We've eaten at Los Tres Amigos many times. The wait staff are attentive, the food tasteful and it is a family friendly atmosphere. The one thing we weren't expecting was a $2 upcharge for strawberry frozen margarita mixed with a regular margarita. It wasn't half of the glass. The margaritas are tasty.

Spent several months in Oshkosh for work and Los Tres Amigos ended up being one of my teams favorite spots for lunch. Chips and salsa were a great appetizer. Every dish I tried was delicious, but my favorite was the steak chimichanga. Staff was great and super attentive. I'll be back in Oshkosh in a few weeks soon and I really look forward to coming back in for another wonderful meal.

I've been here several times over the last year, and I'm never disappointed. Excellent food, great service, clean restaurant. I've tried many things on their menu, but my favorites so far are the aguachile and the enchiladas de mole 🥰 My daughter LOVES the flautas. The steak tacos are great as well. I look forward to trying more of their dishes!

It isn't the same charges 10 dollars for a 2 Oz cup of elote..like come on not any Mexican resturant around here charges that much ..I ordered 2 tacos n corn! N was charges 18 dollars what...if wlyou gonna br food trucks for the drunk people fine...but please charge the same prices as yiu would dine in..that elote tasted like shit...a dollop of mayo on top you suppose to mix that ..come one man...thought better of yalp

Terrible. They sent me the wrong order 4 Times. I had to write down the order and hand it to the cook myself, still part of it was wrong. By the time I received my food, everyone else was done eating.
Nightmare if you have any food allergy to dairy. Food was ok, service was terrible. The waiter never even stopped by to refresh drinks or ask how anyone’s food was. They never even did anything to try to make it right. We will not be eating here again.

Overall the food was soggy and not very tasty. The mole sauce tasted burnt. The Mexican rice side dish was made with a frozen "mixed vegetables" mix... the kind you refused to eat as a kid because it included lima and green beans. Plus, the shredded chicken was tough.
$15 a meal and it didn't even come with chips! Honestly, felt like a complete rip off. Incredibly disappointed.

We came here on a Friday night and it was not busy at all. We really loved all of our food and the margaritas were awesome! I loved the shredded chicken tacos, and my group really liked the ground beef tacos, taco salad, and carne asada. The bathrooms were also decently clean, which is always a plus!

I ate the steak tacos, Mexican style, and there were the best I’ve had in the US. These were even better than some I’ve had in Mexico!
The steak was seared just right and the toppings were fresh and the tortillas were great as well. The tacos came with an avocado salsa which was perfect and the house salsa that came with the chips was a great flavor as well. I couldn’t believe this place wasn’t busier but it was a Sunday evening.
My wife got the chicken chimichanga and also really enjoyed it. It would be nice for the chimchanga to have a few fresh things on the plate and maybe some beans or rice. Just kind of a weird dish to set in front of you with a big deep fried tortilla wrapped up with nothing else.
The restaurant was clean and a nice place to eat at. Will definitely return, I can’t wait for more of those steak street tacos.

The food was OK but the service was great. The chips and salsa were alright but several of the chips tasted stale. The 'table side guac' was made in the kitchen and brought out, definitely not table side. The queso was amazing! Before the meal we were brought jello shots and tequila shots, not sure if that is normal here or if it was because it was Cinco de Mayo. Either way, nice touch. The entree was tasty. Overall a positive experience, however it left but much to be desired.

I’ve been to every Mexican restaurant in Oshkosh and I can say, this is by far the best authentic place. Everything you get is made fresh daily and you can definitely tell. Anything you order is always rich in flavor as well as being served fresh and hot. No other restaurants can compete. Honestly love, love, love this place! I haven't had GREAT authentic Mexican food since actually visiting the country itself. Since finding this gem... I make it a point lately to get there once a week it seems now, I've almost become addicted! I'd give 10stars if I could give... granted their more busy since the secret is out but their always, always consistently nice & make sure your happy, plus bonus you feel comfy being there whether your w/your family or your friends. I ordered delivery, so gave service and atmosphere 5 stars because I’ve been there before and it was great. Unfortunately, delivery was not so good. I understand food will not be fresh and hot but the amount of fat i got in my carnitas was something that could be controlled. By the time I pulled the huge pieces of fat out, I had enough for 2 very small tacos/burritos. Over half of the meat I received was inedible. While my dog was thrilled, I was not. I also asked for no lettuce/tomato but that was not honored.

