The Food was horrible. When we walked in the door I could smell heavy rancid oil in the air and that is what the hashbrowns tasted like. My wife and I each took one bite of ours and couldn't eat any more of them. I would eat here again if the food was free. When we left our clothes smelled of the oil in the air.

My egg whites were undercooked. I told the waitress. She said ok. As I finished my breakfast, she came by with the bill. I asked her what she was going to do about the eggs. She looked confused, then she asked if I would like her to have the kitchen remake the eggs. I looked at her and asked if that was my bill and she said yes. I asked if the eggs were on the bill. She said yes. I asked her if she felt I should pay for something I couldn't eat? Then she rolled her eyes at me and said she would take them off. Worst waitress I have ever seen. Would rather stand around and talk then make sure the customers are taken care of. I had her before, and she stood at another customers table after taking my order, and talked to them the whole time I was there. Another waitress took care of me while she goofed off. I will leave if I ever get her for a waitress again.

Recently went and had breakfast, husband ordered coffee and OJ
I ordered an OJ.....2 OJs came out along with 2 cups of coffee....ok whatever
We watched as many tables were seated after us, they got drinks and food orders were taken....we waited over 30min from drinks to someone taking our order....I was ready to walk out...someone finally took our order and when it came out hubby's breakfast was supposed to be a half order they gave him a full order, my breakfast came out completely wrong omlett, toast was burnt 1 of 2, by the time anyone came back to check on us they were brining the check, like hey this isnt what I ordered...at this point it had been 1.5hours for breakfast....they took just the omlett of our bill she didnt even let me finish telling her about the other issue, bill included 2 coffees and everything else. I paid the bill and left....its honestly going to be a while before I give them another chance....if ever....terrible service food was awful
Noise in the restaurant was also unpleasant a baby screaming the entire time, and some entitled Karen bringing her dog in...not listed as a service dog. Neither of these 2 things were the restaurants fault, but perhaps putting up a sign to leave your furry friends outside....

Thought food would be awesome for how crowded the place was. Ordered cheese curds, taco salad and my sister ordered medium rare cheese burger and fries. Got cheese curds and they were not deep fried all the way. They very nicely remade new order but that one was not cooked enough either. Got my taco salad and meat was over cooked and had cooked green peppers in it. Also never had taco salad with spinach mixed with lettuce. Sister got the cheese burger but the fried it well done. Only thing that actually tasted good were the fries.

This was a very pleasant surprise. One of the best fish tacos I’ve had since moving from San Diego. My wife loved the carrot cake pancakes. Not overly sweet, but full of flavor. We will definitely make this a go-to spot when we come to Minocqua.

Everything was very clean. You know what they say, “Clean bathrooms = clean kitchen.” You can tell they take care of their restaurant.

Busy Memorial Day crowd and I overheard a staff member say they were down one person. We got a table in a few minutes, but still needed to wait for the waitress and then our food. No complaints about that, it was busy and I always expect service to be slow these days.

Today was our first time visiting Lida's in Minocqua, and we'll definitely be returning. We were greeted at the door by Lida herself and seated immediately. She is very friendly and welcoming. Our server was very nice, attentive, and kind. The restaurant is lovely and modern, live edge counter seating, comfy booths, and nice tables. The food was delicious and exactly as ordered. Our group ordered both breakfast (biscuits & gravy) and lunch (BLT, cheeseburger, and veggie sandwich with avocado). We were pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the prices were and the range of choices for both breakfast and lunch. Highly recommend.

We were served 1 glass of water by the busser, in the 15 minutes we waited the server served another table drinks, refilled a drink for the table next to us, was more than 3 ft away from our table when saying “I’ll be right back for you guys”. The food is cheap, frozen, bad quality & the cooks are not properly trained in sanitation, or food safety.

The hash browns were delicious with onion added and I am so thrilled I had pancakes rather than toast as they were FANTASTIC...light and fluffy with a wonderful flavor. Went to Lidas for a late lunch and had a tremendous experience. I believe Sheila was our server and she couldn’t have been friendlier which always makes an experience that much better. Opted for the Hangover Burger as I had hoped they had a Patty Melt to no avail. No biggie though because the Hangover Burger was excellent. The fries were delish and the pickles were crisp. Couldn’t have asked for a better stop before the busy holiday week. Also they had just opened their patio for the first time since being opened which was shaded and looked to add a little more space to the establishment. Definitely will be back!

This is a wonderful addition to the Northwoods dining options. The prices are fair, the portions are generous, and the selections are vast. If you’re looking for a wonderful breakfast or lunch, this place is would be highly recommended.
The spot is clean, the decor is cute, but not over the top for Northwoods. The servers were very friendly and the food came quickly for the amount of people in the restaurant at the time we chose to have breakfast. It was cooler weather when we were there, but there is a spot for outdoor dining and we’re excited to opportunity to try that later this year .

The food we ordered was good, and the service was good as well, despite the restaurant being packed.
I ordered fresh squeezed OJ and was charged $2 more than the price that was on my menu. The owner mentioned ordering new menus with updated prices but they hadn’t arrived yet. Had I known my OJ was $6, I’d have skipped it. She offered to refund the $2 but in the end only refunded $1.
It’s minor, but for the sake of customer service, when your menu says one thing you shouldn’t charge something else.
We were also charged for an item we didn’t receive and that was refunded.
Was it a big deal? No. Would I go back? Probably not.
