The sandwich is big enough to eat twice. You can’t beat a quality handmade Sammy for this price.

Did not like the way I was treated whatsoever. I used to be a loyal customer but not anymore. In my opinion When a sign says close, that’s when the store should close not beforehand. I got there at 2:40 and they treated me as if I was a burden because I came so late or so close to closing time. I really liked Lindy’s, but thankfully, there were other sub shops.

We had business in La Crosse over 2 days time and this restaurant was closeby. Being from Chicago, we are used to great sub places. The sandwich ingredients were very fresh, there just wasn't a lot of anything. I think on 2 regular turkey subs, there were 4 slices of cheese, and maybe 3 slices of meat- 4 at the most, very thin. The bread looked great, but had the soft, yukky texture of a hamburger bun, rather than the crisp, flaky texture we are used to in Chicago. Three sandwiches cost us just over $30. We were all hungry about 2 1/2 hours later. Nice clean restaurant. Friendly staff.

I am sad.

I am totally in love with this place and their subs.
They are honestly the best subs out of all sub shops. They create the sub you want and what you want in it.
They also have the Ultimate Beer Cheese soup. You can get it in a bowl or a fresh bread bowl. We are Wisconsin, and they do have the greatest Beer Cheese.
Everyone must check this place out. You will not be disappointed.

We ordered combo sub, salad and small sub to go. When we received our order and look into the bag there was no combo. There was no receipt, no chips no beverage cup. Good that we checked before stepping out of the door. Because nobody even mentioned that we supposed to pick it up on our own. Food was plane and not tasty. Sandwiches didn’t have any paper wrapping. They were just wrapped into the tangled web of plastic wrap like at the gas station. They must of cutting cost on nice paper wrapping. It is not just not presentable but when you try to unwrap all this tight plastic, the sandwich was falling apart in your hands. All that was $ 30. We were regretting by not going to Subway. It for sure would be more satisfying.

Great subs, lots of combinations. Cheese is okay as long as you don't order the american cheese. Meat isn't bad quality, veggies are usually fresh when I go.
My only suggestion for them would be to toss out ALL of the American cheese. I didn't think it would the processed cheese singles when I ordered. It doesn't taste good, can really ruin a good sub.

I really enjoy getting the Uncle Lindy sub; it's my favorite. Tonight, I got my usual but the sub tasted of onions. I strongly dislike onions and the whole sub had a weird lingering onion flavor. I'm not sure if maybe gloves weren't changed or a knife to cut the onions was used to cut another topping, but the onion flavor was all over my sub. Otherwise, I've never had complaints about my subs before.

The service is great and quick though, so I'll return again. The online ordering system is convenient too!

They've so many ingredients to customize your sandwich, wrap or salad. Plus a good amount of sides & drinks to complement your entree. Rarely ever had a issue with a order & when I did, they took care of it. I'm not the most fond of the white & wheat bread but the Italian sliced & rye bread are pretty good. When I have time to step out for a quick lunch, Lindy's is one of my go to spots in La Crosse. Lots of healthy, hearty, delicious sandwich options that are ready in a few minutes. I really enjoy having the option of a nice cup of soup or potato salad as a side. Their red skinned potato salad is outstanding!

The only knock on Lindy's is it can be a little spendy for a sandwich lunch but that hasn't stopped me from coming back!

Wendy's is a great place to hit if you want a salad. I say this because they sell salads. The subs are pretty decent, but really you probably want to go for the salads. Have I mentioned that they sell salads? Most often it is a bed of lettuce or spinach with a bunch of other vegetables and sometimes some dressings. There's occasionally meat, I even found an egg once!
