We have been eating at Luna Maya almost weekly since the day they opened. I've always loved the place. I pulled up the menu before going in tonight, and discovered that the already high prices (based on comparable Mexican restaurants) were just massively increased to the point that many people in this town probably can't afford them. $20-25 and up per entree is just too much. That's 50 percent more than almost everywhere else in town. I think it's time for my family to take a break from Luna Maya, and I'm really sad to say that.

Menu has been rearranged...and not easy to find things now. Not really by protein or catagory...burritos, etc. Ordered entre based on it having beans, per menu description. Came with rice instead. I love eating at Luna maya, but I have some complaints. I ordered some food for myself and even in my order stated twice that I wanted chicken tacos with corn tortillas. I guess I should’ve looked at my receipt better when I picked it up, because when I got home I got steak tacos with flour tortillas. I didn’t find a need to call them but I did email them thinking I would receive an answer back. I sent this email almost a week ago explaining the situation hearing nothing back. The food tastes great, but I have had multiple instances where my food was messed up. Just a little disappointed.

Pulled in on a Sunday, parking lot wasn’t busy, 2 ladies looking for lunch driving through with a horse trailer. We pulled in the back, pulled out of everyone’s way with PLENTY of parking left.

We enjoyed the food while there. The lunch fajitas were great. The enchiladas were tasty according to my wife. Plenty of chips and salsa. Good service. The issue was the salt. Both of us were really salted up after the meal. I had a large glass of water plus 4 additional bottles of water over the next few hours. We didn't salt anything. Besides that everything was decent. I don't know if I would eat there again. I don't like being salted up.

We've only ever ordered take out, but so far everything has been outstanding. I always get the chili poblano (rellano) - I'm a snob about these. The egg batter is nice and thin, well stuffed with cheese, excellent sauce - sooo good. I also frequently get the cocktail de camarones. The shrimp are huge and perfectly cooked. The tomato broth is not too spicy but vibrant and flavorful. Lots of avocado and onions too. Great chips and salsa, giant burritos, and always very helpful and friendly when placing the order and picking up.

My husband and I have gone to the Italian restaurant across from this place many times. We always saw the Luna Maya sign and told ourselves we would try it one day. Well that one day finally came and we were absolutely NOT disappointed! The service was great! The food came out super fast and super hot, not to mention delicious. This is now our favorite Mexican restaurant and we will gladly drive up from over 30 minutes away to eat here.

It was my first time ordering food from this place. We did take out. We ordered 5 tacos and were given no salsa for them.

I had the worst fajitas I have ever eaten. There wasn't much meat on there, it was all onions, and peppers. I ordered the fajitas that had steak, chicken, and shrimp. What meat there was was so dry, the shrimp (4) were rubbery and the corn tortillas fell apart. I don't mind paying $18.00 but not when you can't eat it.

0 stars if I could. I never post reviews. DO NOT EAT HERE!!! We ordered nachos that were absolutely garbage. Was nothing more than grease over chips covered in refried beans and lettuce. Waiter was aware that we didn't eat any and on the edge of our table and ignored. This after he forced the host to seat us in his section for the tips. Received the bill and nachos were on there. That being said everything on the bill was 4% more than the menu price. When paying I questioned it and was told it was their system. When I suggested updating the menu with accurate prices, I was yelled at in Spanish. When I finally put my card in to pay, nachos included after they were described, I was asked if I wanted to tip with 10% off the bill, I declined. The server was standing there waiting to hear my answer. I paid bill full price and left. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE. If you do check your bill. Felt to me like they were running up the bills in case customers don't check them.

You guys need to bring the flavor back. I ordered a steak burrito and the only good thing on my plate was the white cheese sauce that comes from a factory. The meat was unseasoned. The beans were horrible which is usually how you can tell if the restaurant will be good. Beans are easy enough. They simply do not season food. At all. Glad I only got water to drink because of the margarita reviews would have been a huge waste. I will never recommend nor return.

I was cheated! I pointed to the menu and ordered garlic shrimp. What came was shrimp in a dark brown sauce. I told the waiter it was not garlic shrimp, he said it was. The manager came and told me it was garlic shrimp. The bill came and it said it was shrimp Diablo. I called the waiter and the manager. I was charged $17.67 for item which was listed for $15.99. I was told that this was the new price. I explained what happened and the manager said "he was confused." Dreadful experience!!! I have been going to the old restaurant for years. Will not return to this new restaurant. Bad experience!!!!!!!
