One of the best Italian meals I’ve had in the U.S. so far. The risotto was outstanding, and dining on the patio by the water in the evening sun made the experience even more special. We just had a rehearsal dinner and welcome party at Lino's for 70 people. We could not be happier with how everything turned out!!! I'm new to Sheboygan and wanted to try an Italian restaurant for my birthday. The menu was quite limited and both myself and my daughter chose a pasta dish as our main meal and the beef tenderloin salad as an appetizer. The bread served with olive oil and balsamic vinegar was great! The tenderloin salad was delicious! Both pasta dishes (bolognase for me, shrimp for my daughter),were such a disappointment. Mine was very salty and didn't have a good, meaty flavor. My daughter's was actually bland.
The highlight was the tiramsu for my birthday!
The girls clearing the tables kept asking us if we were done, wanted plates removed, bread removed, etc- as we were still eating!
Very annoying and not "customer paced".
Very expensive for the quality of food.

Food was fantastic. Our server was fantastic. What ruined the experience was a $50 gift card I had. The gift card was older but it very specifically had NO expiration date. I wanted to use the gift card, and was told they no longer accept the gift card since the restaurant had a new owner for about a year. Same name, same logo, no information posted or listed anywhere about old gift cards no longer being valid. Again, ruined what would have otherwise been a great experience.

I'm from Europe and feel like I'm in an excellent Italian restaurant with a special ambiance and a warm reception welcome from Daniel.
The entire staff is always super friendly, attentive, and
excellently trained.
The kitchen does excellent work!
The Salmon, Tiramisu and an Expresso are my favorite!
The bar with the barkeeper, Stephen is a perfect place to relax and enjoy an after-dinner drink!

My girlfriend and I got a reservation for this place a month ago thinking it would just be a normal restaurant, but we were proved otherwise. We were immediately greeted by one of the nicest people we have ever met, and were peoples persons. They handed us a menu and I didn’t know what half the words meant but everything sounded so so delicious, I wanted to order all of it but my stomach has limited capacity. We were then greeted by the nicest server destiny, she was bubbly and very polite and friendly. She made it easy to talk to and helped us have the best experience we could have possibly had. When we got our food it was plated beautifully and the smell was divine. The first bites we took absolutely shocked our tounges and we have never had such an experience as this. Our one year anniversary was this night and we were absolutely stunned by the sight we saw, we were handed the most delicious and beautiful tiramisu I have ever seen that was in the house because of our anniversary. We then ended the experience with kitty cocktails to end this wonderful night with Lino’s.

I am a big fan of Italian food and my husband and I are both big fans of elevated cuisine so I figured that Lino Ristorante Italiano would be a nice place to have a romantic meal.
The Fettuccine con L’Aragosta e Zafferano was amazing! ! Every bite was a burst of flavor and creativity, Truly an authentic Italian meal.
My husband loves veal and decided to order the Vitello Marsala. He felt it was lacking in flavor and not what he expected in a top Italian restaurant.

Service
The waitress was friendly; happy to make suggestions on entrees we would enjoy.
The bus girl was irregular in attending to drinks and dishes.

Atmosphere
Loved the river view - we got lucky with weather clearing up right before we arrived.

I tried to make a reservation here, but their archaic reservation system is "call and leave a message." I left a message, which was never returned. So I never got to eat here. Found this terrific Italian restaurant last year and made it a point to visit this year. Service was efficient but not rushed. Sam took very good care of us. Nice cocktail menu and wine list. We shared a really good bruschetta. Entrees were a spinach tortellini in a red and white sauce and a baked halibut that was perfectly prepared. Dessert was panna cotta nonna. Reservations are a must.

I got to try linos yesterday for the first time and it was just perfect. I couldn’t have asked for anything more. The food was amazing and the portions were huge! The service was also impeccable. I got the linguini allo scoglio and the muscoli allo zafferano. The muscoli tasted amazing and there was a lot to eat so I shared it with my girlfriend. She normally doesn't like mussels but loved the muscoli and ate it with me for an appetizer. The linguini is difficult to describe but exceeded my expectations and I was blown away by the flavor in this light dish. I felt very satisfied after finishing it and didn't feel stuffed. We decided to end the meal with their tiramisu which my girlfriend thought was too sweet but I loved it. You could easily cut through it with the fork provided and the flavor was a good mixture of chocolate and coffee.

Visiting from Texas on business and I was looking for a restaurant that wasn’t “chain” and found this gem. Not only did I get amazing food and service, I got the best view! Got the Sea Bass; it is melt in your mouth and comes with a very good portion of side veggies and potatoes. The gentleman, who I’m assuming is the owner, is so very friendly. Vacationing in the area and found this beautiful spot on the water. Exquisite meal prep and presentation, all items balanced and flavorful.

We had the muscles, minestrone, lasagna and Rigatoni made with perfectly spiced sausage. Dessert was a flute of lemoncello gelato.

The wait staff were very prepared and made it a special experience - Daniel was great ! The young ladies who attended our table were all professional and attentive. We had a quick moment to meet the owners who made sure we enjoyed ourselves.

