If you are looking for a restaurant with great food and good service well Liberty House grill it is. My steak was cooked exactly how I wanted it and my wife was very pleased with her pasta. Our drinks were spot on. And I saw they offer free breakfast on Sundays. Cant beat that during these tough times. The whole staff was very welcoming and inviting. We really enjoyed our dinner without feeling rushed. Definitely our new spot, especially for special occasions.

Went to have dinner and I have to say I am very impressed with Liberty House grill. The prices are very reasonable for the portions you are served. I tend to be on the pickier side with food but my mix grill alla vodka pasta and cheese curds were so delicious!! No complains! My waitress was so friendly and attentive. Made sure we were taken care of the entire time. I have never been here before and I love the cozy/romantic atmosphere that is presented. Perfect for those who are looking for a nice date night. We were really looking forward to a nice evening out, but our experience was incredibly disappointing. After waiting over an hour for our food, my $50 steak was accidentally dropped before reaching the table. The server apologized and said a new one would be ready in a couple of minutes, and that our drinks would be comped.

Unfortunately, the replacement took more than 20 minutes. While my husband’s lobster sat getting cold. During that time, the server mentioned that the waitress who dropped the meal would “probably quit” and that a manager would adjust our bill. Another 20 minutes passed with no manager in sight, and we asked for to-go boxes because we were too frustrated to enjoy the meal.

When the bill finally came, nothing had been discounted or comped, despite the multiple assurances. In the end, we spent $160 on a meal we didn’t enjoy and wasted what was supposed to be a special night out. For a fine dining restaurant, this was an incredibly disappointing experience from start to finish.

A little pricey, but most of the time, you get what you pay for. Steaks are superbly tender and cooked medium rare perfectly. Ahi tuna appetizer was the best I've ever had (coast to coast). Shrimp cocktail l? Four, fist sized shrimp with a wonderful horseradish cocktail sauce.

Liberty House Grill is one of our go-to spots in Beloit, and it never disappoints! The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance of cozy and upscale—you feel like you’re treating yourself, but it’s still warm and inviting.

On our last visit, we were celebrating a big family milestone, and everything from the food to the drinks made the evening special. My daughters loved their steaks, my husband stuck with his classic chicken tenders (which were perfectly crisp and flavorful), and I had the short rib ravioli—absolutely delicious. The cocktails are also worth mentioning. My French 75 was fresh and bright, and the blackberry old fashioned was a hit.

The staff is always attentive without being overbearing, and you can tell they really care about creating a great experience. Liberty House Grill is definitely one of those restaurants you look forward to returning to—whether it’s a special occasion or just a night out.

LOVE this place!!!! Such a gorgeous atmosphere! My boyfriend came for the $1 oysters and ended up getting more to take home. I had the lobster ravioli with alla vodka sauce... AMAZING! I’ve been going by this place for a while now and never thought about stopping in till tonight. Truly not what I thought it was going to be. My expectations were blown away.
I expected an ale type house place that serves perhaps sandwiches, burgers, chicken, etc. But the liberty house is much more than that. I saw that as soon as I walked in.
The atmosphere is casual, which I enjoyed. Everything is a little cramped together. I know that right away when I sat at the bar; let’s say it’s cozy.
The menu is extensive from things such as steaks to lobster pasta to ribs to burgers. The menu is much more tensive and high-end than I thought it was going to be. Which was nice. But with those high-end foods comes along with high-end prices. Average entrée is $28. I would not come here weekly. I’d come here maybe every few months

Went with a few girlfriends on a Thursday night, Atmosphere is great. We ordered our food and a drink. Next thing you know, all of the food came out at once, so here we are, trying to eat our appetizers and our meal. I ordered the 8oz Fillet, baked potato, and loaded baked potato soup. The soup was just warm. The steak was not that great, definitely not $50 great! Oh, and I got 3 little scallops with my meal, no taste to them at all, then the bill came, and mine with tip was $110! The Liberty House Grill has a nice calming atmosphere. I love the nearly enclosed booths they have available where you feel like you are not eating with the table behind you. The bar and the wine cellar in the basement are lovely spaces as well. We started with the cheese curds. They were crunchy and delicious. My husband had the Liberty Burger, which was made of quality beef, topped with onion strings l, Jack cheese, and BBQ sauce accompanied by the parmasean truffle fries. This was a delicious burger. He is still raving about it. I had the Ribeye and Garlic Mashed Potatoes, which I thoroughly enjoyed. We left stuffed with no room for desert, maybe next time. Be sure to make a reservation and give it a try when you're in Beloit looking for a great date spot. We definitely will return.

