I have been here three times and have never been disappointed with the food, the guacamole is fantastic (make sure you get the full order because when you finish the half you’ll want more). The service is always friendly and attentive, but the problem is with the timing of the food. All three times I’ve been here they have consistently stacked up the food you start your appetizer and boom you’re soup or salad is on the table, twice before I could even start my soup/salad my main course is on the table. It is wonderful that the service is so fast but it comes down to your choice of which food you wish to eat cold, sometimes it feels like you are being rushed.

The food was great, we had a waitress that did not care that we were there. Mind you that there was about 15 tables being served in the total restaurant. After we were seated, table of 4, it was about 20 minutes before we were asked what we wanted to drink, and my father ordered a salad that came with his meal. Eventually when his salad came out, she slid it across the table, with the dressing landing on his lap. That was the last time we seen her until the check. She disdt come and ask how the food was, if we needed anything, nothing. I understand people have difficult days and if that was the case, let is know. On top of that, when we were on on way out and explaining the situation to another server, she laughed, she has piercings and tats all over, which I dont care bc I have the same, but the entire experience was so unprofessional, I cant believe the 2 of them still work there. On top of that we were charged full price for everything. Last time we go there for anything and will be voicing against them

Great food and service! We went on a Thursday and ordered the special (order 2 entrees and get a free desert). I ordered the Greek Freak (similar as gyros but made with seasoned chicken), hubby got the pulled pork mac n cheese. For desert we ordered the funnel cake fries. Everything was delicious. For a cocktail, we both ordered the hurricane margarita. Yummy! We'll definitely be back when we're in the area.

I don't eat out much because it's usually disappointing, but yesterday I came with my family and all of the food was delicious, I also had a hard time deciding, so many choices that sound yummy and we will be back to try some other food. I don't remember servers name and apologize for that, she was great, but I did stop at hostess station to share my experience and met the manager who was also very nice , my son and his fiance live and Burlington and eat here often and said everything is always delicious and service is equally great, if you haven't been there you should check it out.

We came in this morning for breakfast and the place was not that busy… we waited 20 minutes and never were talked to by a server and atleast 4 walked by and didn’t even acknowledge us. Highly disappointing experience. First, we attempted to order ribeye, which we had specifically come for, but found out it's no longer on the menu. Wish this would have been updated to accurately reflect on the website and the in-house menu. Tried the NY strip instead and it was not a good piece of meat and was also cooked well done when I ordered medium. They did take it back, but by the time I received my new steak the rest of my party was pretty much done eating which does not make for an enjoyable dining experience. The second steak, though cooked accurately, was still a poor quality meat.

I understand that things happen, however, I always appreciate when mistakes are addressed. Not handled in any positive or accommodating way by the restaurant.

We had a group of 9 for my dad's 84th birthday yesterday and we had the best service ever! There were 9 of us that went here for our father’s 84th birthday on 3/25/25 at 5:00. We made a reservation although one wasn’t needed. She asked if we needed wheelchair accommodations or anything special. They had our table ready at the time we reserved it.
Our server was Wyatt. He was the best ever!! Very funny, courteous and patient. The one thing I can say is that he told us about any UPCHARGE on anything we ordered or inquired about. My biggest pet peeve is when servers don’t tell you that. I told him that he will get an xtra tip just for telling us. He joked around with us about it. He was witty and liked to have fun. One of the best I have had in a long time.
It was taco night, so BOGO. I had the twisted tacos which were pretty good, my husband had the Baja fish tacos and he says they were very good. Others had the steak burger and ribs in which they said were good. We didn’t care for the street corn as it is different flavor than we ever tasted. Had a spice and a sour taste. Soups are fabulous.
The lasagna soup is our favorite!! We have been here a few times and always liked it. Request WYATT as your server if you go!! I would also like to give a shout out to the gal that was up front and served us at the bar. Very friendly and helpful!!

We went there for lunch. We were seated right away. Another couple came in after us, & were waited on. We waited, & waited. The other table ordered drinks, received their drinks, & ordered their food! Meanwhile, NOBODY came to our table, the other table was right behind us. Several servers walked by & looked at our empty table & kept walking(our menus were still in front of us). We didn't even get water! We finally got up & walked out. We said something to 2 off the servers, they replied 'that's Jess table'. I don't care WHO'S table it is, you all saw us not being waited on, not to mention Jess was the server for the table right by us, so she saw us there as well!!
We've been to this establishment several times & love the food. This happened a couple years ago & we stopped going for awhile. While we really enjoy the food, this service makes it hard to come back!!

I was looking for a place in Burlington for my mom and I to eat when we have to do errands...breakfast, lunch, etc. I've driven past Lucky Star before and thought it was only a bar. My friend frequents here with family and friends and thought we would like it. She was SO right! The staff was outstanding (Kayla,,,that means YOU, and Andy, too), the coffee good and strong, and the breakfasts we ordered amazing (Eggs Benedict and Pancakes w/eggs). The prices for everything on the menu is very reasonable. I look forward to going back!

First time being there. I heard so much about this place from a friend so my husband and I decided to go for breakfast after getting our oil changed at Miller.
We loved it. The place is extremely clean which is a big thing for me. The staff is so nice. But yes the food it was delicious. I had the breakfast quesadillas it was by far the best I ever had. There were beans and rice on the side and they were so good. I could have had a meal alone with just the beans. Made perfectly. My husband had eggs and bacon. The coffee was great as well. The young woman as our server was very sweet and kind. Clearly likes her job.
We were there on 12/24/24 at 9:00 am.
We will be back my husband asked for a pen with their logo on it so he remembers to go back. Lol! We live in East Troy.
