Good for breakfast’s but lunch and dinner are total prefab, “out of the box” options.
We had a perch and a chicken dinner. The perch was essentially just 2 breaded fish sticks obviously taken out of a box, as was the breaded chicken patty. Not much flavor there.

Staff is friendly and efficient , however my daughter and I both had stomach aches after eating Patty Melts .
I don't know what it was ? Maybe the thousand Island dressing on the sandwich . Something seemed off in the taste 😕😔

This establishment has been around for a long time! We were unfortunately met by a strong smell of burnt toast as we entered, kind of setting the tone of uncertainty. The food was ok.. minus my toast being burnt and my husband's bacon so crispy the taste was gone. A bit disappointing, as I remember coming here as a younger kid. Hopefully, it was a fluke experience.

Log Cabin always has amazing food and great, old-school customer service. Every experience there has been amazing. The servers remember me by name and usually even remember my particular quirks about my coffee. I wouldn't want to start my Friday mornings anywhere else.
The steak is cooked to perfection and the burgers are chef's kiss!
By the way, if you are smart enough to become a regular, join their coffee club. It's worth it.

I remember the log cabin walking the back door and the front door and the round table in the middle of the restaurant. WOW holy cow it has changed a lot since I was living here 35yrs ago. And I will be back. I moved back in the area just 53 minutes away from here .

I was really disappointed with my recent visit to Log Cabin Restaurant. When we opened a jelly packet at our table, we noticed it had mold in it. We brought it to our waitress’s attention, but she barely acknowledged it and just brushed it off like it wasn’t a big deal. No apology, no effort to make it right—just indifference.
Food safety should be a priority, and customer concerns should be taken seriously. This experience definitely makes me question their quality control and service. I hope management addresses this issue because it’s not something that should be ignored.

We go up to Wausau at least once a year and always like grab breakfast from here during our trip. The service is always really good and they have a very friendly staff. The food always tastes great and comes out quick, too. I gotta say the last time we were there, I got a pancake with my breakfast. I'm not usually a pancake person, but this pancake was so fluffy and delicious they made me a fan! Definitely check them out if you are in the area.

To start I can be critical about food from traveling throughout the US and elsewhere. But I wish the cod had a golden beer batter coating and the portions were larger in regards to the size of each piece of fish. Our waitress was phenomenal. She went above and beyond, to spend time in ensuring guest were happy. She was expedient and courteous. The tables were rather close. It would have been nice to have privacy walls yo make the setting more intimate. I loved the holiday decor, especially the fire place. 🌲🕊️✨

What a great dining experience last night! Restaurant is located adjacent to the hotel where I was staying and made dinner very easy and convenient after a long day on the snowy roads. Waitress and manager were both very friendly and attentive. Food was delicious. I had a taco salad that was as generously portioned along with a generous side of onion rings. Lots of good food at a reasonable price from a local restaurant. Will certainly visit again when I’m back in the area on business.

My family and I visited the Log Cabin Restaurant while staying in Schofield. I ordered the crab cake Benedict, my fiancé ordered the Appetizer Sampler with sidewinder fries and honey mustard. The kids got a hamburger and Mac n cheese off the kids menu. My crab cake Benedict was delicious, but I ended up taking off my over east eggs to not let the cakes get mushy as it does not come with the traditional English muffin on the bottom. Very delicious! The appetizer sampler was small but good and they made a smiley face out of ketchup for the kids burger. Check this place out if you’re visiting Schofield!

The server was so sweet to my little girl and went above and beyond for her. She added pink sprinkles to her ice cream and gave her a sticker and even sang the song with her. The food was also delicious and super good prices! It was our first time and it was a spectacular experience. We both got the French toast and I made some changes to my order as I didn’t want sausage or bacon and got hash browns instead and it was no issue at all. It just overall was one of my best experiences in Wausau. Super family friendly!

Used to come here all the time and the food was great, but lately it has been very bland and gross. I asked about it amd was told by management "we can't use any seasoning on our food. It's against the health code".

Coffee was not good and it only came in a tiny cup with free refills ($2.56). If you want a standard size cup every time you go, it costs $50. Cheeseburger was pink. Omelet was okay but kind of blah tasting. The building on the inside was outdated, but the log cabin theme was a cute idea.

Our experience this time wasn’t the greatest. My boyfriend ordered the log cabin breakfast and his eggs had hair in them. They took the 3 eggs back to the kitchen and the waitress returned with 2 eggs, and then left because her shift was over. Instead of making things right by removing the entree that was screwed up two times (the meal was $15.00), the staff removed the cost of a soda ($3.00) which I think wasn’t enough for the disgusting mistake that was made. I’m not sure we will return or recommend this place to anyone anymore. 👎👎👎👎

Coffee cup was super small and I was told it was because I wasn’t a member. Seems crazy since I was told to be a member cost $50 and the only perks were a larger coffee cup and a buck off certain appetizers, etc. I will post the cup next to a cup hot chocolate was served in although it looks larger in the photo. I said well then you will have to do lots of trips to do refills. I felt like I was a second rate citizen at the least per server attitude.
