It's black restaurant week and we are super excited to try you guys. Terrance was lovely from the beginning to the end and his vibe was just very welcoming even though we were super underdressed for this place.
The bartender however, is trying to rush to clock out or something cause slamming my drink and taking it away BEFORE asking if I was done with it.
Pioneer shrimp was the MOST impressive dish tonight, shrimp was well cooked and not rubbery at all!
Everything else was good 👍.
Rum Haven will now be my favorite rum for my mojito ✨️.
Anyway, peace ✌️ would come back!

The 5 star reviews for brunch are more proof midwesterners dont know good food on average.

A friend and I had the BEST time at Links! The view and aesthetics were top tier; and I loved the touch with the black golf balls incorporated into the decor. Our server Allison took fantastic care of us, and the owner gave us a personal tour and made sure our food was perfect. The food was 🔥🔥🔥 and we will definitely be back, many times. Brunch will be on the agenda the next time! This will be THE spot to be, from open to close. Bravo!

Felt pretty low quality. Small portions and extra charges for a side of hidden valley ranch? Not sure why you would charge for a side of ranch when it’s coming from a bottle?

The loaded fries app had the ball park nacho cheese and pulled pork that just wasn’t good.

On visit one I had the catfish risotto and my date had links skillet and we were both impressed by our man’s. The catfish was perfectly seasoned and the skillet was really tasty.

We’ve been back since and hv really been impressed by the service. The bartenders hv been really attentive and helpful.

From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was inviting, modern, and relaxing which was perfect for a weekend brunch. I ordered the Catfish & Risotto and it blew me away. The catfish was perfectly crispy without being heavy, and the risotto was creamy, flavorful, and topped with fresh parmesan. Everything was clearly made with care and attention to detail.

The drink menu is just as impressive. I had an Old Fashioned that was one of the best I’ve had anywhere. Service was friendly and attentive without feeling rushed, and the overall vibe made it feel like a special experience without being pretentious.

If you’re looking for a place that balances quality, creativity, and great service, Links is it. I’m already planning my next visit!

A group of us met up last night for happy hour. The food was great, the cocktails were on point and our server was lovely. We are so happy Links has opened in that space and we will be back next week…husband loved his steak frites but woke up this morning wanting another pizza and to try the fish & chips.

Update: Another great experience, lava cake was decadent and full of flavor. Moe & Co. make exceptional libations at the bar 😬

2nd update: I gotta keep doing this because it keeps being super good! Terrence, our server last night, was phenomenal. There were 8 of us—and we are very nice people—but we arrived at different times and were all eating and drinking different stuff and he never batted an eye. We wanted for nothing! We will just have to keep coming back I guess.

From the moment I walked in I felt my shoulders relax. Even though it is only my second time visiting, it felt like I had been there for years. I went to the bar and Molly was so welcoming and inviting. It didn’t feel forced, it felt like her. The espresso martini she made me was so smooth!! When I paid, they thanked me by name (and pronounced it correctly!!) Kaylen was our server and she was great, again bringing in her personality and letting us vibe was an awesome feeling. It felt like we were guests in their home.

The food…THE FOOD!! Each meal had its own combination of flavors and experiences. We had the Caesar Brussel sprouts, the special of salmon with mashed potatoes and masala sauce, chicken wings, shrimp appetizer and chocolate cake. And each of them left us with a different feeling and yet they all complimented each other. The Chef did their thing!! I’m excited to come back for brunch!!

I have been to a lot of restaurants in Madison and this is one of my favorites. First the service is phenomenal all three time I have been here. Their Spanish rice with peppers, onions, and olives is to die for, the best rice in Madison. Allison and Mo are amazing and attentive. The view is spectacular and the menu changes every 90 days! This is definitely not a 4.9 star eatery. Place was empty. Cool looking. Ordered one slice of sausage "pizza". Well, not really pizza, but a very hard/crunchy, clearly overbaked pita bread, with a sprinkle of cheese, barely red sause, and bratwurst sausage slices on top. It tasted good enough for 5 bucks. I asked the pleasant server if this is their normal pizza. She was kindly honest and admitted it was not, that it might have been over-baked. She kindly offered to get me a small, one-person pizza with softer crust, "in a to-go" (was I being rushed out??). I declined. I ate mostly the softer ingredients and left the hard crust out. I also requested a juice in a glass, NO ICE, (after she asked me if I wanted any or not), but still got ice (wow, I suppose they are not allowed to serve a small glass of canned juice full). I will not return. But appreciate the effort of the kind server.

