Never again. The waitress informed us right away it was her second night. Having a customer service background, I said no worries & coached her through our group of 8. Other servers brought our food out & unfortunately we received food incorrect & they even forgot an entire meal. Our original waitress came out from the back (almost in tears) to find out what the missing order was. She said she didn’t think she wrote down nachos & started to hurry away (very much ready to cry). It was specific nachos with no this & that, so I asked her to wait & told her it was okay, just look at your notes. I had my back to the bar/kitchen but was told when the nachos came out the other server who was bringing them to the table dropped the sour cream on the floor, picked it up & placed it back on top of the nachos. When she arrived at our table she threw them down in front of the person waiting to eat them (sitting directly across from me). Enough “umph” of a toss that everyone at the table turned because they could tell it was inappropriate. That waitress hurried away & we looked at each other wondering what just happened. A few minutes later another woman came to our table, also with an attitude. My father, dumbfounded by what just happened asked if there was a problem & asked who was in charge. Lucky us, it was her in charge. She proceeded to tell us that she has an employee crying in the back & that we were rude. Not sure what we did, I asked & she said we rolled our eyes when the food came out. I’m sure I did, you gave me a wrap & put my chicken on the side 🤔 that’s not how I ordered it & my bonus mom takes forever to eat because of her disability & she has no food. So no, never again will my family be disrespected because of your mistakes. Ps. Our original server did surface & said she had no problem with us at all.

Extremely disappointed in the service. Watching staff stand around avoiding eye contact chatting with each other while we waited 45 minutes for a burger & chicken wrap was beyond ridiculous. Ended up leaving because we were out of time.

Decided to give this place a chance again.
Friday our service was great, the young man seemed to want to earn his tip. Bluegill and fried cod were just ok. Sunday afternoon we went for a bite before I had to go to work. Walk up to the bar and get ignored for a few minutes. Waitress took our order, just two sodas, a burger and a wrap. 45 min later we're still sitting there without even a check in or update for us. Paid for our sodas and left.
What is it with this place and its employees? Do none of them like to make money?! We may not be regulars but we are locals who go out a lot.

We've been here before and always had a good experience. Today's visit, however, was a great disappointment.

Before I begin, please note that I prefer not to leave a rating lower than 3 stars. Before I do so, I always try to discuss with the manager. Before leaving, I asked "may I speak to the manager?" The response was an immediate and disgruntled "why?" To me, that speaks volumes.

Service was absolutely horrible. When we arrived and picked our table, we weren't greeted for over 10 minutes. I generally don't mind waiting, but several of the staff walked by without saying anything, for example, "we'll be with you soon." And when we were finally greeted, it was very much not a greeting. There was no "welcome" or "how are you?" It was the most transactional experience I've ever had.

We each ordered a drink...both promptly received. Side note: White Claw is not analogous with Carbliss. When we got our drinks, we thought it was time to order dinner. Menus were out, but at that point closed because we knew what we wanted. There was no "would you like to order?" We had to prompt, which seemed to bother the waitress/bartender. She had to go and get her pen and pad.

Food was up fairly quick. I ordered the Brisket Sandwich. Despite looking good, the beef was tough...more like a couple of pieces of beef jerky with BBQ sauce on it.

Service continued to be dismal. There was no follow up to see if we needed anything (except another drink when we were ready to leave). We asked for the bill. Again we waited...and waited. Once I had the bill, I tried to pay using the Clover QR code. It didn't work. We waited a little longer, then I finally went to the bar to pay. This is when I asked to speak to a manager.

If we ever decide to go to Lucy's again, I'll update this review accordingly.

