First time there, wasn’t good. We were told by the greeter that we could not sit in the ‘nice areas’ (which were all empty tables..) because ‘they were reserved for parties’.

Second, we were seated at a table in the back area, then had to go up to the counter to actually place our orders.

The lemon pepper sauce we selected had a bad odor to it., The rest of the food was so-so.

The seafood was not worth the 4.4 stars because I ordered the double double and it claim to have 1 pound of snow crab leg and one pound of shrimp with 6 potatoes and 3 corn and 6 corn bread but my boil came with 3 potatoes and 3 corn and two corn bread. It wasn't that good and not worth almost $100 dollars for small boil. Plus I travel 2 hours just to try the seafood.

I’ve been here a few times but the last time (yesterday) was the most disappointing and I think I won’t be back. My bags seem to always have the right spice but the flavor is really just lacking. It doesn’t taste as good as it looks in person or TikTok. This last time I went with my husband his bag was cold, which normally it’s steaming and the corn bread was hard. It was disappointing because he only went for the cornbread and it was just horrible this time. The only reason why I’m leaving a review this time is because we’re both sick the next day. This never happened before but this last time we said our bags didn’t taste as decent but played it off as his bag being a little cold. Overall it’s worth a try but I think there are better places.

First piece of advice, never leave a tip on food you have to order and pay for first, because you don’t know how the service will be. I usually take cash for tips. The service here was a beyond awful. Had to go and ask for everything. I had to go and ask for crackers to open the crab with. Now that seems like common sense. And when I did ask, they never even brought out enough for everyone. When you’re at a restaurant, you shouldn’t have to share utensils. That is lazy and ridiculous.

The staff acted as if serving a customer was an inconvenience. They were too busy having conversations with each other.

The food was really bad. It was oily. The seafood tasted as if it wasn’t fresh, and as I write this, my stomach is upset, which makes me think I may have food poisoning.

I would avoid this place.

Went here for the first time and definitely won't be the last! Great atmosphere, the food was amazing and the owner was absolutely incredible! What an incredible experience! All around. The food was just perfect; the seasonings, the quality of seafood! Everything was just done right! Hi I saw so many seafood boils on tiktoc and wanted to try one so bad ! This place popped up and i could not recommend it more ! The wings are also incredibly good, crunch but really juicy and tender. We had crab shrimp corn potatoes and hard boiled eggs. it was well worth the price. The manager also came around and asked how we liked our food and recommended different heat levels for the next time we stopped by. Go if you're in the mood for some yummy flavorful food !

My daughter and i ordered the Payday Combo and It was super good and a ton of food- we couldn't even finish it all. The jalapeño cornbread is fantastic. My son ordered the Crab Cluster Combo and their online menu clearly states it includes 2 clusters so we were disappointed to see it actually only came with one. The decor is cute and welcoming. That said, several things will prevent us from going back..
- When you order at the counter they ask you to tip. I absolutely hate when restaurants ask you to tip before you are actually provided the service in which you are tipping. I tipped $10 for someone to carry one tray of food to our table, never to be seen again. Annoying. We paid for water at the counter because the girl at the register didn’t tell us someone would be bringing us cups of water. Also annoying.
- You are provided zero metal utensils. It’s plastic or nothing. I asked someone working there if there was any kind of tools available to crack the crab with and she said no. I said, “i have no idea how to open crab claws without tools” and she replied “fine, I’ll go wash one and bring it out to you”. Gee thanks. All three of us had to share one nut cracker which was super inconvenient.
- Lastly, the place is super dirty despite there being a lot of employees buzzing around and congregating at the counter. Our table had dirty paper towels under it that I had to kick out of the way several times. The sink available for hand washing (since you are not given utensils you have to use your hands), was disgusting, had no towels and the soap pump was filled with water with the tiniest bit of diluted soap.
In summary, this place definitely has potential but seems to be lacking a responsible manager on duty. The kids/young adults working there are young and either don’t really care that much about meeting customer ecxpectations or just lack the wherewithal to properly run a restaurant.

