The local movie theater causes lots of underage people to come and attempt to get drinks underage. As someone from out of state who’s in my mid 20’s it was funny to get carded so hard. They take liquor laws serious here. Good food and drinks (they barely let us have ours!) ID’d by the server and the manager/bartender.

I had a big back order that I made online.

On the website it said they have 1 dollar taco tuesdays so that's what i ordered. 2 orders of 10 steak tacos, 5 al pastor and 5 lengua tacos and 3 sides of fries. So 30 tacos total. I made the order around 1:30pm.

Waited about 20 minutes, went in and they didnt have it ready. They were actually surprised they had an online order and had to check my receipt. Said 8 minutes

Went home and my fault for not checking the bag but they only gave me 6 tacos, 4 steak and 1 pastor and 1 lengua. Had to go back and show them the receipt a second time. They werent even aware of the 1 dollar taco tuesdays and had to call their boss. Boss confirmed and waited another 15 minutes.

I give the service a 1 star because they werent on top of things and didnt even know about what deals they had even though it is not anything new. They didnt have my order ready within 15 minutes like claimed, they actually forgot and had to make it when i got there and then didnt make the right amount even after double and triple checking the order so more waiting.

Food itself was ok, 2 stars. Yes you get what you pay for i guess but as far as taste, it wasnt flavored well. Lack of seasoning and for some reason it tasted bitter, idk if it was the cilantro or the tortilla but there was some bitterness that kind of overpowered already the very lightly seasoned meat. If i had to rank, pastor 3/5, steak 2/5, lengua 1/5 which is disappointing because i ate the lengua by itself and it tasted like there was zero seasoning and lengua is usually just as good or better than steak when cooked correctly.

Atmosphere 3 star because the restaurant looks pretty nice and there was a nice vibe and the people at the counter wasnt being pushy but more just i guess ignorant of their own product but at least they didnt throw an attitude. I wasnt upset myself or mad at them, i just wanted what i ordered.

So all in all, it was an ok experience but id probably look elsewhere next time

Waitress was not very friendly and never refilled my drink which I sucked down after getting some rancid red sauce. The beans and rice were barely warm. Got sick on the sauce and ran to restroom. I told the waitress and all she said was that it was hot. I said I love spice but the sauce was bad. She just walked away. I see why this place was nearly empty. My stomach is still turning.

We went for the buffet. Arrived at 1:30 buffet runs til 3pm. Most of the food was dry. Asked for corn tortilla and they brought out hard shells. Plates were dirty. We were there and hr im a slow eater, no ever came out to look at the buffet to stir or restock missing food. Was very disappointed

I almost don't want to share because I don't want people to start flocking there haha. But honestly, they're amazing. $1 Tacos on Tuesday, and they are better than most tacos in the area. Staff is great, and there's a small Spanish market next door that's fun to shop. Nothing but love to this place. Make sure to tip your waitress and cooks well, for a $1 a taco - you can afford it 😁

Went to the supermarket and bought 3.5 lbs worth of skirt steak. What I didn’t realize is until I got home and as I was about to start prepping the meat I noticed it was a brownish color. I grabbed the bag with the rest of the meat and the smell was terrible. Thankfully, they did give a refund for the money spent, but come on guys. You’re one of the only Mexican markets local to the area you can do better than this. Standards shouldn’t be too hard to follow. Fresh meat means fresh meat. Disappointed yet again.

Great food and the restaurant is nice, no complaints there! But I ordered for pickup and they forgot some items in my order. I got home, noticed, and called. I asked for those items to just be refunded, but they said that wasn’t possible, which is fair. And they offered to write a note to give me the forgotten items for free next time, or I could come back to pick it up. Neither bad options, but also neither option was good. Ultimately, not a big deal at all! I just think if I’m being inconvenienced, throw me a free horchata or something at the very least.

I used to eat here weekly and it was my favorite restaurant in the valley but this place has gone severely downhill since the "remodel". The quality of the food is noticeably worse and the service is horrible now. A year ago I recommended this place to everyone, now I tell them to stay away. Even if you try to call to place an order it doesn't matter because they won't answer their phone anyway.

