The food was mediocre for the price we paid and obviously dropped in quality since the last time I was there. We ordered Japanese food, and didn't get Japanese rice to go with the meals. My son's udon looked good but brought out 2 bottled water at a time for 1 person. My tonkatsu was so tough I almost couldn't eat it. My husband's shrimp tempura even came with a California roll made with long grain rice, and wasn't even basmati or jasmine rice.

I realize they have construction going on, but if the quality of the food is going to fall that far, maybe close for construction... Don't assume that everyone is a standard American who don't know the difference. I'm half Japanese and was born and raised there for 8 years, and continued to eat real Japanese food and eventually learned how to make it. Celebrating a new job wasn't great, since I feel like we didn't even get Americanized Japanese food, this was flat out American food with just a little Japanese flair. I'll stay home before I go back to spend that kind of money.

I have been dining at Lotus for the past 15 years and, having moved out of state, it is one restaurant I definitely stop at while in town. The owner has always remembered my family despite sometimes year long gaps. She treats us with appetizers on the house as a respectful “thank you”. I highly recommend Lotus If you’re looking for true hospitality and excellent cuisine. Try the Giant Kurin roll it doesn’t disappoint!

I read the reviews and thought how bad could it be? Yea I should have listened. There were 8 of us, bill was over 200. No one got anything fancy. Half of us had water which I'm not even sure if there was a charge for. Tried to look at the bill but my sister took it to pay. The waitress did bring us rangoons that we didn't ask for. Unsure if it was a curtesy or if we paid for them. We were sitting there 45 minutes before food began coming out so pack your patience.

I came in a large group (made a reservation ahead of time) and had a good experience. It was a bit busy, but I believe they're working on an expansion to accommodate more guests. I saw a couple reviews saying the temperature inside was bad, but it was comfortable to me. The food did take a while to come, but not excessively long considering we had 8 people. Our server was very kind, patient, informative, and attentive. My food and drink were also pretty yummy! I'd come back :)

I had given a negative review after his server gave herself over a $30 tip because there was 6 people in our party, 4 were our kids. I saw that see added a tip asked her where it was posted. She said back of the menu, I asked to see a menu walked away. The owner reached out saying she got in trouble for what she did. He told me he would return the tip back to my card. 2 weeks later no tip was returned. The food for the price was absolutely disgusting. I placed 2 sushi orders and the pieces were packed incorrectly (mixed) and the sauce was neon pink?? The crab Rangoon was basically just cream cheese with no seasoning or meat, and it didn’t come with sweet and sour. The wonton soup had a single wonton.

The seaweed wraps/paper in the sushi rolls was so thick, I would have to chew it forever to break it down and finally we just stopped eating. I never waste sushi but this was inedible. The crab in all of our sushi rolls was colored a very fake hue of pink. Adding did coloring is really not necessary and seems suspicious. The misu was delicious and had some good chunks of tofu in it. Super nice servers, great with drink refills, friendliness and they were very attentive. Atmosphere is unappealing-so cluttered, seemed unkempt, upholstery on the chairs is so dirty. Will not return.

From the appearance of the outside I was surprised that the food was only mediocre. The service was excellent but honestly the atmosphere the cleanliness needs to be worked on. I'm a truck driver so I went in by myself and I felt like I was rushed through my meal. Order to sushi roll and a meal that came with a soup and a salad. The Miso soup was incredible it was the best thing that I got. The spicy tuna roll tasted a little bit too fishy to be good quality fresh sushi grade tuna. Kbbq isn't something this place specializes in, but it wasn't remotely close. $14 for three pieces of stir fried beef with a lot sesame seeds to cover it up. We were here last year for sushi and it was the worst sushi I've ever had.

We decided to give it another try yesterday and went with cooked Chinese dishes in hopes for a better experience. The General Tao's chicken is currently the most popular dish there so I ordered that. It was wet chicken on the outside, dried out chicken on the inside. No flavor at all. I wound up throwing it away. It was horribly disgusting.

The only saving grace is that the egg roll and gyoza were good. But, they were the frozen kind you get from the grocery store.

We will not be eating here again.

