Delicious food and surprisingly cute “decor”! In town for a wedding, we found this charming surprise close to our VRBO. Stopped in for breakfast and we all had delicious meals! Service was wonderful. Sierra, our server was delightful and friendly, she was accommodating to our food allergies and frequently checked in on our meals. Been here numerous times. My granddaughter had a cheeseburger and I had a BLT, My sandwich was good but very skimpy. I was shocked when the waitress brought it to me. There was one sliver of tomato, a limp piece of lettuce and very little bacon. I wouldn't reccomended the BLT. The cheeseburger was excellent as were the fries. Regardless we love this cafe.

First off I LOVE GIVING 5 STARS to places I try fir the first time......however i have to give mediocre stars for mediocre food and service. The soup was excellent....but the liver and onions...which is one of my all time favorites was not very good...not crusp...flavorful and Luke warm. The onions were barley cooked and slapped together. But IF I would have gotten great service I would have given 5 stars. As you can see from the photos I put up...the server didn't clear any dirty plates..prebussed.....upsell....suggestive sell...offered desert or anything. He didn't even do a standard 2 bite 2 minutes check back to see if I needed anything or if food was good or nothing...ii still left 20% but I usually leave 50%...oh well. Server should know at least the steps of service.

Stopped here for breakfast yesterday around 9 am and we were sat right away. Within a couple minutes of us getting a table there was a line at the door! The service was fast and very attentive! The coffee was very good and our cups were never empty. We ordered the Cali omelet with hashbrowns and fruit, corned beef hash bowl with fruit, pancakes, and applesauce for our little one. Without even asking our waiter brought the applesauce out immediately. The rest of our food came shockingly fast. Everything was delicious! We were very impressed with the entire experience. We live about 2 hours away, and wished we had a gem like this in our town, we will be back when in the area again.

A trucker that walked over from next door.... No major complaints.... Food was good... Waitress was nice and attentive..... Restaurant was clean.... Prices were reasonable.... Went to get breakfast,as we normally do passing by Belgium on the highway. We were greeted with smiles and amazing table service. The food arrived pretty quickly after ordering. All the food tasted great, was cooked correctly as my wifes style of eggs are hard to do correctly.
After not stopping in for a few years, the renovation to the restraunt was a nice surprise.

We came here on a Sunday and it was pretty crowded, but they got us seated relatively quickly. They have nice hot coffee. I had the Greek omelette which was fantastic as well as the hashbrowns, which were crispy on the outside, but not overdone. My daughter had the veggie omelette bowl and said it was delicious. Prices were very reasonable. We will definitely come back when we are in the area.

Just moved to town and have had breakfast twice and fish fry once here. I'm very picky when it come to food but can tell I'll be stopping here at least once a week. Great serving sizes and nicely seasoned food. This is my new place for fish on a Friday. Met the owner and he was extremely nice and welcoming. Highly recommend!

UPDATE: March 2025....

We were looking for dinner last Friday night and found the Luxembourg Cafe open for business. They normally are closed for dinner. We spoke to the staff and they said they are open now on Fridays and feature a Fish Fry.

My partner tried the Fish and was very satisfied with the flavor and the size of the portions. The fish was white and flaky and not excessively oily.
I had a BBQ Smokehouse burger that was tasty with big slices of smoked bacon. We both had the Chicken Dumpling soup. Mmmm good.

We again highly recommend! Tell your friends.

Excellent cafe with great service and outstanding food. They are just off the highway, which makes them convenient to get to as well. The place is very clean, and the servers are friendly and accommodating by adding or deleting something from the order. For example, I ordered a Veggi omelet without green peppers (not a fan cooked) and wanted American cheese, not cheddar. My omelet was "just right" and the way I wanted it. Stop by if you're in the area. You will be pleased!

I have been here multiple times. The service is always super fast. Food is always great. I am sitting at mcdonalds accross the street because i was in a hurry. 2 meals was $26. I spend less at this cafe, get a fresh meal, friendly service, and we are always in and out with in 30 min. I dont think i cam ever go to mcdonalds again.

