We were really disappointed with our experience at Lucky Chucky’s. There are no signs anywhere that say dogs aren’t allowed on the outdoor patio, and the hostess sat us without a problem. After we had already ordered, the manager came over in a very rude manner and told us we had to remove our dog unless he was a service animal. We have a small, well-behaved dog, and if we had been told upfront, we never would have sat down in the first place. Instead, I had to walk him back to the car after we were already settled, which was frustrating and embarrassing.

The only reason I didn’t give this place 1 star is because our waitress was actually pretty decent and took care of our table well. But overall, the lack of clear signage and the way the situation was handled left a bad taste in our mouths.

Tough night for a normally great place. Seated right away, first drink delivered. Crickets for 25 minutes. It was a beautiful day to get out on two wheels so my wife and I took the long way to Lucky Chucky's for a late lunch. We love their menu and you can't beat the location. We had the Ahi stack for an appetizer, chicken po'boy and mahi sandwiches for our meals. I asked our server, Lilly, if I could do the mahi blackened instead of fried which was no problem! We had a really nice experience here. Our server, Nathan, gave us excellent advice about the menu and provided excellent service. We ordered the ahi tuna appetizer and the asada tacos. The appetizer had the perfect combination of textures and flavors. The tacos were great. The drinks were great, too. We had the beach sangria and coconut mojito. It’s a fun place with a beach vibe. Tuesday night 7/22 14 of us, not busy. Some ordered cocktails others ordered water some had beer. Each cocktail came out 1 by 1. Ordered food and I had chicken wings and they were so dry thank God I had sauce on the side. 8 wings for $14.00? Absolutely crazy. They took alot off the menu that was good like the shrimp boil, crab leg boil, cast iron chicken sandwich and Brussel sprouts. Not 1 chicken sandwich offered on the menu which I like a good grilled chicken sandwich. My family was here from Florida but most of us are from the area. Lucky Chucky's you can do better with the menu. I might add the waitress was somewhat attentive but never came back to ask us how the food was. My long island iced tea was terrible more sour than anything. The spotted cow my father in law got was flat and the jack and coke my boyfriend ordered ended up to be brandy and coke. It was not that busy to screw up drinks, not get what we ordered and not get condiments when we asked for them. Will not be coming back

I have to come back to change my review, as I recently tried Lucky Chucky’s again 2 years later - because the food was exceptional and I was very happy with the experience and that I gave it another chance. We went on a Friday, but it wasn’t too busy. No room on the outdoor patio, so we sat in the enclosed patio, which still had a nice view of the lake. I am excited to go back again.

From the food to the service to the atmosphere, Lucky Chucky’s left everything to be desired. The place was just empty, nothing was on the tables (like salt/pepper/ketchup) and there were very few people there, and us being there felt like a bother. This was possibly because of them not having a lot of employees working…there were signs all over the doors and counters stating they were understaffed and our server told us as well. I just ended up feeling bad.

The food was extremely bland. The fries were great, the tacos had some potential, and the grilled chicken sandwich was just a plain, unseasoned chicken breast with the weirdest aftertaste of burger. I had heard good things about Lucky Chucky’s, so maybe this was a one off experience, but I was unfortunately disappointed.

Wanted to go out to dinner and I have a small chihuahua that I like to take with me sometimes. They have a large patio with lots of tables. I went to the hostess and told her it is me and my dog for the patio. I was walked by the bar and given a table. I was waiting to order and had a staff person come up and tell me dogs aren't allowed even on the patio. I have never been any place that didn't allow leashed small dogs on the patio. Then when I went to leave the same staff person that was telling me to leave put up her hand and harshly said don't go through there. I told her the hostess brought me through that way. Many people have small dogs they take places and to alienate them is bad business. There is no reason a well behaved dog can't be in the patio, they allow service animals. At least if you seat me by mistake don't embarrass me and kick me out. Let me know you don't allow dogs (which again on the patio should not be an issue) but let me stay that one time since it was your staffs mistake.

They jammed nine of us at a six-person table because we had kids. Needed to grab a chair for myself. They also missed an item on our order.

The kids chicken wings were beyond bland and a weird spongy texture. Not sure if it was even chicken or not. The kids nachos were just a plate cheese and chips for $8.

It's a beach bar, so there are several seafood options. Also, some Asian fusion dishes. Of course, there is the standard fare of burgers, chicken wings, fusion tacos, etc.

On Saturday night there was a live band which started at 8. Good musicians, fun music.

Decent list of draft beers. The cocktails were heavey on the rum drinks and seemed on the sweet side.

My favorite dish is the Asada Steak Bowl!! But literally every time we have eaten here it’s been fantastic! Corey is super attentive and goes above and beyond to make sure her customers are well taken care of! ❤️

Came for fish fry. The fried shrimp was awesome with the light breading. Husband ordered 3 different tacos and the shrimp and asada were his favorites. Felice our wait person was great - especially with how busy they were. Would highly recommend.
