I ordered pickup for 2 different breakfast sandwiches and 1 hot & 1 cold coffee drink. The total was just over $40. I would say the quality is similar to Panera Bread sandwiches.
The coffee was good but my husband and I could have done without the sandwiches. We each tried both. One sandwich had over browned bacon with too much sauce and the other was lacking in flavor. I might come back for coffee some day but not for the price point for the breakfast foods.

Stopped in this weekend and was immediately greeted by smiles from the employees. The ladies working were very polite and friendly. I ordered a latte and a sandwich, and both tasted great! The young lady with the double braids who brought me my food was so kind as to even offer my dog a treat. Overall, the service was great, and I highly recommend it to others.

A friend and I met for a morning coffee, and we enjoyed the place. With the option of indoor or outdoor seating, it is nice to pick according to the weather and preference. Be aware that the outdoor eating area allows dogs, which is not a problem for me, but might be for others. There are tables in the sun and also with shaded areas.
The menu is a nice variety, and the Mocha with almond milk was delish. My friend got a smoothie, and it was really good too. The Cinnamon Roll was crazy good and big! The options range from sandwiches to muffins to hot and cold drinks. There is also a range of local artisan items for purchase inside. Coffee for home brewing is also available.
I saw lots of families with children enjoying their morning here. Room for kids to run around outside.
The one drawback is the train nearby, which goes back and forth repeatedly all morning. And the trucks from the local quarries and heavy businesses are loud as they make the corner turn. We had to regularly stop our conversation as they went by. But that is not a big deal for a nice outdoor spot to sit.
The accessibility is good by the sidewalk at the other end of the building. The outdoor seating is on the ground level so that's easier if someone can go inside to order.
Service was fast and well done. I plan to return.

Went here for the first time this past Friday. Such a nice cozy atmosphere. Had the Chicken Walnut Salad. It was delicious with high quality, fresh ingredients. This coffee shop is very nice and organized. The staff are nice and make great coffee. The food is great. The music playlist really needs to be revised. It can be way too loud and distracting for guests. A lot of the music makes me feel like I’m in a club instead of a comfy relaxing coffee shop. A good amount of the guest I see there are a bit older than me and with being a young guy I’m sure some of them feel the same way. All in all this coffee shop is my new everyday stop but I would really like to hear coffee shop appropriate music.

Loca Latte in Sussex is an excellent spot for breakfast and lunch. They have a great selection on the menu, and I highly recommend the Loca Turkey Bacon sandwich—it was absolutely delicious! The Chipotle added just the right amount of kick. I also ordered a hot matcha latte with vanilla and a shot of espresso, which was perfectly balanced. The cafe offers both indoor and outdoor seating, with a lovely patio that would be perfect on a nice day. The staff was friendly, and I’ll definitely be back soon!

I have stopped here numerous times while biking on the Bugline. Usually I have the yogurt with granola and fruit, which is generally very good. Today I had a smoothie, but it was anything but smooth. The flavor was fine, however it was very gritty... basically an icee. When I finished there were chunks of ice the size of blueberries in the bottom of the cup. This should be an easy fix, but it needs to be fixed.

My husband and I loved how cute the place is, the people who worked there are so friendly and patient when it comes to your order and know my order so well. I always get the matcha latte with almond milk with free sugar vanilla and peppermint, I loved it. They have an espresso blend similar to cafe de arts in Waukesha, so it's strong. I don't like getting a coffee drink in a paper cup and it doesn't look good, but it seems the only option. Cappuccino sizes are double or more than traditional so to get a real cappuccino try a cortado and you'll get closer to a cappuccino in the 5-7 ounce range. The Mediterranean sandwich was nicely prepared and packaged.

Loca latte is anything but “Loca”. While the flavors are off the wall and more numerous than their wall decor they are well organized and easy to order with. All day breakfast came in clutch for my late start. Their farmer’s breakfast is a must have with its light balance of tomato and greens, but also a fruit bowl on the side to wash it all down with. Their dragonfruit palmer was refreshing along side my meal. Fabulous place for breakfast/brunch/lunch or just a meal.

This treasure of a coffee shop is located in Sussex Wisconsin. It is a wonderful place for a meeting with family, friends or just to go alone for great coffee, tea or many other great beverages! Food is amazing! Made from only the best ingredients their sandwiches for breakfast are very tasty. Baked eggs great meats and cheeses fruit and vegetables options are also tremendous!!... Lunch menus is just as great! Beyond all that is the garden of the attached patio with tables and chairs and shaded pergolas. I love this place, since I've had the opprotunity to vist before work. Serena greets me and others with a warm smile and knows our order. Really wished I could give this place a positive review but had a very bad experience. Saw the outdoor area did not have a table so decided to order over the phone a to go order. A man answered the phone and when I asked to place a to go order he said “I’m to busy for that right now I’ve got like twenty people in front of you. Go online and do it.” Very rude and obviously did not give my business after that interaction. The outdoor patio is very nice but I have unfortunately never had a positive experience when ordering either stay in or to go. Unfortunately don’t think I will be giving this place another chance.

This is my family's new go-to for brunch! I have only done pickup orders using curbside (I have a toddler and this is seriously the BEST!!). They're always so fast and our drinks and food are delicious every time. Can't wait to actually eat inside one of these days! The owners Karteal and Serena have created a wonderful little Cafe in the Templeton district of the Village of Sussex. Sussex can often lack a sense of community. Everything is far apart and you have to drive everywhere in a car. This little cafe is the epicenter of a sense of community and connection with other local businesses in the area and with the Bugline Bike trail, which litterally passes through the patio of the Cafe and makes it a great breaking place during a brisk bike ride. The coffee is outstanding, the food is fresh, the service quick and friendly and the Cafe itself features homegrown art and ethnic music. It's cozy and warm in the winter and the patio features a fireplace for hanging out in the summer and fall months. Overall it's become one of the best additions and had played a major role to the resurgence of Sussex's downtown area. I totally recommend it.

Have had good experiences in the past but recently have not had good experiences. Went in today and ordered ONE pastry and ONE sandwich to go. Waited 40 minutes and was patient since it was busy. Ordered to go. Got to my car and it was not my order. Immediately went back in and told them. They handed me another bag and apologized. Got back to my car and checked it and once again none of it was my order. At this point I was just frustrated and went home. I did not end up eating any of it because it was not what I liked. I saw the same complaint in a different review so hopefully they start treating employees better as it is a super nice little cafe, I’d love to give my support to a small business as long as they treat the employees well. the chai tea was delicious!

What can I say. I have made this place my go to spot for the best Americano in town. Their espresso beans are 2nd to none. I am very fussy about my Americano and these folks never disappoint. I challenge anyone to find a richer tastier cup in the county. I come in here and these people treat you like family and they go out of their way to provide excellent food choices ,really fresh ingredients and excellent service. I would recommend this place as a good place for a husband/wife lunch date.

I stopped in to grab lunch after my hair appointment next door and it did not disappoint! There’s a lot to choose from and the wrap was delicious. I tried their watermelon lemonade special and that was delicious too! Excellent service and friendly staff. Can’t wait to come back here again!

I come here often, either by driving or riding my bike down the Bug Line, and I always enjoy the food and sitting outside. I usually order The Wisconsinite or the Southwest Chicken sandwich and both are always delicious. Their chocolate frappes are really tasty too!

I loved my peanut butter coffee this morning. The only thing that would have made it better is if I was drinking it in the cozy ambiance of the cafe instead of at work. The food is tasty and the staff a super friendly! I love the music.
