Born and raised in Sconnie, but I’ve lived in TX for 15 years and was looking for the perfect fish fry, potato pancakes, Brandy old fashioned, and supper club feel during my visit back home. Lorelei Inn was a home run! Owner and waitstaff were spectacular, and all 3 types of fish were great. Even got a ghost story thrown in with the meal.

Do not bother stopping in at this restaurant. There were six open tables and we were told that there would be a 45 minute wait. There were a lot of people at the bar but not at the tables so it was very rude of them to not see us for dinner. Well we will not be back at that place ever ever again

Overall decent restaurant but the service was SLOW and it was a random weekday and they were about half empty (or half full depending on how you look at it) and it took over an hour to get any service I tried to order at the bar and kept being told that someone would be around to take my order and it just took forever to happen so long in fact that others who arrived after me decided to leave. The beer selection is great, the environment is cool and the food was actually decent too so it’s sad that service was really not good.

A group of five of us ladies went in. I have been going to the Lorelei for decades every time I have a craving for German food. There were two disappointments. One was that there was no longer a spaetzel/dumplings on the menu. That is a big draw for German food. The dessert was a square of tort for $7. But g, it was Cool whip, not real whipped cream. However, the food was generally good and the service was speedy. The final individual bills were inconsistent in that only mine tacked on and automatic 20%. The bill said it was a big table. I don't know that five is a big table, but nobody else got that kind of upcharge on their bill. Perhaps those things should be explained at the beginning of the service.

Couldn’t love this place more! We were in town briefly and a local told us to check this place out and it blew us away. Great ambiance, supper club like feel with excellent beverages (esp beer selection) and food. Not to mention the service was superb. They went out of their way to make our experience a positive one. For what the food is I was surprised at the price tag. Almost 40 tacos for a ribeye steak, that's a bold price point for a ribeye anywhere. Schnitzel was priced pretty hefty too for what it was. I get the need to make money and market "authentic" German food but it seems like cheap food with significant mark ups. Had it not been for a friend wanting to spend his birthday dinner here I wouldn't suggest. Almost 80 tacos for some mediocre food and 2 old fashioned.

Don't let curb appeal fool you, this place trys to assimilate german cuisine and completely lacks authenticity and the assembly is horrendous. Cold food, tasteless, localized chemical filled ingredients and horrible customer service. I mean COME ON, the food you ordered could've been made at home for less than 25% of the price, same ingredients and everything.
The bartender simply mean mugged me and inquired why I was there without even a hint of enthusiasm or genuine reception, even teetering on the edge of not even wanting to serve anybody or be there.
DO NOT read this and go find out anyways because curiosity killed the customer, just go somewhere else.
I'm 40 dollars broker and still hungry.

I don't think I can say with enough importance how amazingly great their Guinness is. If you have ever been to Ireland where the true Guinness is, then you have to come here. They not only pour it the correct way, but the taste will send you back to ireland in a heartbeat. Whether you grew up there or visited your fond memories will fly back as you sit back and enjoy this creaming dark fantastic drink. Again, I can not boast about this enough. Since my trip to Ireland back home, I have not found a good Guinness until now. I wish I lived closer to this place. You can tell Dave is passionate about his beer and place. It's a German bar but with the best Guinness. He has made it to pour the best Guinness, and he has. It's a combination of everything, the temp and the pour to the clean beer lines. We didn't try the food, but it looks good.

Pretty decent place! The beer selection is great with multiple sizes up to 32oz. Drafts! We got some German beers. Our waitress was very nice & took good care of us! We went in for some German food, we got the Alpine schnitzel queen portion, they also have a king size, but the queen was plenty big & delicious. Also got the potato pancakes they went great with the gravy. We also got a half-and-half mix of the red cabbage and sauerkraut, sweet & savory with the vinegary punch, went well together. German chocolate cake for dessert!

They have by far the BEST ribeye in town, great flavor cooked perfectly and nothing is ala carte.
I love that the owner is out front working the bar. They do an amazing job with customers, if there were a Cheers in Green Bay it would be the Lorelei Inn. You can tell that the staff like working there by how they treat the customers.

The Lorelei is a small Supper Club with a German menu. We're pretty much packed in during the rush of dinner and that was if the AC then keep up. I had the double bluegill which was a really good. My buddy had the double perch and he ate all his. My wife had the bratwurst in the krautwurst with dumplings. She wasn't impressed with the dumplings nor the gravy that they put on them. We go there may be once a year. We will go again.
