We had quite the looooonnnng experience there Saturday night. We visited after the Badger game and were pleasantly surprised on how quiet it was.
The things went downhill. We had to wait an extremely long time after a waitress walked past our table multiple times. Then a new waitress brought us drinks, took our order and then never returned. Then a third waitress came over and asked if we wanted cheese curds. She thanked went back to see about our order and found out it was never put in. Finally, our order came out wrong.
The food was actually really good or we were so hungry. Couldn’t tell the difference.
They knew we were upset so they bought our drinks and didn’t charge us for the curds. So at least they tried!

Sat outside today. No smoking so that was great. Food and service Great. Portions large. We both had BLTA and one had soup and the other tots. My wife has always loved their soups. The only reason for the 4 stars on atmosphere was because they are on Hwy 51 and it can get noisy.

A nice cozy neighborhood restaurant. So far all of the entrées have been well made in great portion sizes. The pricing is amazing compared to what you’re provided with. They offer a full bar and slot machine opportunities for those that are interested. There are other activities that occur weekly Like trivia. Overall, it is a very nice atmosphere, with great customer service and I have yet to have a pleasant experience visiting here. They also offer gluten-free buns upon request! I would definitely recommend this whether you’re stopping in for a personal visit or business related meals.

I went here last Friday and got the fish fry. My friend got a wrap and thought it was ok. My fish tasted a little funny and more fishy than I was used to. Turns out it was bad fish and I had the worst bout of food poisoning I’ve ever had the next day. I will never be returning and urge others to be weary of the fish.

I met some co workers for happy hour. This is a dive bar. The place is big yet very dark. I ordered food - you can’t go wrong with fried food. The apps were ok. The bartender was very nice and attentive given it was just him. After I left I guess cops showed up and someone was tased. I doubt I’ll go back.

The children had a 12" pepperoni pizza with a hand tossed crust. The toppings were sliding off! My wife had the portabella mushroom burger. It all looked delicious. I had the jalapeno cheese steak with tater tots. The tots were tasty. The sandwich was very generous as were the sides. The jalapeno flavor was very evident. Not overpowering, but good. There were a few other menu options that I look forward to trying. We will be going back. Our server, Jakob, was friendly and helpful.

Friendly and attentive waiter. We went here because my brother-in-law entertains clients a lot at restaurants, so he goes to a lot of restaurants and he recommended this place. We were not disappointed. We enjoyed our food very much. I had a wrap and I recommend it. Pizza is also excellent. The display case with the bobbleheads was impressively dusty. But that's an easy fix.

We have been there several times in the early weekday evenings. Had great service and food is always good. We came Saturday afternoon at 4:00 sat down we were there 5-7 minutes looking at the menu. A family with two kids came in and the waitress followed them to their table. They walked right pass us. She got their drink order walked pass us again put in their drink order on the pos and went to the bar to make their drinks. No words were said to us (my husband and myself). We got up and left, we won’t be back.

We were between flights at Dane County Regional Airport and were hungry. The Lazy Oaf was a short drive away, so we decided to try it. This is a fun, relaxing, jeans and a t-shirt kinda experience! If you've been craving a large, old-fashioned, juicy, made to order, delicious pub burger, look no further. Or try one of their tasty salads or brick-oven baked pizzas! I didn't have a chance to jump into their beer menu, but am looking forward to that on my next visit. Because there will be a next time for me, to just hang out, (maybe on their Friday night fish fry?) with a friendly, neighborhood crowd, chatting and laughing and maybe just being a little bit of happy in the inclusive atmosphere of the Lazy Oaf.