One star due to poor customer service and lack of meat in burrito. I tried to pay with my gift card. The waitress ran it thru the cash register/ credit card reader and said it wasn't working. I said it's never been used and had $25 on it. I knew it was never ever used. So after a few minutes, she said something about the manager, and then my gift card magically worked. The waitress was not very customer friendly thru the whole meal. The look she gave was ridiculous, but we tipped her well anyway. I won't be going back. The food was ok, kinda pricey for what you get. $3 to add a tiny bit of queso on my burrito??? Oh and found a big piece of bone in my Carnitas (see picture)when I ate my leftovers. Sadly, I wanted to have a good dining experience with my friend, however, this was not it!!!

Had a great experience with Lindo this past weekend. We were moving and completely forgot to think about how to feed a crew of 25 who were helping us. Called Lindo in the afternoon and they had a feast for us ready at 5pm for pickup. It was reasonably priced, the food was good, and everyone was happy. I will say communication was a bit harder and I had to wait a bit when picking up, but because of the great service and help last minute it was not a big deal at all.

This was delivery order. It was fast door dash. When I looked at menu. I order wrong I had 3 flour taco only problem no meat just beans rice fresh veggies. My fault I thought I ordered beef. I did same thing for enchiladas only ordered cheese. But taco salad looked very good I tried bit of chicken it was very dry. But everything else FRESH. They are a pricey. Disappointed and annoyed! I was very excited that they served tamales but when it came out it was the wrong tamale I ordered, it was bland and barely warm. The waitress never came back to check on us so I couldn't have her correct it. We also ordered the sope with al pastor which tasted like it was burnt then heated over and over again. The quesobirria Raman platter came out with burnt tacos and the Raman had way too much seasoning it wasn't edible.
On top of that the place was dirty, random hooks just laying on the floor with 2 Wait staff just sitting on their phones and only another couple present.
I would have said something but it wasn't worth my time sitting there waiting for them to do their job. I had to go up and ask for a container for the queso since that was the only thing they had going for them. Even after that the waitress didn't get the hint to bring us our check.

The food is good but the service is Lousy.
Orders are never ready when they are supposed to be and they love to use the excuse "the order just came in" no no it didn't. If your system is 15 mins behind, you have a big problem. There's no way it takes 15 mins for your orders to show up regularly. More likely this is your go to excuse when your kitchen staff isn't paying attention. Idk how orders are never ready when I always come when it's slow. Now my buddy's isn't ready. So this is an issue they need to fix.
Customers picking up orders should be JUST as important as those dining in.

Don't be surprised if you get slow service 🤷🏻‍♂️ that's my experience here.

Lindo Mexican Restaurant in Appleton is absolutely fantastic! Felt welcomed by the friendly staff right away. The food is incredible—everything tastes so fresh and flavorful. Tried the nachos and authentic tacos, and both were amazing.

We love Lino Michoacán! First their food is great. One of our favorite meals is the birria taco platter. So good. We have ordered many different meals and none have ever been bad. The portions are large. I usually eat everything on my plate not because the portions are small but because the food is that good. The service has always been great. When our kids our home from college their first request is to go out to Lino! Highly recommend!

It's a big disappointment to find out that several customers complained about the unfriendly, rude service. My friend is a chef from the south so when I heard that fresh corn tortillas are available here, that was one restaurant I had on the places to go. Hope the owners take consideration of this, the food can be good, even great but if the service is poor, rude and slow...is not appealing.
Mexican food has such a big variety of combinations, wonderful flavors, traditional dishes, is rich and comforting.
Carnitas from Michoacan are famous.!

I'm in town for work from Chicago and was craving some tacos. I ordered 5 tacos, 2 steak, 2 al pastor and 1 lengua. The lengua was the best of the 3 which is not really a compliment because even the worst tacos joints cant efff up steak tacos, well I was wrong. The al pastor was probably the worst I've ever had and I've eaten a ton of them in many states and in Mexico, so dry and no taste whatsoever, I thought I was going to choke from how dry they were. Here comes the shocker, the steak. Not sure how old it was but it was just as bad, dry, no seasoning, dark which means it had been reheated multiple times. Steak should be tender, juicy, bursting with flavor, this was horrible. A detail that not many would notice but I did was that the cilantro was not chopped at all, they had the whole cilantro leaves in the tacos and same with the onions, long chunks and pieces, to me that shows laziness and not caring about their quality. My suggestion for you, get your tacos right, its like Mexican restaurant 101. The salsas were good, Ill give them a positive there. Btw my family is from Michoacan, all of Michoacan would be disappointed in your food. First and last time at this place.

