If you are looking for authentic Mexican food this place is not it. The staff is friendly. The vibes are good. The food was overpriced for the quality. The Chile relleno would have been great without the ground beef spoonful on top. Had I known it would have come that way I would have asked for it to be left off. The tacos being ground beef and not steak was also disappointing. I felt like it was just a sit down version of taco bell with some nicer items on the menu. The drinks were the best part of the whole meal and the chips. I don't plan to try the food again but I'd go back for drinks as the atmosphere was nice. It's small and not many seats available. But it's got a homey feel.

Music was way too loud. Food was not flavorful. Soda tastes like it had too many minerals in it. Waiter took a long time to bring us anything (drinks,spoons etc.) Tip was already added and 8 bucks for some beans and cheese.... ridiculous... oh and what's the purpose of the super hot plates?!? My family and I will NOT be going back.

The chips had more flavor than the ground beef, more than the chicken and MORE than the steak. If you are a gringo and are from gringo land than this place is for you! Little Cancun has the best food and drink for Mexican food. I'm a long time customer who is never disappointed. They are always on top of things. The food no matter what you get is always perfect and the margaritas never disappoint. I'm assuming family operated, but the staff are always so very excellent, friendly, hard ass working. Nice little restaurant and bar in Franklin with very tasty 🇲🇽 fare. They do have the best chips in town. The chips come out hot and fresh. Their green salsa has a nice little heat to it. The chile relleno is nice and cheesy, and their Michelada, refreshing on a hot summer day. Great music selection playing and staff are very friendly and their service is quick. A new outdoor patio was just built.

Senor Loco inside Romine's really has this place beat by a long shot. Food was so, so, Enchilada was VERY SMALL compared to Senor Loco's. Not much Cheese on it either. Charged $1.50 extra for a very small side of Sour Cream!

Rice was dry, Beans very runny, VERY SMALL PORTIONS. Didn't even have a Bowl with Hot Sauce to dip your Chips in, gave you a SQUIRT BOTTLE, Strange...

Won't be back, we will stick with Senor Loco. Go there, you won't be disappointed. Better QUALITY, QUANTITY, AND PRICING.

If there are tables available, the seating and table side service is very prompt. I have been seated immediately at times but have waited up to 30 minutes. The facility is fairly small and the atmosphere is not unique at all, but I found the food to be above average. My favorite meal there thus far has been the Chili Relleno. I have had various small plate meals, and the tacos are quite good and delivered very fast. The house margaritas are average. I believe their prices are reasonable, and the food is good enough to make me go back.

We were in the area for a convention for a week. We ate here on 2 different nights because the food was so good. I had chicken enchiladas the 1st night and steak enchiladas the second night. This was my first visit and definitely not the last. This restaurant is small and cozy and the food is outstanding. They bring you freshly made chips, they come piping hot to the table. The strawberry daiquiri was the bomb. The grandkids loved the virgin daiquiri. I'm not a tomato eater, but the pico de gallo was the best I've ever tasted. Hands down, this is one of the best Mexican restaurants I've been to. It is a small restaurant, so there may be a bit of a wait, but other than that, great food and service.

UPDATE: the quality of the food has remained consistent. the staff is sometimes attentive but always curious. can be loud during happy hours and can be hard to hear the persona cross the table from you (sometimes) i do enjoy the food for the most part. the style of the restaurant has not changed in years and they should look at doing a remodel soon, however that does not necessarily take away from the function of the restaurant...to serve and enjoy food... ill still return here, my rating will remain a 4, but leaning toward the lower side of 4, .....

I went there and got the steak burrito and a side of beans. The chips were unusually wet with oil. When I compared the chips I had to other’s chips it looked like they dumped oil on top of mine, the chips were also very salty. The steak burrito was unusually small but good, and the beans were a usual size and good. The hot sauce they have goes good with most dishes. The Friday fish fry is amazingly good…..

I am not fond of giving businesses bad reviews, I just let it go and move on, HOWEVER with the experience we had for the first time I have to leave a review. We walked in and were seated immediately with no greeting, the guy was very serious no smile at all. After he brought whatever sauce they serve for the chips which were a joke, some were long, some square, some triangles all over the place, (we were told the salsa was in the bottles, and we had to squeeze it on the chips, no real salsa, just some tasteless green stuff) he then decided to greet my husband, in a very unfriendly tone. I ordered the sizzling steak fajita plate, the only thing good about it is it came out sizzling, there were peppers hanging out of the plate it was not even cleaned up. The steak was like leather, (low quality meat so obvious) I could not even bite into it, it was bland and tasteless, no spices at all, I had to ask for salt to add some flavor. The guacamole was also tasteless, I have never had bad mexican food like this place. I asked for a box to go I could not even eat it, and when one of younger servers brought the box I told him how tough the beef was, he did not say a word, looked at me, walked away and did not care to apologize, I was shocked. Then I decided to tell the guy who served us that the steak was tough and very disappointing for the price we paid, his response was immediately defensive and said that's how it comes, WHAT, so you do not cook it there!! And then he proceeded to tell me I should have ordered the chicken instead, I like steak, not chicken. He did say sorry, but again was not very bothered that I was unhappy with the food. I have had lots of Mexican food and this was by far the worst I have ever had.
**Very dismissive and unfriendly staff, as much as we wanted to support a small business we will definitely not be returning.

Had a bad experience there that actually caused us to not go for a few years, but after our covid era favorite shut down we gave it another try.

The food and margs are consistently better than most of the competition. The service was great the handful of times we've gone recently as well.

Highly recommend this place. It's a convenient location with fantastic options. Meals are delicious and savory meat is cohesively blended with perfectly melted cheese. Yes, the chips are the best in town!