Three stars is the lowest review I will give. I'm being generous right now. My husband & I stopped in today at 6³⁰; there were 4 bartenders on a pretty low-volume day, about 20 customers. We waited 10 minutes before a bartender came to take our order. 10 minutes. In those 10 minutes, 3 bartenders walked past us, and 3 bartenders made eye contact with us from behind the bar. Finally, we saw one bartender talk to another regarding us, as she was staring right at us at the time. Before the bartender came to our table, she stopped at another table to check in on them. Finally, we were asked what we'd like to order. I ordered a Black Cherry Carbliss. When she came back to the table, she said they were out of BCC but offered a BC White Claw. Uhh...NOT equivalent, thanks. The bartender then turned to walk away, even though we both had closed menus in front of us (and I'm certain they saw the menus opened, previously). I had to stop her and ask if we could place an order.
I ordered a Rueben wrap, vs sandwich. It was tiny in comparison (I've ordered the Reuben before). It was very void of meat and cost an extra $1 for a wrap.

When the bartender came to ask how our food was, she started walking away without asking if we wanted another drink; we've now been here for an hour. I addressed the drink before she walked away.

Previously, we had great experiences here...tonight is a game changer. We will try again to see if this is the new norm. I'm hoping this is this bartenders first day at such a job and not indicative of how Lucy's is doing business these days.

Crappy service. 3 of us ordered at the same time. 2 burgers a taco pizza, plus an appetizer. The appetizer eventually came, a burger a minute later, a second burger a few minutes after, and shortly after, I was told they don't have the base for the pizza. I wish I had canceled then. On Friday evening my friend and I decided we wanted a traditional Friday night Fish Fry, while we had a casual business meeting. The restaurant was pretty busy but we got a table right away.
The food was delicious! It actually came out of the kitchen so fast we hardly had time for the business discussion.
We were quite impressed.
But at the end of our meeting, as we were saying goodbye, I accidentally left my tote bag on the table, and didn’t realize that it was missing until I was part way home. I immediately called Lucy’s Hideaway and asked if anyone had found my tote. Yes!
Thank God! I appreciate the honesty and recovery of my important business documents. I will definitely recommend stopping by, and enjoying the nice people, great food and hospitality!

Best Fish Fry in the area! Service is a little slow but that is because it is ALWAYS packed, for a reason. Fish is light and flakey, the cheesy potatoes are creamy, drinks are strong. I used to love this place. My husband and I have tried to give it another shot multiple times after ownership change. Your food is good but service is terrible. Tonight was the final straw for us. The dark haired bartender was too busy playing with her hair and her phone for 10 minutes while we sat at a table waiting. No hellos nothing. Not busy at all and there was another bartender on staff. We are done.

When we first walked in, it looked fine. Not very busy. But it took forever to get a drink, forever to get our order taken and well over 45 mins to get our food. My sandwich was boring. My wife said hers was exceptional. However, when we paid our bill, our card was run for a different customer. Used to be our go to place, been locals for 3 years. New older guy bartender messed up our order three visits in a row. First time gave me a "rum and coke" with tequila. Stopped on our way home for lunch from a state bowling tournament. There were two people working. We ordered appetizers, mozzarella sticks and loaded tots. The rest of our group came in and ordered drinks. When we received our appetizers an hour later I was a little peeved that it took so long to get them. Nobody ever came to take our lunch order so one girl from our group took everyone’s order and gave it to one of the workers. My husband and I didn’t order lunch, we figured if it took an hour for appetizers how long was it going to take for the other food. We went home.

Lucy's had the BEST burgers but that cook must have left when the pandemic hit. Now it's just okay, nothing to go out of your way for. The staff took our order without writing it down. My husband wondered if it would be right. I said, of course it will, she wouldn't do it that way if she couldn't do it right....well...it was wrong. The wait staff couldn't keep up. The kitchen kept bringing orders out and placing them on the counter to be picked up. People kept coming up to the bar to place their order or pay their bill. It's so uncomfortable to have someone standing next to you trying to order or pay while you're trying to enjoy your dinner. We'll go back but probably only once a year or so.

Don't go if you want to actually be served! I sat for 20 minutes or so with an empty glass! One waitress looked at it three times but thought she's not my customer and left it empty. My waitress looked at it once and did nothing didn't even ask me if I wanted another. Once she walked right by and never looked at me after she gave me my food.