I guess it’s my fault for assuming that the online menu matched the restaurant menu. 🙄 Not the case. The prices remain the same but the portions do not. The online menu states that with the crab combo, you receive two claws, thats incorrect, you actually get one.

So if you’re looking at the menu online and think that you’re better off getting two claws for $30.50 than building your own combo with one claw for $22, you’re better off building your own.
I brought this up with a server and they said that they only go by the prices in the restaurant so take that as you will.

First off they charged me 100 for a crab boil with only ONE cluster of snow crabs and one leg was missing. They didn’t add the potato’s and corn to my bag then I waited a additional 20 mins for the corn jus to discover they didn’t add the potatoes either once I told them they argued with me and did not want to accommodate until I demanding a full refund and gave the food back. They were very racist and rude the shrimp was over cooked and the eggs were old. My friend stomach was hurting immediately after finishing. Food tasted as if it sat out all day. 0/10 I would not recommend.

So the place is a vibe it was me and my friends first time!! We didn’t get told about the station for washing hands and leftovers plus they had gloves etc. it’s by the register.

The “butter” sauce I got on the side because I have trust issues. But for this reason I took most of my food home to use real butter 🧈 because their signature sauce is made of lots of oil not so much real butter that’s the only reason they didn’t get 5 stars it was horrible.

Me and my friend were displeased by the oil sauce.

We will look around for a different spot before we return will return due to proximity.

I knew from the moment they only gave me 2 King Crab legs for $75, I was going to end this whole business. The audacity to charge $75 for 2 King Crab legs is insane to me, MAKE IT MAKE SENSE!!

Everything was phenomenal! The seasonings in the seafood boil were delicious and definitely had a good spice level. All seafood was very fresh tasting and cooked. The cornbread was the best tasting I’ve ever had, and wasn’t dry like many others are. I went to the milwaukee location today for dinner I ordered the payday and the food was super fishy potatoes weren’t cooked all the way and the everything spice was disgusting super oily and chunky bitter garlic pieces the corn bread was bland and super dried out. Most of all the prices were outrageous for a cluster of crab and shrimp that still had peels and the black veins still running through the back. 49.99 is a joke and a scam. I would rather go to red lobster for a 1/3 of price. I felt sick not to long after dining there and I now feel robbed of my money and health.

My family and I recently visited Low Country in Milwaukee for my brother's birthday, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The service was spot on, the atmosphere was fun and lively, and the food was incredible.

I ordered lemon pepper chicken wings along with snow crab and mussels in their 'very hot everything' sauce. The wings were easily some of the best I've had in a while, and the mussels and snow crab with the sauce were equally impressive.

I didn't catch the manager's name, but she was really great. She actively engaged with all the guests, ensuring everyone was enjoying their time and felt welcome.

Overall, between the food and service quality, this spot is a must-visit. I'll definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

Nice atmosphere. Really nice patio setup for outdoor dining. Spacious front/rear dining areas. Visited on Saturday with fam. Bars mod decor with wall mounted flat screens tuned to sports channels. Had the combo A (1 lb. of shrimp, potatoes, corn on cob and Jalapeno cornbread.) Served altogether except the cornbread lowcountry boil style in a oven bag. Honestly I felt they bailed it. Food came within a reasonable from ordering. Food was hot, tasty and worth the 30usd for the meal. Garlic a little overbearing but did not shut out the other food taste. Bib, gloves, napkins readily avail. Convenient sink to wash up after eating centrally located. Great experience. Will go again.

We had a large group (12) and were going to stop in to Low Country just for a drink. As soon as we walked in the door, the savory aroma of Cajun cooking enveloped us and made our mouths water. We knew we had to try their food. To our surprise, they were able to seat our group in the dining area immediately. Drinks were on point, the food was fantastic, and the service was impeccable. Mindy and her staff were amazing! We had wings, popcorn chicken, waffle fries, cheese curds, and homemade egg rolls (Mindy hand-rolls them), and Cajun seafood combos that came with corn on the cob, potatoes, and cornbread. Everything - and I mean EVERYTHING - was delicious. We will be back!