The person who waited us was very friendly but then after that the service really slowed down. I liked the chips and tortilla chips we got when we first sat down. I thought the large custom booths and the tables unique.
I just ordered a beef chimichanga and I might have read the menu incorrectly, which I couldn’t find a online, but I was expecting the white cheese sauce on it instead of a red sauce. I will say it was a lot larger than the ones I normally get. I wasn’t super happy about the sauce but I figured I already had the food so I would eat it anyways. I started on the side that didn’t have the red sauce and worked my way to it.
But inside the chimichanga was very different than I’ve ever had in Mexican food and I didn’t really like it. I kind of assumed that chimichangas were very similar but I guess this one was not. The inside of my chimichanga had onions in with the ground beef reminding me more of a pastie than a chimichanga. Then one I had gotten to about the middle all of a sudden there was a large section of cheese added as a larger near the tortilla. I was so confused. I did not like this style of chimichanga at all. I didn’t even bring it home. And honestly the more I ate it the more I felt like it grossed me out because I just wasn’t expecting this at all. If I would have been more aware this is what I was getting I would have ordered something else or went to a different restaurant. The beans were fine but the rice was dry. I wouldn’t go back.

Been on the hunt for GOOD Mexican food since moving out here 6 months ago from Southern California and so far this has been the best most authentic restaurant we've ordered from so far! This was our favorite Mexican restaurant in the area..... Last time we went, I took my mom and sister for their first time. The service was ok, but not great. The food was horrible! Nothing was seasoned at all. Fried ice cream? Balls of ice cream rolled in STALE cornflakes!! Also, for the first time ever, there was an extra charge for using a credit card. Good thing new places have opened!

What a disappointment. The meal started with chips and salsa. The chips were fresh and the salsa tasty. We had high hopes for a great meal that were quickly dashed.
The rude young man serving us was slow, unable to answer questions about the menu, and seemed irritated when we asked what drinks were available.
The food was poorly cooked and flavorless. Their vegetarian options were severely limited and not at all well conceived. We needed extra salsa to make the empanadas edible, and there was nothing "fried" about the fried ice cream. It was ice cream, served on a stake tortilla and sprinkled with stale cornflakes.
I spent nearly $100 for a group of four and not one of us had a good meal. If you're in Oshkosh, there are much better options for Mexican food.

Great, unexpected find! Huaraches were the best we've ever had, and the Tres Amigos Burrito was delicious, cheap, and bigger than my head! Very cute glasses for their alcohol.

Fantastic, authentic Mexican food! Best Huaraches I've had. Al pastor was excellent. Barbacoa was spot on. Great Paloma too, just substitute in some Anejo (my fav!)

Hands down the best Mexican food I’ve had in the area after 40 years living in Oshkosh and dining all around the fox valley and Appleton. Margs were fantastic, steak fajita burrito tasted incredible and the meat was very high quality and seasoned well. Prices are reasonable for the quality of food and the tables and seating are a great upgrade. I’ve never had food like this at a Mexican restaurant and it was fantastic. I used to frequent Durangos, and enjoyed it, and this is a world apart in the best way. Looking forward to coming back!

Wonderful experience dining in, food was great as were the margaritas. Friendly and fast service. My VERY picky partner said this was the best Mexican food he’s ever eaten. I’m sad to see so many negative reviews during EAA, all of our restaurants in Oshkosh were overextended trying to serve the thousands of visitors our city welcomed during that time. We were SO IMPRESSED with the food today and will definitely be back regularly.