Went to celebrate our wedding anniversary here. Never ate here before and this was our first time. Would never go back. 1st: My pasta was super salty and the noodles were undercooked. This definitely was not authentic Italian cuisine. 2nd: Most importantly our 7 year old got sick from this place. After a few minutes of eating his spaghetti and meatballs he complained about stomach pain. Got home after leaving the restaurant and he had the chills..fever..chest pain and a fever. He barely slept the night as his abdominal stomach pains grew worse. After vomiting 3 times at different times throughout the night..he finally slept like a baby and woke up the next morning as if nothing happened.

I gave a 5 star review even though my lamb chops were Medium vs Med Rare. The other 3 meals were near perfect, the staff was perfect and the place was beautifully appointed.
I will be back and would highly recommend Leno's to anybody who is a fan of Quality.

What an exquisite evening at Lino's. We first started with a cocktail at the bar. The owners both came by to greet us and share in conversation. The bartender ( Steve ) was courteous and professional. Our cocktails were fantastic. We were seated for dinner, and our server Daniel was the best we have ever experienced. The veal was sooo tender and my wife's pasta dish was like we were back in Italy. We will be coming back asap. A++

Lino's is truly my favorite restaurant in Sheboygan. Lino and his wife are so kind and loving and they always present to me the perfect night out in every way everytime I have gone there. From the minute I walk in, they make me feel like family. What a blessing! ❤The food and drink and every little detail is outstanding and every birthday, I choose to go their to make it extra special. And it always is. Thank you so much to Lino and his beautiful wife for creating such amazing memories for me and loved ones over the years. It is exceptional and if you haven't tried it yet, I highly recommend it!

Very welcoming once we entered. Real nice dim atmosphere, relaxing vibe. Service was awesome. The food was FANTASTIC! Great place for Anniversary or Birthday. Wide selection of wine also. Main dish was a bit of a wait but appetizers came out hot and fresh.

Food and service were very good. Ownership is clearly involved and invested in the guest experience, which is a huge plus. They are very kind and welcoming. Bar staff is kind, but could learn the finer points of their craft to bring service from very good to excellent. Bar selection is also sort of limited, although wine is on point for this style of establishment.

One of the best meals I've ever had! We were in town for the weekend and ended up going twice (with reservations) because I couldn't get enough! I enjoyed the special of the night, which was butternut squash ravioli in a creamy tomato sauce with crumbled amaretto cookies on top, and our other meals of lasagna and fettucine were fantastic too! Our server, Sam, was nice!

Solid 5 Star dining experience- from the moment we walked in the door to the time when we finished our excellent desserts, the service was so good that it made me realize what I’ve been missing for so long. It’s that old school professionalism with a lot of class, dedication to the art of presentation, and charisma that you can’t get any way other than doing it right.

I had one of the rack of lamb specials- medium rare and it came with a side of vegetables. I’m a meat guy, the lamb was done perfectly to smokey glazed perfection. And although you might not believe it- the vegetables stole the show.

That’s what you can expect here. You’re going to find a pleasant surprise with every bite, and the 5 Star Service to back it up.

I’d recommend Lino Ristorante Italiano to anyone, without hesitation. It’s got everything you’re looking for, from a beautiful location right on the river and down to the last bite.

Finally had a chance to try Lino Ristorante and I was very glad to do so. The building inside and out is incredibly well kept, clean, nice looking and spacious with a lovely atmosphere to it. Service was polite, friendly, quick and nice to talk to, no problem there at all. Food was great on all ends. The bread was nice and fresh, and tasted great woth my other food or vinegar and oil coming with it. The vegetable soup was warm, scrumptious and each spoon full was tasty. The lamb pasta dish I got had a robust strong taste to it with tasty noodles and...we I wish there was more lamb but it was excellent regardless! Dessert was also tasty, the chocolate and cream topped with these good tasting cookie bits.Try Lino out, there is a reason it's one of the most well rated restaurants in Sheboygan!

We have never been to this restaurant and we absolutely loved it. Risotto with mushrooms and shallots was one of the specials. I added chicken to it and it was the best Risotto I have ever had!!!!

My husband had a seafood pasta dish and he thought it was excellent. We were to talk to Lino and his beautiful wife and so enjoyed learning about them and their restaurant! They do not have a microwave or freezer. Everything comes in fresh every day!! Amazing!!!!!!

This was actually atrocious for the pricing and experience I got. The only redeeming factor of this place would be the environment they provide you was actually quite amazing and the carpaccio was a quite fun dive and mouth feel experience. The reason I want to provide this review is to talk about the joke of a entrée they provided me, the risotto special they were serving this past Friday was basically the texture of porridge and sand along side the flavor of cheap store bought canned gravy. To top it off it was 38 dollars. How in the world do you justify that pricing in comparison to the rest of the pasta menu you offer. Honestly wish I could have gotten a refund on a meal I took 4 bites of before determinizing that it was utter garbage. I unironically would have eaten warm cat food over that dish. Cannot recommend that meal at all or this place remotely when there are far better experiences to have in the Sheboygan Area.

This is a very nice fine-dining Italian restaurant with well-trained staff, good food, fast service, and comforting well-selected background music. Visitors are also not random but those who understand and value of spending their time in cozy athmosphere of a nice dining place. Recommended!
