This seems like a really nice place and also a very busy one. We only wanted a place to get a beer and a snack. We got the beer and an order of cheese curds. The Cheese Curds were a fairly big order and with that we were not able to finish them.

The bar had drink coolers built in which is something I had not seen before and for the most part I didn't leave my beer long enough to get warm.

I would come back to this location if I was traveling through again since the food smelled good and the staff was friendly.

Stopped in on a Tuesday. They offered a pizza deal, so we gave it a try. Pizza and wings were really good and the beer was really cold. Bartender and patrons were all very nice. We were in town hiking the Ice Age Trail and were given lots of good advice. Definitely will be back.

Tried a soup I've never had before...Philly cheese steak...omg, soo good. I had the roast beef dinner, my friends had a rib/fish Friday night special, and one had the fish. We each very much enjoyed our meals, the roast beef and ribs were "fall off the bone" tender. They said their fish was very good. Our waitress was attentive (forgot her name, sorry).

We stopped for drinks. I don't drink alcohol anymore, so while my boyfriend had his beer, I had a fruity mocktail called a 'Frickin' Awesome'. I can't remember exactly what was in it. Cherries and Starry and a couple of other ingredients, but it's so nice to be able to have a special drink when we go out instead of the same old pop I drink at home.

If I could give more stars I would. We come to loggers 5-10 times a year when we come to my dad’s house from northern Minnesota. The environment is perfect. For kids and families or singles and young people- it’s very inviting!

Me and my daughter were alone for the first time looking for dinner, not much open so she said loggers. It happened to be her 6th birthday! From the second we walked in the door to the second we left- she was treated like a princess. Our waiter (Jaxon I believe) had extra enthusiasm for her about her birthday, which was refreshing. The manager or whatever his title, with the gauges, he brought her a couple things he found in the restaurant- a couple cute rubber ducks and a stuffy…my heart melted. Not many people acknowledged her birthday today and that made her a little blue, so this experience changed the day for us!! Thank you and we will be back as always.

Food was on point also- we had the special. Steak. Which they made awesome and customized for the birthday girl- and the free mini donuts to go were warm, fattening, and delish!!

We went to Loggers because the sign on the road said "Kids Eat Free".. and that's only partially true. When we sat down and looked at a menu, most of the actual kids meals were $4-$5, and there were 3 free "meal" options- salad and fries, breadstick and fries, or tator tots with bread. I would not call any of those meals.. so the advertising was misleading, and that was frustrating. Then, our table said that you get one free appetizer if you ordered two drinks and two dinner entres. So we ordered two drinks, which we don't normally do (we order water to save money). Then, when we ordered and asked for our appetizer, we were told that the deal only included entres from one section of the menu (the more expensive options). Again, misleading and caused us to spend more and not get what we wanted. Not only that, but our waitress was just kind of snotty towards us and treated us like we were a nuisance. We didn't once complain to her about any of this, so there was really no reason for us to be irritated with us. We aren't the kind of people to be picky about our service. Probably won't dine here again. The food was just okay anyway.

Great atmosphere. The service was also great. Food was fast. The bad - worst steak I’ve had, cut off a roast and butterflied (order med rare, came out well, which is typical for most places). Crazy that not many people can cook a steak. The steak was also $18 for 8oz. Fries were pulled straight from the freezer and placed on the plate. Kids pizza was made on tortilla.

we were her before and everything was really good but on our visit on 4-15-25 for lunch our waitress was not the best. I have the roast beef philly melt and sadly i could have made it better at home the roast beef i could tell was the prepackaged like what you get from the grocery store and the cheese was the square processed it was supposed to have sauted onion, green pepper and mushrooms there was 2 small pieces of green pepper only a few mushroom pieces and i didn't see any onion and there was next to no flavor.

My friends and I decided to try the Friday special of fish,baked or fried with 'all you can eat' salad bar and a side. Simple enough. I ordered the fried fish, and my guest had the baked. We both were served the baked. The server left the fish for me to look at while they ate. It took one hour after repeated visits from the waitress to finally getting what I ordered brought to the table by a crabby cook.

Writing this from the DQ across the street. We are a family two adults and three kids. We ordered two kids burgers a buffalo chicken wrap and the special fish fry and ribs. Two of our kids got their burgers in a decent time frame. The rest of the food was still not at our table 45 minutes later. When I found our server she asked if we wanted our meals to go? Our food wasn’t even in the window yet. The tables around us that were seated after us to include a nine top got there food before us. We had to come across the street to get food for our third child and desert for everyone else. It wasn’t the servers fault but we won’t be back.

As always on a Saturday they were very busy which is good. But my experience was less than favorable. My wife and I both ordered the 12oz Ribeye steak, and I ordered the loaded mashed potatoes. When the food arrived I received a baked potato and when I told the server that I ordered mashed, she just turned and walked away (which was the last time we saw a server until we got the bill) as the food was placed in front of us the odor of rosemary became very strong. As I began to cut the steak, I realized that there was about a 1/4" layer of a dark green pesto looking substance on a 1/2" thick steak and after I scraped it off and cut the steak it had an overwhelming flavor of rosemary so the natural flavor of the steak was non-existant.
My wife complained about the flavor because she could not eat the steak and they did discount our $60 bill by $12.
I have eaten here before and always had good food and service but I won't order their Ribeye again.

The idea of ordering a ribeye was it would teast like a good steak instead it was covered so much I. Rosemary that it was so overwhelming. And for ribeye it was like having country fried steak. Stopped there on a whim this weekend and we were so pleasantly surprised. Our food was outstanding. We started with an order of Poutine Fries, hats off to Loggers for doing them right they were delicious. Our sandwiches were excellent 👌👍 absolutely top notch.... They were busy, but the staff knows how to hustle and were just genuinely nice and honest about being unexpectedly busy, which was a refreshing change from the normal stressed out server trying to act not busy when they obviously slammed. I LOVE YOUR SIGN ABOUT NOT BEING NEGATIVE WITH THE STAFF... EVERY PLACE SHOULD HAVE THAT POSTED. We don't live in St Croix Falls, but we will most definitely be back. Thanks for a wonderful lunch on our Fall excursion.

Everthing was quite clean! Theme is logging and there are some cool things on the walls. Maybe they are short staffed like everyone, maybe she was newish, the waitress never checked on us, we had drinks, appetizer and late lunch. There were only about 3 other tables and 3 or 4 people at the bar about 1230 on a Sunday. We were celebrating so I got steak. It was done perfectly! Even if staff is lacking, food makes up for it as it was fast, done exactly how requested. Bloody Mary not as impressive.
