The restaurant itself is spotless and beautifully set up — a perfect spot for both casual dining and small gatherings.

Want to start by saying, I never give reviews but I must because of the outstanding experience with Luigis. I hired Luigis to provide pizza for our son's rehearsal meal we held that would feed 40 at the Whiting boathouse in Menasha last weekend. I called a few times in the week leading up to the event to determine what to order and whether they could deliver on time and understand the process of payment. Every time I called, they were consistently friendly, they asked reciprocating questions to make sure they would be providing the best experience to us, they helped me assess the amount to order (great job with only 4 small containers of left overs) and they were not offended when I asked about whether their large football pizzas would get soggy in the middle. They understood the importance of me ensuring that we would get high quality/delicious product and have it delivered on time. We ordered four thin football pizzas with different toppings (all correct), one small thin cheese and one gluten free. It was delivered at the exact time I asked for it, by an attentive friendly delivery man. All HOT and ready to be eaten. Sierra called the next day to make sure we had an excellent experience and I could confidently say it was THE BEST! Luigis is a 5/5 pizza place...HIGHLY recommend for any party or just for yourself! We walked in. They told us 30 minute wait it was busy. We waited about 45 minutes and watched three other tables get seated that walked right in after us. (They don’t take reservations.) Clearly they were favoring the “regulars” and us “out of town” people - they had no interest in serving.
After being told “a few more minutes” several times and watching a couple other tables be seated with people that just walked in the door we asked again about getting a seat and… “A couple more minutes.” Then 2 servers had an argument about why we couldn’t be seated at one of the empty tables, and then sat more walk in regulars there. Left cash for the beers we got and walked out

Unless you’re a regular, I would not recommend this place. You may not get any food.

One year Update: I've been back weekly since my first visit over a year ago; and everything I've had is delicious. Now I know they're a 5 every time. Exceptional lasagna! Chicken Parmesan is the Best I've ever had. Get the meat sauce on the spaghetti. Everything is always homemade quality - only better. Their pizza is delicious as well. Very reasonably priced. Service has been excellent, professional and friendly. I now eat here regularly and can't recommend them enough. A local gem.

For being my first time visit i can't say I was impressed. Dining room was not busy by any means, only 3 tables full and a few at the bar when we arrived. We ordered 1 14" meat lover pizza and an order of mozzarella sticks and had placed our order at the same time as another table. Very blatant favoritism for regulars as 2 tables had arrived (addressed by name), ordered, and gotten multiple pizzas and we still haven't seen our appetizers. Just shy of an hour later the appetizers showed up, almost 20min after that the pizza arrived literally as I was walking to the bar to cancel my order. The people that ordered at the same time as us have completed eating and were settling their bill as we just saw the first glimpse of food.

Went to try out Luigis Pizza & Pasta this past Saturday evening after reading the reviews. Although it had just opened for the day there were already several tables seated but still plenty of room for my friend and I and we were taken right to a table by the fireplace which wasn't lit at that time but was a little later. Our server brought us the menus and took our drink orders of Pepsi and root beer and an order of garlic bread and while we waited for her to return we checked out the menus. Luigis has a very comfy and warm interior. Our server brought our drinks and took our orders very quickly we decided as it was our first time here to try both there traditional and deep dish pizza my friend got a half sausage and half pepperoni traditional crust while I got a deep dish pepperoni after taking our orders our server brought us our garlic bread with some marinara on the side. The garlic bread loaf was very good with a good crust and very tasty butter and garlic topping and the marinara was excellent. We enjoyed our bread while enjoying the nice surroundings which as I said were warm and friendly there were a couple of tvs on that were on different channels one showing the football game and another with the news. Our pizza's came out in about 10 or 15 minutes and they were great looking. Now I will tell you the traditional crust was excellent plenty of cheese and Pepperoni and Sausage excellent pizza the deep was also very good plenty of cheese and Pepperoni however I will make one comment about the deep dish if you get it and I will be doing this myself the next time I go. Get it with more than just pepperoni while the edge crust was good it was a bit dry compared to some others I have had at other pizza places and I think that it needs more sauce and other toppings like onions and peppers whether it is green or red or banana peppers and if you like them mushrooms and black olives. But if you get it like I did with just pepperoni you will not get the full enjoyment of the deep dish. So load it up and tell them to add a little extra sauce and I think the deep dish will be perfect. This is not a knock on the deep dish it was very good just advice to anyone who orders it don't make my mistake. It was a great time with excellent service and great pizza.