Can't really say much cause when I showed up on a Thursday afternoon at 6 pm when the place was "suppose" to be open, they locked the door on me. Not really sure why? Maybe they didn't want any more people in that they had to serve? Not sure. There was only maybe a handful of people in there when I looked in, but when i knocked on the door for someone to unlock the door, 3 patrons and 2 servers just looked at us out the door and walked away. That was enough to convince me that I didn't need to return. Which is unfortunate, cause there's not many good seafood options in town. The employees that did see that we were locked out, didn't really seem to be concerned or care either. I'd give negative stars if Google allowed it.

Went here about half an hour before closing and was told that no sit down seats were avilable but we could place a to go order. My family stayed in a 25 min line to order while I went to the bar for a drink.
Neither of us had a good experience. My husband and kiddos finally made it to the front of the 25 min line, just to be told they have no crab legs. She stated any fried food they can make, but why the heck would we be there for some fried food?
Meanwhile at the bar..I wasn't having a good experience either. I stood at the bar, the bartender saw me, we made eye contact and he says nothing. A simple head nod or any sort of acknowledgement would have been helpful but nope nothing. I finally spoke up and asked if the bar was still taking orders for drinks as I had been standing there with no indication that he was going to do anything for me. He seemed more preoccupied with a friend he had at the bar than anything else. I felt like I was annoying him. Also, I noticed that this friend also got a fresh bucket in front of him, now I can't say for certain that they served him food after the supposed closed hours but I can say my spidy senses are saying something ain't right. I never got the chance to order food and I guess I never will. I will not be back.

On December 22, my friend and I attempted to place a togo order over the phone but got no answer. We then proceeded to try and place an order online, and received a message stating that their online ordering was unavailable as well. We checked to see if they were even open and according to google they were. After deciding to just go place a togo order in person, we arrived at the store and were immediately racially targeted. Upon arriving at the store, we kindly approached a team member (bartender)and asked if their phones were in service because we had tried calling multiple times but received no answer. There were other (caucasian) customers around and being
taken care of by this team member that were not receiving the same tone and unprofessionalism my friend and I were receiving. The team member was incredibly rude and defensive when we were simply just trying to let the store know that their phone and online ordering is not working. As an African American woman with experience in diversity and inclusion, I was appalled by the way we were approached and treated not only by this team member, but also by management when I brought it to their attention. I am not from Milwaukee and take pride in making sure I come to this restaurant every time I visit not only to support, but also because I love the food so much. I will not be returning after this unacceptable experience and will not be encouraging anyone, especially minorities, to support this business any further. The level of customer service was disgusting especially considering it was clearly racially driven.

A Memorable Birthday Celebration at Low Country

We celebrated my wife's birthday at Low Country, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The staff's exceptional service added to the joy of the occasion. They were attentive, friendly, and made us feel truly welcomed.

The culinary journey was nothing short of delightful. The shrimp, crab, potatoes, sausage, and rice dish was a flavorful masterpiece, perfectly complemented by the tantalizing hot sauce. Each bite was a burst of deliciousness, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients and expert preparation. Beignets were also very tasty!!!

The ambient atmosphere at Low Country added a special touch to the celebration. It was a perfect blend of warmth and sophistication, creating a setting that enhanced the joy of the gathering.

From the delicious treats to the top-notch service and inviting ambiance, Low Country exceeded our expectations. It was an unforgettable birthday celebration, thanks to the restaurant's dedication to creating a memorable dining experience. We look forward to returning to savor more of their culinary delights. The place is beautiful. The service was ok I was expecting the food to be better than what it was the seafood was cooked well but the sauce was very salty and also the cornbread looked amazing but it was disgusting I will come back in the near future but that will not be a top pick for me as far as seafood

Always love the food, the service, and the atmosphere 👌. Mindy and her staff always go above and beyond. It's always a good time when my family and friends go to low country regardless of whether it's stopping in for a drink, having dinner, or reserving for a party. Could you please tell people that rice or noodles comes with the boils like instead of saying, will that be all, asking if you would like rice or noodles? I had to pay extra for rice because I didn't figure that out after paying over 50 bucks which wasn't a bad price.