Restaurant layout warm and modern. Ordered bang bang shrimp and was very good. Server put our food in all at once and it came out all at once. Surf and turf bisque lacked salt. My wife ordered shrimp and sausage pasta but they substituted chicken per her request. Sausage and chicken were very dry. Dish overall was overpriced for being not fresh pasta and not fresh ingredients. I ordered a New York strip with loaded mashed potatoes and added three shrimp for $14. The shrimp added were smaller than the bang bang we were given so not worth it and were very overcooked. Ordered steak medium rare but it came out more on the rare side and was tough. Loaded mashed potatoes were cold, congealed and with a super thick layer of cheese. Ordered a J Henry old fashioned from the bar and that was very good. Wisconsin style as expected. But the food and overall experience was way overpriced for the quality you receive.

From start to finish, the Liberty House Grill was a great place to dine, and it is staffed with wonderful people! We made reservations as recommended, especially for a Friday night. We were greeted by the hosts, and we confirmed our reservation. The bar area is clean and stylish as is the entire restaurant. We did not venture to the whiskey and wine cellar, but we can imagine it is also a great space. At the bar, Taylor was very attentive to her craft and was very pleasant. Although we did not partake in the specialty cocktails, we did enjoy the wine and Old Fashioneds! Once seated, Misty, our server, took very good care of us. We started with the perfectly seared tuna with a soy reduction and wasabi sauce. I ordered the grilled snapper with shrimp and the Cajun flavored sauce. Both were amazing, and the sauce really added flavor without overwhelming the food. My wife had the pan seared scallops served with artichoke and tomato accompanied by baby bakers (fingerling potatoes). That was also excellent. Small and cute restaurant with some amazing food. Very attentive to dietary restrictions like gluten free although the options are limited to what is on the menu. Had the pasta brisket ravioli and 10/10 recommend as well as the lamb lollipops. Even the gravy sauce we were told was gluten free. The waitress was the nicest. Having gambling machines in a high-end restaurant isn't classy. (We sat on the lower level.)
The soup and salad were tasty. However, the main entrée, chicken marsala, was gross. The chicken was low quality, and the gravy was as if sugar was added. My dear friend agreed after sampling my dish. Her prime rib was grizzly, but she knew that prior to ordering, we asked the ppl next to us.
The waitress was attentive, hospitable, and friend. Hence, the 5 star rating.

We came early and were told inside was fully booked until 8pm. We ended up being the only party on the patio, had slow service and when we were done noticed the entire inside was only half full. We asked several times throughout the dinner if we could move inside but each time was told it was completely full.

Would not recommend the chicken picatta - the chicken was not fresh at all and tasted microwaved.
Would not recommend the lamb chops - $39 for barely any meat and no vegetables served with it.

The restaurant is a very nice place. the food was very good. My sister ordered the chicken marsala, and it was very rich with butter. If you like lots of butter you should like the dish. I had the fish fry and it was very, very good. Came with great Truffle fries, coleslaw and a good sized bowl of EXCELLENT clam chowder soup...really, the best I've ever had. This place is definitely somewhere I’d recommend everyone try.

The inside is not for an introvert however. Super loud and not so spacious. Tables are pretty close together.

The food however is awesome.

The mix grill alla vodka is by far my favorite. Plenty of shrimp, steak and chicken!

The lobster ravioli was good, the portion was surprisingly small compared to our other two dishes. Maybe 5 or 6 actual raviolis. Lots of sauce.

The mussels were also pretty good! Super creamy & garlicky which I think is on purpose to help mask the salt water flavor.