Although, I've been a customer of Luigis for decades and have ordered nearly 50+ pizzas from them, after my last in house dining experience, I do not foresee myself taking my family there again.

The pizza is alright and by alright, I mean its not great.

I always recalled their pizza to have a bit of a thicker crust, but this time it seemed as though maybe someone messed up on the recipe, as it was much thicker than I could recollect.

Luigis pizza to me was always known to have an ample amount of cheese. So, when we ordered extra cheese I expected to have an extraordinary amount and alas, it was just a regular amount of cheese. I'd say, it was less than I remembered being on pizzas I'd ordered in the past without extra cheese. Maybe, someone messed up in the kitchen because they were being berated by their elderly Italian boss.

Like I said, the pizza was alright. The service, was dreadful.

Upon entering we could here the old Italian guy yelling at some girl in the kitchen to, "Just get out of my kitchen!". I know this is commonplace for Luigis, as having eaten there before, I've heard him yelling at workers. And, I must say yelling and swearing. Might I add, he also had a plate in his hand and was waving it in the girls face while yelling at her.

As we were seated, the old guy appeared to sneer at me. I do not know why, but he must not have liked my tattoos.

We were seated promptly and had our order taken shortly thereafter. We played a few games on the machines while we waited. During waiting for the pizza, all four of our drinks became empty and neglected. Only to be refilled (by a different waitress) after my son went up and asked. The waitress who'd served us initially was literally doing nothing and looking right at our empty drinks.

When our pizza was served, the angry old man had to bring us plates and he was clearly upset. And not only about us not having plates, but apparently at someone in the kitchen, again, because we could hear him yelling at someone.

Seriously, this old guy is always yelling at someone in the kitchen. I used to find it funny, but not so much anymore.

Just as we'd began digging into our 'za, the waitress who initially took our order (and didn't serve it) briskly walked past and asked how it was. Kind of funny, if you ask me.

As other customers were leaving, the old man was sending them salutations and thanking them graciously. When we left, I swear to you, he sneered at me from behind the bar just as he had when we came in.

I was definitely not happy with the food I received. The deep dish is not actually deep dish. It's not very thick in the middle, it just has a high crust in the back. It was also super greasy. I definitely make better pizza at home. I was charged extra for cheese on my salad, but was not informed beforehand. I had assumed they were substituting for the things I took off but that was not discussed. If I knew I was going to be charged extra, I would not have ordered it. Also, I was not happy about the automatic tip. Our entire group was confused as nobody had mentioned it. When I questioned the staff about it they said that it could be read in their menu. When you're with a group of people the last thing you are doing is reading a menu thoroughly. You need to make it clear that you are charging. Most of the group almost left even more of a tip because they did not notice it. I felt very deceived.
We also had to continue to ask for certain things. One of our group members had to get up and go get her own water because staff was nowhere to be found. Honestly, I always tip but this probably would have been a night I didn't. I ended up sick that evening as well within an hour of eating the pizza.
I was so embarrassed to leave half a pizza there. I always take my food to go because I do not like to waste. This is one of the first times I have ever left food behind.
I honestly would like my money back, change my review for the refund, and just not return.

We went on a Friday night with a pretty large group. I tried the fish fry which was just ok, probably would not order again. Everyone else had pizza and loved it! I guess that's what I get for ordering fish at a pizza joint! Service was pretty chaotic, I think we had 3 different servers which caused quite a bit of confusion. Overall not too bad of an experience.

Food was OK, not as good as I remember from a few years ago. The atmosphere was good, there was a band there and they were fun. Looks like they could use a couple more wait staff but it wasn't a weekend night so that could make a difference.

One of the better Philly cheese steaks that I've had in a while. I got mine with onion and mushroom. The waitress was friendly and attentive. I will definitely be back for another visit.

Great old school feel. The meat sauce with my veal Parm was much better than I thought it would be. The veal was just okay. I was also surprised by the pizza. I'm a pizza nut and one of the kids got a pepperoni thin crust, and it was better than anything I've tried around the fox cities. Pretty busy night, food came fast, and service was great.