We came here a couple years ago and it was fantastic. Great, homemade, food, and great service. Today, it was not very good. My wife wanted to order corned beef hash and asked the waitress of it is homemade. It isn't. It is from a can. Really??? And my vegetables were literally like baby food. Mushy and gross. My chicken was soggy and not good. And I ordered the daily special. You would think it would be a focus to make the special good, right? My daughter hashbrows were cold. Like they were refrigerated. And our server was terrible. She was unpleasant, didn't fill our drinks until we were ready to leave. She also didn't say a work when my daughter asked for her hashbrowns to be warmed up. Just not a pleasant person at all. We won't be back.

Good morning, we stopped through by way of Semi. My husband and I decided to eat here and boy it didn’t disappoint. This cute restaurant is always a safe bet. I've been coming here for many years back when it was Hobo's, and I've come here many times under the new owner. I'm glad the new owners kept a lot of the original vibe. They gave this restaurant a very nice and much needed renovation. The menu and prices are very similar to what it was as Hobo's. For the very affordable price, the food is pretty good, and the service is so quick! Even during peak breakfast/lunch time with the restaurant packed, you'll get your food within minutes, and the noise level is very reasonable. The Luxembourg Cafe is a staple of Belgium that I recommend and I know I'll be back many times in the future :)

Absolutely fabulous! We stopped in for a quick breakfast and had the most amazing hashbrowns!! I know, hashbrowns?? But most restaurants' hashbrowns are pretty flavorless and have a cardboardy texture, and these were the best I've ever had!! We were seated quickly, even though we arrived at lunchtime, our waitress got to us quickly, got us our beverages and our orders, then our food was out very quickly and was still piping hot when it was served!! We don't live nearby, but it'll be worth the drive to come back!! OH, BTW, THE BACON WAS AMAZING!!

The gyro bowl exceeded my expectations, which were already high. The cheese curds were exactly what you would expect of Wisconsin cheese curds, amazing. The side of pancakes were light and fluffy with the amazing fresh strawberry sauce.
Our waitress was phenomenal with frequent checks, although the restaurant was busy, and energetic throughout my many questions.
For a starter, three main meals, and add ons for the sides, it was still around $40. A steal in today’s economy. The quality of food, service, cleanliness, and environment make this a place I want to return to every time I’m traveling through.

I can only speak to the one thing that I tried. Which was two eggs, over medium, bacon, sausage, buttered toast, and French toast.
The eggs were very good, and the meat was good enough. I have had a French toast at at least 15 other restaurants and this was the worst. You can tell that they had very very lightly tapped the bread into the batter. it had the exact same consistency and texture as a piece of regular bread and very little flavor. My buttered toast was cold, and you could tell it was cold before they had buttered it because none of it was melted. It was also slightly overdone. My wife got eggs, Benedict and she was very happy with that. But in my experience, they failed on some extremely simple and fundamental things. The server was very nice and I would assume that most things you get from there would be great. I would not hesitate to try it again, but I certainly wouldn’t order the French toast again.

I've been here a bunch, and my past experiences here have been very favorable. I had lunch on Sunday, 10-15 at about 2pm, and my food my cold, hash browns and toast were burnt, and my server was awol for about 20 minutes after we received our food.

Had breakfast here on 10/3. $33 + tip for just an ordinary breakfast for 2 with $11 for 2 coffees, one oj, and one milk. Pretty much a rip-off. And the food wasn't that good. Burnt, blackened, & cold toast with my Denver omelet which was nothing special. Friend had biscuits and gravy. Check your bill carefully too. The server was good so she deserved a tip, but the food and the price didn't. However a breakfast sandwich appeared on our check that we didn't order. That's what tipped me off to this place. I've had better at McDonald's. Won't return. There are a lot better places to get a breakfast on I-43. Full pass
