I have had the pleasure of dining at Lazy Loon 3 times: Friday night fish special, lunch and a breakfast. With each visit the food and service has been spot on. It's notable that quality ingredients are used and care is taken with the food preparation. Menu items reflect creativity. Even today's breakfast was simply a notch above your typical breakfast spots. We love the north woods, but sometimes your typical bar food becomes monotonous. It's refreshing to have creatively prepared options made with higher quality ingredients.
We find Lazy Loon Lodge to be a genuinely friendly restaurant and we feel quite welcomed when eating there.

Definitely worth the stop. We were trail riding for the weekend and decided to stay the night here. Incredible food, the most hospitable owners and managers we’ve ever encountered, and everything you need for an overnight between riding the areas trails! We will definitely be coming back!

When I showed up to Lazy Loon Lodge with my three young kids, Dave switched my originally booked room to a larger one to accommodate us better. One of the nights we were there, he let my family and I sit at the bar (after the restaurant had closed) so that we could talk somewhere while our kids slept. The hospitality shown here is the best in Park Falls (we’ve stayed at the other hotels). 10/10 would stay here again!

Owner/chef Dave was super friendly as was the waitress. Food was fresh and delicious. We tried the farm market veggie charcuterie board, burger w onion jam, and a chicken wrap w farm market veggies. Everything was delicious! We will go back!

The restaurant was fantastic! All of the staff, from the owner to the chef to the waitress were impeccable and attentive to anything that was needed. The barista made delicious, hand-crafted espresso drinks to everyone’s liking. The crepes were the best I’ve ever had! It’s a must stop if you’re in the north woods!

Dave the owner, is a wonderful chef. You will be wondering why you waited so long to try this quaint little restaurant. My husband & I had the Salmon Lasagna & a salad prepared for us & it was amazing. You won't be disappointed.

Didn’t try the restaurant but motel is disappointing! Bed was hard, dead flies all over the floor. Room was hot and stuffy so I opened the window but big hole in the screen so I had to shut it. Walls thin as we heard neighbors coughing and dog yipping.🥲

Update .. 10/8/24
Came for the taco Tuesday and they were so delicious!! The three of us each tried a different kind. From the steak to the Ahi tuna the flavors were fantastic!!

My Mom and I stopped in to try out the dinners we've heard so much about. I skeptically chose the Catfish and Mom got the Salmon. Did NOT disappoint!! Both were flaky and seasoned to perfection ! Just loved the lemon sauce that accompanied the fish. The addition of the mandarin orange slices were perfect to cleanse the palate!!
Everyone was friendly and service was superb!!
Can't wait to take my husband here for his birthday dinner.
You are a welcome addition to the Northwoods!!

Super friendly staff! The food was amazing the coffee even better! Must try it with the home crafted lavendar syrup. Won't be disappointed. And if you want a small taste into true California this is the place. There are a few menu items that bring back the taste of home for me as that is where I am from. Amazing customer service, food and coffee!!!! Definitely try the Northwoods Maple latte!!! Made with Patterson Sugar Bush maple syrup AND maple sugar! A definite must hit up while in town or if you're a local, great place to go for breakfast!