The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable of the menu…once you’re actually seated. When you walk in the front door and are waiting for a host, absolutely no one acknowledges you, not even a smile or head nod even though they all look at you as they walk by.

Overall a good experience and the mix grill alla vodka will definitely have me ordering again.

Update 8/30:

I ordered last night at 7, two hours before close for pickup. Half rack of ribs sauce on side, mashed potatoes and side salad.

Side salad had just lettuce and cheese , potatoes were cold, not room temp, cold. Ribs did not have sauce on side, were mostly bone and just tasted extremely bland.

Second time in. Just my wife and I. Called 45 minutes before and were able to get a table for two. My wife enjoyed a summer cucumber cocktail while I had my first smoked whiskey old fashioned. Food was good but the staff kept looking at me like I was a bug that they wanted to smash, don't know why I am a very clean person and was dressed in nice tshirt and camo shorts. Felt very uncomfortable don't mind if you take a quick look at me but don't stare at me while I'm eating. Think if want something from here in the future I'll order it out. Or just go somewhere else.

Took my wife here for dinner 5/12/23. Food tasted great and was out very quickly for how busy they were. Our server was excellent, prompt, and very polite. We are very picky about the places we spend our money for a good place to eat, and this place was worth the money. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good meal and good supper club experience.

Went here @ Christmas for a dine in and it was pretty amazing. Called yesterday for takeout and was less than impressed. The Girl on the phone didn't seem to know what was going on... then the hostess (probably the same girl) had an attitude about getting change. Then I got home to a raw burger and the wrong shrimp order. Ordered and paid for the shrimp dinner.... but received the shrimp appetizer. Will not be returning.

Great find! Nice little place with great ambiance and wonderful service and good was really good. From the unique way they do cheese curds, ribs, lobster pasta and chicken marsala... They all were done really well and very flavorful. Smoked Old fashioned was done really well and tasted great too. Only personal suggestion would to add other types of desserts on the menu.. all were cakes and we're not much for cake. I was hoping for a creme brulee. We'll be back to check out the whiskey and wine cellar and the patio in the summer!

I was in the area visiting family and stopped at Liberty House Grill to get some food. I base my experience on two important factors: Customer service and food quality. Customer service was fast and great, the staff was super friendly and welcoming. They recommended the New York Strip steak, and it was amazing! We ordered appetizers and everything came out quick and efficient. We will be back.

The food was fabulous!! We had 6 people in our party and everyone loved what they ordered! The Lambshank was tender and delicious, and the Braised Short Rib Ravioli was amazing it had a great kick with the Chipotle Cream Sauce. The hand-battered cheese curbs were some of the best I've ever had! Most definitely will go again!

2/18/23, 6pm reservations for 7. Made the reservation over a month.added the 7th person two weeks ahead. They said they only had 6 chairs, even though they had plenty of chairs in an area that wasn't being used. One person had to sit in a covered tiny chair. Prime Rib on special, one person ordered medium rare. The prime rib was delivered well done. Took forever for the waitress to return. When everyone was almost finished, the waitress returned. Person told her the prime rib was over cooked. Waitress returned only to say they were out of medium rare, they had so may orders, like the person was just supposed to accept it. Told the waitress to take it back and because everyone else was finished eating to just take it off the bill. Then a manager came and had the audacity to ask if the person wanted dessert! Seriously, dessert to make up for over cooked prime rib 😅 we had to ask extra times for water. The service was not good! Then after we finished eating and asked for our checks, the waitress said oh, I forgot to tell you we added in a gratuity!! WHAT??? oh she said we do that for parties of 6 or more. 20% WTH!
We were couples who ordered separately and 1 extra person. The service and food were unacceptable not a lone a $60 tip!! Are you kidding me! Never again. The night was ruined for us. This was our family Valentine's dinner!

We sat at the bar for dinner because we didn’t have a reservation (our fault, it was a Saturday evening) and the bartender, Brian, was very friendly and provided great service and all while being very busy! The experience was great, except that there was staff acting a bit immature. They need to be working as if that place was theirs. Great food! We had Broiled Cod, and Chicken Marsala. Excellent! The seasoned staff was wonderful and very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly!

