Went for a couple of drinks with my wife. Hadn't been there in years. The server seemed overwhelmed and frustrated, though there werent many patrons in the bar. When asked for a glass of water with our beer, he seemed annoyed. Was then even more annoyed when we asked for a replacement glass, since it was obvious that it had so much soap residue in it that the glass was overflowing with soap suds and bubbles. Hoping it was just an "off" night, as prior experiences were good.

Stopped in at Loopy’s for lunch and it did not disappoint! I tried the smash burger tacos, which were basically a Big Mac in taco form — absolutely amazing and super flavorful. The fries were also spot on: crispy, coated, and so tasty. Great food, fun atmosphere, and friendly service. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone in the area, and I’ll for sure be back the next time I’m in Chippewa Falls!

Townie place for sure. If they don't know you then they don't want to. Went just to tube the river and that didn't disappoint. The guys handing out tubes and driving the bus were fantastic. Stayed for a burger and the wait staff and service wasn't the best. Food was good.

We rented a canoe online. The two hour route felt like more like 30 minutes. We fished from the canoe along the way. When we arrived, they shuttled us right away (great service). There was a shuttle going about every 10 minutes it seemed. Easy to get in and out. They have tubes too!

This is the most awesome place! We stopped in for a cocktail and we had the nicest bartender who made us a specialty monitor with mulled raspberries and blackberries and more. Best drink I had in ages. He took so much time with them and they were just delicious! The place had a great down home atmosphere. They also had patrons come there to go tubing on the river. Such an interesting place that I sure wish was closer!

Unfortunately...had a very bad experience today. Went tubing and then stopped up to the tiki bar for a couple of drinks and apps. Was warned by the waitress that the wait for food was aboit an hour... it was busy, so ok....just ordered cheese curds and onion rings, which she said would probably be quicker. Waited for our drinks...a white claw, 2 bottles of beer, and one cocktail. After 20 minutes...asked again if our drinks were coming, only after we saw our waitress standing at the counter and chatting. Still waiting... and she says, yes, it's just really busy... then watched her check her book and the computer, ring something in, and then we finally got drinks. Ok. So after waiting a solid hour for food, ordered another round of drinks, since we were still waiting. Definitely didn't remember to ring those in either because she got distracted by a food order that came out that she clearly had no idea where it should go. After another 15, asked about our drinks again, she finally rang them in and we got them. It's now closing in on 2 hours since we ordered.....off the river before 6, ordered right away...it is now 8. Got her attention and asked. Like she said the previous couple times, it should be any minute, I'm so sorry for the wait. Then she went in to look, came back out without food, went to the computer and looked, looked in her book, came back to us and asked what we had ordered again and told us the kitchen must have lost our ticket. She would tell kitchen to remake. We said no...we couldn't wait anymore. Could we just tab out. Yes she says. Prints our bills right at the table and mysyeriously didn't need a manager to void off the food...which she had clearly forgotten to ring in. Apologized and was nice...but it was a complete trainwreck. Busy...but as someone who has served for years...it wasn't busy enough for what happened today. Need better training. I love tubing and have definitely given grace for slow food in past... but this was another level.

Visiting from California, this place is so nice we came twice. The Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich is one of the best things I've ever eaten. We came for the tubing and stayed for some food.

First, the tubing. This place really has their stuff together. We’ve been tubing at a few other places in Wisconsin, but this is the first one who keeps your car keys safe for you while you float the river. We went for a tube with cooler, and wow - they bring the cooler out, you load it, and they fill it with ice.

The bus was air conditioned and the staff took care of the tubes, etc. Super easy and well worth it.

Afterwards we hung out at the tiki bar and had a sandwich and some drinks. Food was good, drinks were cold, and service was pretty great

Just here for "the Ride" this time. Most of the workers were volunteers. Considering the weather was damp, it was a busy place with a good turnout. The ride was great, even in the rain. The place is cute on the outside. Inside could use a cleaning & face lifting. Ordered our beverage and food. The food was decent. Once we got our food no one ever came back to see how everything was. Never got offered beverage refills, had to go to the bar for our bill & no one ever acknowledged that we left. It wasn't because they were busy as there were 4 other people there. If I were to die after this HUGE meal, id like to think my wife would be happy.
On our way to vacation and rolled in at 11:30 on a random Wednesday. The bar tender had more energy than me and was extremely insightful on the menu. Prompt service and absolutely delicious.
Im a big guy, got the chainsaw chicken and the tacos. Thought I'd be okay, not expecting what the gentleman brought out. Holy Hannah the pricing is so much more than reasonable, you won't leave hungry. If you do, that's your fault. Even better: you won't be broke.
So amazing. Hoping GPS grings us back through on the way home.

Didn't get a chance to eat or drink here, just the tubing. Great staff! Walked into the bar after parking and the bartender had us fill out the waiver and this is where you pay for your tubes and get your bracelet. Instructed to keep the receipt to show out in the back where the shed is---where you get your tubes and ride to the drop off spot.

