when she brought back what my sister ordered the steak tasted and smelt like it was sitting out for too long before they cooked it😖

Upon parking, we were impressed by the
hand-painted murals, and the indoor decor kept up the festive, handcrafted vibe, with hand carved benches and chairs and tropical paintings adorning every wall. The staff was very friendly and the perfect degree of attentive -checking in when needed but not hovering. The menu is HUGE so give yourself some time to peruse it. Food and drinks are reasonably priced, and be sure to check out the specials as well (several beers including Corona were on special for $2.75!). The food was delicious and hot with very generous portions. We got the Fajitas Rancheras for Two and joked that it should be renamed "for Five" with how much meat arrived in the sizzling "cauldron" that was delivered to our table. We also thoroughly enjoyed a combination platter of tamale, chili relleno, and shredded beef enchilada. Come hungry (or plan to take home plenty of leftovers)! Las Margaritas will definitely be one of our new favorite Mexican places in the area- wish we had discovered it sooner!

We've been here 2 other times and it was really good but tonight was awful. Waitress couldn't understand us at all. No body got what they ordered and the take home chimmi Chonga was suppose to be just the chimmi but instead it was covered in sauce and guacamole and barely had any meat. My mom & I stopped in for dinner Monday night. A little surprised when perusing the menu online it said....drive thru! Sure enough as we were coming down the road you could tell it was a drive thru!!So the bar wasn't set particularly high but I'm also a big believer in the most unassuming places can prepare some rather delicious meals! We arrived about 5:30 and felt like we had beat the dinner rush as the parking lot was rather empty. Beautiful & colorful art hangs all over the restaurant walls. Colorful beautifully carved chairs awaited us inside. I liked that the restaurant was sort of divided in to thirds....keeps the noise to a minimum. She promptly brought out chips and salsa...when I heard my mom say "mmm warm chips!" What? I've never heard of warm, freshly made chips! Bonus points! We again perused he menu and both opted for number 22 Burrito Supremo under the House Specials. Me w chicken and sans tomatoes, her for ground beef. WHOA! I am not exaggerating when I say I think Lenondro brought out our meals in under five minutes! They were so delicious and neither of us even ate half! Not hat we overindulged in chips and salsa; we still had half a basket left when our food arrived. As we sat and looked over the specials they have some good deals on margaritas and margarita pitchers and some rather interesting options.... a banana margarita? I am quite intrigued and if the everything else I experienced up until this point wasn't already bringing me back in, this drink would! When I went up to pay, our server was standing near the take out window, so I had to walk by the spacious bar. Las Margaritas really covers all the bases for seating/dining options! The menu is expansive with your typical Mexican offerings, then they have standard American options such as burgers, wraps, sandwiches and pastas. We looked over the dessert menu but we knew that wouldn't be happening, never enough room, ha. I feel like Las Margaritas may be a hidden gem. I definitely look forward to my next meal here when I'm in town again. Thanks Las Margaritas for the delicious dinner served by friendly and attentive staff in a comfortable setting! One of the best breakfast spots in town! Breakfast, you say? YES, breakfast! They serve a full breakfast menu (omelets, benedicts, skillets, pancakes, etc) in addition to a couple of Mexican selections, 7 days a week, 7-11 am.

I've driven by Las Margaritas daily, on my way to and from work, for several years, and I was very skeptical when a friend recently suggested meeting there for breakfast. It's a Mexican restaurant, after all, not a breakfast spot. Or so I thought. She swore they had great pancakes and actually served breakfast. Since my first visit a couple of months ago, it has become one of my favorite breakfast places in La Crosse. Their portions are very generous, their prices are amazing (less than $9 for a Florentine omelet!), and the food is homemade and quite delicious. Their omelets come with a choice of potatoes and toast or 2 large pancakes. The Florentine omelet has lots of fresh spinach and tomatoes, topped with homemade Hollandaise, which is then topped with a slice of Swiss cheese (ok, that is a little weird, and I now ask them to hold the cheese). The Mexican omelet is another great choice, made with a leaner chorizo, that is actually recognizable as meat, not paste. They make good hash browns, but I really like their American fries: chunky, diced potatoes fried with lots of onion and bell pepper. And my friend was right, they have very good pancakes! Add plentiful parking, clean restrooms and a friendly staff, and you can't go wrong.

My only knock on the place is that the coffee could be served hotter and the ambient music is very loud for mornings. As I sit waiting for my food, sipping my not-piping-hot coffee, the last thing I want is to hear blasting ballads above my head.

The only reason this place is not packed on weekend mornings is because, like me, people don't know Las Margaritas is actually a breakfast joint! So next time you're craving eggs or pancakes, hit this Mexican restaurant and you won't be disappointed.

For Wisconsin its pretty good Hispanic food. We have frequent this place a few times. We have had a few different dishes. All have been fairly good with the occasional over cooking oo the fajitas. Quick summary:
1) Food quality is pretty good over-all.
2) Portion sizes are capable of satisfying all but perhaps the very largest people (and probably can handle them too).
3) Service is usually adequate to good, with a mild let down occasionally.
4) Cost is very reasonable.

A bit more info:
Try their made in-house hot sauce! Nice. They also do breakfast now and... they serve 100% traditional American fare. So you can get your usual breakfast items. They do of course offer some Mexican themed breakfast items too. I would say breakfast is pretty much American fare with some Mexican options tossed in, and lunch/dinner turns it around. That is to say lunch/dinner is predominately Mexican offerings with some standard local style food also made available. That's good for those who just aren't into Mexican food but are with a group that is.

Breakfast is new there, so you can usually get right in. I'm sure that once more people discover this place for breakfast it will get busier because it's both good and reasonably priced. I hope it does catch on as I would hate to see them discontinue offering breakfast.

Fantastic Beautiful Restaurant. The staff is friendly and the orders come out of the kitchen quickly. It's also not expensive. I do recommend.