Go downstairs! It is a cozy atmosphere with exciting service and a full menu. Brian is the most entertaining and attentive barkeep we've had the pleasure to be served by. The food was excellent and the service was beyond expectations. They should consider hiring Chase to assist when times are busy.

OMG THE BANG BANG SHRIMP!!!! I give this place a 10/10 I’ve dined here more than 10 times and each time was amazing. The food never disappoints! The lady bartender in the lower level makes the best lemon drop martinis in the city!!

Loved every bit of our experience! Took a chance and chose here for my birthday dinner. Reviews we had read beforehand were definitely mixed, but I also knew that many were reviews on the restaurant before it changed ownership over the recent years. 5/5 would go back again! The chicken piccata was excellent, chicken tender, portion generous and flavor on point. Husband had the smothered chicken and enjoyed that as well. Mentioned it was my birthday and they give the strawberry shortcake free for celebrations. Next time we'll make a reservation, especially if we are dining after 5:00. We didn't have to wait to get it, but we were there before 5:00. Highly recommend for a relaxing dinner experience.

Make a reservation!!! My partner and I couldn't get through to make a reservation on a Saturday night so we thought we'd wing it and go to the restaurant and wait for a table if necessary. Well, we waited at the bar for over an hour and never got seated. I think the host staff may have forgotten about us, too, and I'm not sure they even ever put us on their wait-list. Had a delicious whiskey Old Fashioned, but sad we never got to try the food. Maybe we'll try again one day.

8 of us went this Saturday for my 55th birthday. They open at 4:00 and we had 6:30 reservations. Already out of ribs ( that was what I was looking forward to) and out of soup. They also didn’t have one of the ingredients to make an appletini. We also had my 1 year old granddaughters with us and they only have 2 high chairs so we had to wait for the second one. All in all not a great night!

I normally don’t leave reviews but this restaurant deserves recognition. First off, the service was on point. I wish I could remember our waitresses name but she was awesome! She was there literally 2 minutes after we sat down and we promptly got our drinks. She checked on us regularly throughout our meal and there was always someone to take our dirty plates and such off the table as we ate.
Second, the food.. Amazing! We got the bang bang shrimp appetizer. 4 Tempura battered huge shrimp and a sauce to die for. Yummmmm…
My fiancée got the prime rib and a lobster tail add on. Both were super tender and delicious. The horseradish cream sauce was so good.
I got the lobster ravioli with alla vodka sauce. I can’t praise this dish enough! Just wow. We both couldn’t stop eating it lol
Then for dessert a house made strawberry shortcake.. perfect end to a perfect meal. We will be going back very soon!

We now have a new "Go To " Restaurant in Beloit.I had the sea food platter with mussels, shrimp, calamari complete with linguini with choice of white or red sauce. I chose the white and wasn't disappointed,for besides being delicious, it came"Piping Hot".My wife ordered Baked Ziti which also came Hot right out of the kitchen and she enjoyed it immensely. The sides included a wonderful salad and garlic bread. The portion sizes required a doggie bag for my wife and my wife intimated to the waitress that it was my birthday and the waitress brought out a large slice of strawberry/vanilla cake which I found out "was on the house "She later told me she had a choice between that and cheesecake and her being an aficionado and not wanting the extra calories chose the lesser evil,but not before a taste of this wonderful cake.The service was excellent which always enhances the experience. We'll try to make this a weekly endeavor.

Best dine in place I’ve been to so far in Beloit. All the staff was nice, polite, and pleasant. I didn’t feel rushed to order and we had lots of questions and our waitress was very patient and did not appear annoyed with us at all. I ordered the ribs and when I tell you they were flavorful, tender to the point they literally fell off the bones. I was very pleased. My daughter ordered the spicy shrimp and sausage pasta and that was delicious as well. Just enough spice. Will be returning here. And all the staff I saw was pretty young, but they were the best group of young people I have encountered in a very long time. Thank you all for the great service 🥰
