Was in town for a long weekend with friends and we had dinner here every night. The food and service was amazing. Everyone made us feel so welcome. We odered pizza, hamburgers, sandwiches, tacos and soup. All of it was great. Thank you Louie for having a great establishment and customer service. Until we meet again.

I have been here twice and have not been disappointed. It's a fun vibe with stories on the wall, being family owned and operated, you get the feeling of belonging. Now for the food, I love soup, they change weekly, and I have had the Mac and Cheese soup as well as the Lasagna soup, they were both AMAZING. I also went with the chef salad with the parm dressing, complete delight and PLENTY of food in the dish. My hubby had a mushroom and Swiss and he loved it! Highly recommended if you are in the Hayward area.

I was a witness to a verbal altercation between a customer and the waitress Julie. My mom and dad frequent this place a lot and I went with them to experience what they so often love to do. However, unfortunately I have to say the waitress was incredibly rude & throughout the customer(s) time being there I noticed the waitress’s demeanor deteriorate. (it was a 3 top), the waitress also involved 2 other customers in the argument which my parents said were regulars, however they came in at the end of the situation and didn’t know exactly what was going on. I felt horrible for this lady & her family. Please think before contributing to this behavior and atmosphere and try a different place. Just my opinion, thanks!

Have a cabin in the area and have been coming to Hayward for 30+ years. Came here for the first time on my most recent trip up and love this place. Had a buffalo chicken sandwich one day and a pizza the next. Both really good. Clean inside and owner was very engaged with entire bar and made it feel like an “at home” atmosphere. Really hope this place makes it for the long haul and will be back every time I’m in town.

I've known him for years and the family knows how to run a bar. Great atmosphere, great staff, great food. Nothing has changed from his parents old place and I couldn't be happier about it.
If you are near Hayward you have to stop by and enjoy some delicious food. I had the chicken parm sandwich and couldn't recommend it enough.

We rented a cabin on moose lake and went here for dinner and everything was delicious! Some of us ordered the broasted chicken and it was a large portion and Soo good! Coleslaw tastes like homemade and yummy too! They have WiFi which was Soo nice since we didn't have any service at our cabin and cheese curds are delicious too! Very clean and homey place! We found a new favorite place to go to when we come back!

Phenomenal neighborhood bar and grill with a sports bar feel. This smaller gem is off the beaten path of the other Hayward bar and grill establishments. Great selection of beers/drinks and their food is top notch. The place is immaculately clean. Their summer daily specials really hit the spot. On this particular stop, I tried the Lou's pizza. It was the best pizza in Hayward (in my opinion). They have typical bar gaming devices for entertainment. The bar and kitchen staff are very friendly.