Staff at the shed set you up with your tube and clips and you give them your car keys and ID (for each group). You get a number to identify your stuff when you return, which the young man was kind enough to write on my bracelet:)

Tubes go in the trailer, you go in the van, and they drive you to the river drop off point. I don't believe we waited very long at all by the time we got to the shed.

Two and a half to three hours later, you'll be floating up to Loopy's on your right, big sign, you can't miss it. Right at the stairs to get back on land, the river bottom is mucky, but before that it is very rocky so make sure you have hard bottomed water shoes.

The path back up to the shed doesn't have any stairs, so that's nice. It's a little steep, but not bad. At the top, you can rinse your feet off and they have bins for any trash or cans you have. When you return the clips, they give you Loopy to use inside.

There are bathrooms you can use to change and showers too, which I believe take quarters. These are located in an outside area, so you don't have to go traipsing through the bar all wet and drippy.

We interacted with two bartenders, two drivers and two attendants and all were good natured and good humoured! Also, my first impression when I walked into the bar area was, holy smokes, this place is CLEAN. I swear the walls were shining. Outside looks brand new too, even though I am pretty sure they've been there awhile. Seems to me the owner really cares about this establishment and his staff because the service and attitude is EXCELLENT.

I'll be back, just earlier in the day so I can check out the food and drink too!

Restaurant at the edge of Chippewa Falls offering a service tubing down the Chippewa River, a 2-3 hour journey depending on just how many tube's are tied together. Unlike my prior experiences tubing, you are shuttled upstream of the location and end up back at the restaurant. I thought the option of 'cooler tubes' to be a good innovation.

I called for information regarding Loopy's shuttle service and any tips regarding canoeing on the Chippewa River they might have. I explained that we were first-time canoers on the river and would be bringing our own canoe. A gentleman I talked to said there was no problem bringing our canoe and gave me the pricing regarding their shuttle service. Never once did the person mention to us any details about the landing area or the fact that it was very rocky and would require manually dragging the canoe up a steep rocky embankment, (it was not a landing area at all). We had to drag our new canoe through this mess to return back to their parking lot.
We are quite obviously senior citizens, and yet they weren't considerate enough to mention this information. It was quite a surprise to us to find this all out after a long and hot afternoon on the river. I feel that thoughtful people would have made mention of the facts before taking our money for the shuttle. We may have still decided to use their service, but, with this specific info, may have made different decisions regarding how much time we spent on the river. Their lack of thoughtfulness left a very sour taste in our mouths. We will likely not use their service again in the future. It's too bad they don't better inform their patrons.

Great atmosphere! Holy cow! Great view, excellent service, Tiki bar fantastic with windowed garage doors all sides, that if course, can open up. Huge deck around the outside. We went tubing and ate when we were done. There are changing rooms and also showers available, you need quarters for the showers. Excellent food. Tables with umbrellas on the deck overlooking the river. Superb place to stop and eat at. River tubing you can rent tubes or bring your own & party for the shuttle.

This was our 1st visit here. We sat on the back patio. I thought the experience here was going to be great. The kids got to play on the volleyball courts. We really had a long wait just to get our drink order. Then really long wait to receive our drinks. We wanted to order our food right away sencing the long wait time to get drinks . We were told we had to wait until she was done taking other drink orders at other tables. When we did get to order food, we had to wait a very long time before it got delivered. Management needs to have enough wait staff on hand on a hot Saturday late afternoon when you know you'll be busy . Again, it looked like a fun place for a family to go to, but our experience there was a disaster. If we go there for the river tubing next time, we'll probably go somewhere else to eat and drink.

Loopy himself was amazing with superior customer service! He brought two shuttles and picked us up and brought our group home after tubing the river, delicious dinner and drinks. The river was a fun adventure, even with a large group of 20. We saw bald eagles and osprey as we floated. Highly recommend Loopy’s for tubing and for dinner! Thank you!

I just paid $20 for lips & a**sholes disguised as boneless wings. I couldn't even eat half of them, because. . .disgusting. How about REAL chicken meat like most other places are able to do. For $20 that should be expected. At least I enjoyed the tater tots but it's difficult to screw those up.

The bottled beer selection is also very poor. Eight different versions of the same thing.

Really great place to enjoy on a nice summer day. Service was excellent, setting is perfect along the river. Lots of people having fun playing volleyball. We were traveling with our pet and were allowed to bring him in as long as we sat away from the main outdoor dining area. Even though far from the main area service was excellent.
Ribs and burgers were great. Drinks were great. Quesadilla was ok, not as much flavor as the other dishes. Tater tots were too salty to finish. I would definitely go back though.

I have been going to Loopys and playing volleyball at Loopys for years now. The food is great and the service is great most of the time. I have experienced times when it has taken quite awhile for food to actual come out to our tables but I also acknowledge that when the whole place is crazy busy that is what is going to happen. If there is a delay or something not quite right with the food Loopy is there to make it right which I appreciate.