Overall, we came in for the special. 35 dollars for the lobster boil which includes lobster, crab, shrimp,corn on the cob, potatoes, and cornbread. I also tried the beneigs ( I think that's how it's spelled). Everything was absolutely delicious. The server was very kind.

Visited this place for the first time on Sunday 10/29/23. There was a party of 40 of us. Our time was 4 to 6pm. Mind you the restaurant opens at 4pm. Upon arrival I went to the restroom. No soap in either dispenser. How’s this possible when you literally just opened? Then, the disorganization when it came to handling our party. We were waiting for ordering assistance after being seated. It took 30 minutes before staff told us we need to line up and order individually at the cashier station. This process took another 30-45 minutes. Then after reaching the register, there’s a sign charging 3.25% for using a card. So I chose to pay cash. Then was told there is a 15% gratuity added for service! What service? We didn’t get water, silverware a bucket, gloves or anything! A member from our own party acted as our server to gather up the supplies that should’ve been provided.
The restaurant offered no apologies, no comp, no service no nothing and if there would’ve been other options nearby, we would’ve left! It’s basically fast subpar for masquerading as a full service restaurant. It was my first and ABSOLUTE LAST time ever dining in this establishment! It definitely ranks in my top 5 worst restaurants I’ve ever been to.

Very good! Reasonably priced. The table behind us had been full of trash for about 20 minutes until it was cleaned which was a little weird. Overall, we really enjoyed the food. They had a wash station in the middle of the restaurant for after your meal, when your hands are drenched in butter, I do however wish there were wet wipes that came with the meal. It’s always a struggle finding parking in Downtown Milwaukee, however it was easy finding it next to the restaurant.

It’s a NO for me. My bag came not mixed with sauce, just a thick glob of garlic sitting in middle of bag. When I mentioned it to the waitress, she stated that they forgot to shake the back up. I shook the bag and nothing really changed…

Another thumbs down is that you get minimal food compared to other crab boil restaurants especially for the price.

The restaurant also has a fruit fly infestation that made it impossible for us to enjoy our meal. The waiter noticed how bad it was in our area and went to report it to the manager. She looked over and motioned that she would be right over but she never came so we left and won’t be back.

Everyone here has been hating lately but I love going here. From the donuts to even the just the sauce. "People" complained so now their wings are just like everyone else's now. The point of meat tasting the same is that you get to pick your flavors. I'm laughing at the guy that likely ordered the same flavor of wings as shrimp and complained they tasted the same.

We went a few days ago and had an amazing experience. Mindy the GM is an incredible person. We took my step son for his bday because he wanted crab legs along with my daughter and step daughter. My 3 year old was over tired, over stimulated and we were having a rough time at first looking at the menu and getting settled. I think Mindy seen or sensed it because she came over and basically turned my toddler into a whole new child. My daughter climbed right to her & Mindy took her to help place our order, showed her how things worked at the restaurant. She also had my toddler help bring our bucket and drinks to the table. Our 3 year old was so happy and proud. My toddler was happy and we were able to enjoy and awesome dinner. Thank you Mindy! The world needs more people like you.

The food was quick and delicious. The crawfish were HUGE! (Compared to other places I've been)
Service was stellar and we will definitely recommend and be back some time!!!

I love seafood and make crab at home all the time, so I am always hesitant to go out for it because of the price. Low Country MKE has very reasonable prices and did not disappoint! the seasoning offerings ry in the seafood boil are sooo yummy! It tastes like nothing I could make at home. The vegetables are fresh and not previously frozen. The staff was great and the ambiance is delightful.