We have been wanting to try this place for a while. Tonight was date night so we decided on The Lotus! We wanted sushi and it did not disappoint… It was soooo yummy! Ordered crab Rangoon as the appetizer and the sushi for 2 as our main entree… both dishes were delicious!!! The Scorpion bowl and the hot sake were perfect as well. We will definitely be back! Everyone was really sweet and the place looks nice, but that's about as good as it got. We ordered takeout. Sushi was alright, especially since we got it cheaper for Monday, but the kung pao chicken and pork chow mein were so bad we stopped eating after a couple of bites. There was hardly any meat to be found. It was extremely bland, and it almost smelled like the bean sprouts(?) had gone foul. The crab rangoons were half-burnt and there was no trace of crab anywhere, just cream cheese. I used to love coming here as a kid but this is definitely keeping us away for awhile. Amazing, has been on my family's go to list for ages now.
They love their repeat customers so much that when they started to see our vehicle pull up they would do the little things that we asked for without even the question and had them on the table (a lemon cut up at least two waters, little things)

The staff here is extremely friendly and accommodating.

They are known for their sushi and I've ordered around a dozen rolls and they all look amazing. They taste phenomenal.
Their menu also includes several Chinese adapted dishes. The adaptations aren't all that out there. They're just this type of noodle instead of that one or they add carrots. It still tastes amazing.

My sister flew out from California and she's vegetarian and their vegetarian versions of their Chinese dishes are still amazing as well as their vegetarian sushi choices.

I’ve been coming here ever since I was a little kid and never once have they dropped the ball on me. The food is amazing! No matter what when someone brings up sushi I bring up Lotus! The staff is so kind and the service is quick and efficient! The owner will never fail to come check on you and make sure that your satisfaction and standards are met. I was in town for a few reasons and I took my buddy and his girlfriend out for his birthday. We figured on hibachi for the evening, and, not living in the area, they chose Lotus.
While good, it was not very memorable. There was a huge group of folks sitting with us, so their conversations really took over. This was not the restaurant's fault by any means, but it did kind of put a damper on the night.
The hibachi chef did the standard flipping of the utensils and the onion volcano, but to be honest, I wasn't paying much attention to it, as it was nothing I haven't seen before already. Once again, not a knock on the restaurant.
I got some sushi for an appetizer and the steak and shrimp for my entrée. To be honest, I don't remember when my friends got, but they did get drinks that were SO STRONG! I guess they wanted to give him a birthday present. That was nice for my friend.
Overall, while it was a good place to eat and the food was tasty, it was missing something that made it memorable. Would I come here again? Maybe. Would it be my first choice? Probably not.

We had a group of 8 ladies. Some of us ordered egg rolls and the vegetable egg rolls were so tiny, less than a half in. diameter. The shrimp egg roll had very little shrimp in it.Then they brought out the white rice to go with the dinners. ..two small bowls for 8 of us. When we asked for another bowl the waitress didn't really want to bring one, but she did. If you go there at lunch they give that size bowl for 2 people.Because of the rice and egg roll problem tonight was a disappointment.The dinners we're ok otherwise, but our group won't be back

My husband and I always passed this place and decided today was the day to try it and boy we were disappointed. We were approached by our waitress who sat us down and appeared unenthusiastic but anyways onto the important part, so basically the food was bland. We ordered the house fried rice, crispy hot chicken, and shrimp egg foo young. The rice was very oily and had a lot of filler veggies to make up for the lack of protein (pork, chicken, shrimp and beef) which btw the shrimp isn’t deveined. The chicken wasn’t even mildly spicy but had nice crisp to it and the egg foo young but also had uncleaned shrimp in it. Overall it was a lack luster experience and will not be back.

Incredible food! Best foo young I have had in my life (seriously!) I went in to the restaurant to order take out. The waitress allowed me to sit in a booth while I waited and even brought me a water while I waited. I am not a sushi fan but their fresh sushi bar smelled.fantastic. I do like the smell of fish and this was really fresh and looked wonderful. I would like to go in the evening some time on a date as the atmosphere is pleasant. High ceilings, rich tones of brown for decor. Can't wait to be in the area again!

I order from here way too often lol. Absolutely love their sushi, especially the Oak Creek Roll. They also have a back room you can use for birthday lunches, etc. Love this Oak Creek gem!