Ordered a very large curbside order, yet the girl refused to bring out when called to check-in. She informed us "they don't do curbside" even though the website allows us to select curbside. So, we went in to pick up, This girl was rude and sadly, we realized on the drive and at home, our entire food order was trashed because it was bagged as rudely as the girl was. The sides containers piled high in one bag, many open and poured out, the other bags with entrees were also totaled, two were smashed due to a heavy entree being placed on top of smaller ones. The rest is questionable, not even going to try to salvage it. Being treated like this is not worth our time or money. Terrible!
BTW.. This is NOT the norm for this restaurant. Never had an issue or problem prior. It's sad that one person can ruin everything due to careless attitude.

I am extremely upset, I ate here earlier in the month and left a 10 dollar tip on 40 dollar purchase. They charged it a few days later, and two weeks later they tried to charge me again. I called my bank and apparently someone at this restaurant kept my card info and manually entered it. So now I have to have a new card sent to me and deal with that inconvenience. After using their online ordering system, I received a confirmation email saying my order was accepted. The email said my order would be ready in 15 minutes. I waited 20 minutes and it's about 5-10 minutes from my house. When I showed up I asked the first employee I saw if my order was ready, she walked by and said nothing to me. She came back out of the kitchen and tried to take my order. I told her I ordered online, I showed her my conformation email and she tried to take my order again, I asked if my food was ready or not? She asked me if I was a delivery driver, I said no. I then told her to cancel my order and refund my money. Later on in the day I noticed that I was charged for the order I never received. I called and asked them if I could get a refund and they hung up on me.

First time coming here. We wanted to try a new place. The service was really bad and the food was just alright. I wish I would have read the reviews before coming here because most of the complaints are the same. The service is bad and you could go somewhere else in Appleton for better Mexican food and a better experience. I wouldn’t come back here. The other reviews on poor service are very accurate.

When we got there most of the tables were still filled with dishes. When left an hour later almost all of those tables were still unclean. The waitress came to take our drinks & our orders, and she dropped off the orders and never came back. The bartender was helping our waitress take care of tables and everything seemed crazy hectic.

We never were given silverware or had our drinks refilled. I had to go up to the bar to ask for to-go boxes and silverware to put my food in the box. When the waitress brought over the boxes and I asked for the bill she told me I would have to go get it from the bar—which I never would have known because she never came back. When I had went up there to talk to her it looked like she was just busy hitting on someone at the bar while she rolled silverware. So she wasn’t that busy.

My chicken tacos were okay but I wish I would have been given more than one lime slice. My partner had steak tacos and the meat was super dry.

Got charged for the whole bill even though it gave me very bad food poisoning and I try calling but the number does not work... I ate the chimi with cheese sauce and a Margareta and it did not mix well at all and I had a good server but bad food on my end, my gf had a good quesada at least

Lugares cómo este deben ser pilares de la comunidad hispana 🇲🇽 en pueblos americanos 🇺🇸 como hay tan pocos lugares donde podemos convivir y conseguir los productos que consumimos en diario y que encontramos en nuestros países. Si vas a Chicago o Milwaukee encuentras estos productos a precios normales y económicos un paquete de tortillas te sale a $1.99 aquí. Lugares como este existen para sacarle dinero a la comunidad que no tiene para regalar. Y no pueden decir que les cuesta transportarlo si las tortillas cuestan $.68 en Woodman’s. Así como las tortillas cada otro producto cuesta cantidades astronómicos, chicharrones a $16 la bolsa, alcohol ni lo digas la arrachera a $13 la libra. La comida en el restaurante no era nada especial tampoco muy tardado el servicio y la comida llega a muy baja temperatura y seca.
Su única salvación es que actualmente tienen las coses que uno necesita y cual otra opción tenemos? Pero como lo saben.

Places like this should be pillars of the Hispanic community 🇲🇽 in American towns 🇺🇸 as there are so few places where we can live together and get the products that we consume on a daily basis and that we find in our countries. The food is horrible‼️‼️ The Carne asada, no bueno. It had this stew like texture. Definitely nothing like back home (San Diego). If you're looking for a great drink, I do recommend their michelada's. Good luck with your pocket and your stomach if you do decide to eat at this place.

Not impressed. First time there for my Mom's birthday. Waited about 5 mins for the waitress. Almost 10 mins for our drinks. Food took almost another 20 mins to come. Had to ask for refills several times before we actually got them. Food itself was ok but I don't think it was worth to price. Definitely had better at other places. We had a group of six with 3 separate checks and they put a gratuity on all our separate checks! Kinda ridiculous