Greetings from the culinary desert of the far westside. I’m so happy to report that the new Links Restaurant (at Pioneer Point Golf Club) is a lovely experience. We went for brunch today and the food was great,. The menu is reasonably priced, and all of the staff are professional and very friendly. (Shout out to Clarence) If you had a bad experience with the previous restaurant at this spot. I highly recommend giving Links a shot. They won’t disappoint!

Called and ask if we should make a reservation for last Friday for 2 people. They said yes. Made it for 5pm. Found out hours before that we couldn't make it and went online to reschedule to 6:30. No problem since every spot was open...didn't look like we really needed a reservation. We arrived about 6:05 and the hostess said she would see if they can take as early. The restaurant only had about 5 tables occupied?? She said yes they could after a couple of minutes. Just strange. The waitress didn't seem very friendly and very hard to understand her (low talker and fast). Not even halfway done with app (sliders which were 3 out of 5, lacked something) our meals arrived. And we are fast eaters. But no problem, I rather have my hot meal not get cold waiting for us to finish the app. The place just seemed odd. Modern vibe on a golf course with nice linen but no salt/pepper on any table and hostess and waitress seemed to have to tweak the training. It was just ok.i expected more with such high ratings. I had beef rib, house salad and son had tri trio sandwich. Fries were good. And dessert was lava cake. It was average. Maybe it will get better since it is newer. It was beautiful and clean.

Went to the previous restaurant frequently as we live 2 mins away, and was bummed to hear it close down. The new concept has improved on some things and has left others to be desired.

Pros:
-Drinks were tasty and had some nice mocktails
-Same nice environment, and music was playing louder which was nice
-Friendly staff
- Better prices for food and better portion sizes
-Brussel sprouts and fries were delicious
-can pay by phone for check

Cons:
-Hard to find lighter items on the menu, pretty red meat heavy, some more chicken/fish dishes/tacos/ and sandwiches like paninis would be great, especially after some golf
-salmon bowl was cooked fine, just needs more seasoning
-steak cut quality on steak frites was OK for the price but wasn’t super flavorful
-needs more menu items that are easier to eat during golf simulator session
-prices went up for golf sims
-salads don’t use (or say) that they use homemade dressing

Question, when we book simulators, do we choose simulator table on the website? Or is it something different to book?

We will be back, especially to try the wings and fish fry and see if some lighter options make their way to the menu for the warmer months.

Rooting for this place to pop off since we live so close and there’s a lot of neighborhoods nearby!

First time here for my grandma’s birthday and Allison J was our server and she was incredible! The food was amazing very well priced, the atmosphere is earthy and beautiful overlooking a golf course with great music (not to loud) the manager came by to make sure everything was okay and we were enjoying our meal. This place is new to the restaurant scene. What was once ‘Good Company’ is now a new restaurant with a fresh, new look and a menu that is full of great tasting items!
The decor had been updated and some TVs have been added. There’s a separate room with golf simulators. The upstairs has a great room in an outdoor patio, both upstairs and on the main level. The servers were all outgoing, friendly, and helpful in ordering. We even had a chance to chat with the chef and the owner. You could tell everyone was wanting to make our experience the best possible.
We ordered different items, to try as many as possible. Everything tasted great, but my fav is the Caesar Brussel sprouts. Corkscrew shrimp were well coated and crunchy tasty. The Nashville popcorn chicken were big nuggets coated with a dry rub, providing good heat at the end. The Korean Pork Belly wraps were a meal unto themselves, covered with sweet spicy and tangy sauce. The pioneer wings are super crunchy and packed with flavor.
The Cranberry Salad with chicken was bright and fresh tasting. It filled the bowl. There was enough left for lunch the next day. Steak Frites was prepared a perfect medium. The fries could’ve been seasoned a bit differently. Otherwise , a satisfying steak. The Southwest Salmon Bowl looked as good in the bowl as it tasted. The salmon was tender and flaky, grilled perfectly.
Try to save room for dessert. The Lava Cake was truly excellent, especially when paired with vanilla ice cream and berries.
The sign of a good restaurant, for me, is one that I want to return to and try something else on the menu. This is one of those places. …. Welcome Links.
