The food here is amazing! I highly recommend it!
The issue is with ordering online. We always stop and grab food everytime we go past because it really is amazing! We ordered ahead online this time because we couldn't get an answer on the phone. They upcharge items when ordering online, and the worst part is that at the top of the "submit your order" page it says tipping is voluntary and not required. BUT then there must be somewhere else where it is not clear about the tip because as we hit submit, the total increased! Turns out we somehow tipped 10% unwillingly!
Now the food is great, but it's basically fast food - ish. These employees are not paid a "tipped wage". If we pick up and things are awesome, we may put some cash in their tip jar. But my food was tipped sideways this time, so by the time I drive the remaining 4 hours home it was less than ideal. No one greeted us as we came in and they weren't busy. There was nothing that would've prompted me to tip $6 for take out that is cooked in the to go container. AND I didn't do it voluntarily.

So while I highly recommend their food, I equally recommend ordering in person or on the phone. SKIP the online experience 100%!

Great casual place where you won't break the bank for lunch in the Dells. Food was excellent and exactly what my wife and I were hoping for in a Mac and cheese restaurant, live that the meal/combo option provides a salad and even more that you have multiple salad choices instead of only a basic side salad. They offer a hot dog mac, we offered to pay the price but only receive the hot dog. The employee working the front counter 7/27/25 claimed they couldn’t do that. So we only ordered one item for one person and left. The food was good though. Service needs to be better or more accommodating. If you serve hot dogs on Mac, you can serve just a hot dog.

It was very good food. Thw mac and chesse was amazing. My wife had Chipotle chicken with her mushroom mac and i had the caprese mac and chese while my son had the 4 chese. All delicious and the ingredients tasted very fresh. Super friendly staff, easy locations with plenty of parking. The only issue I had was the bread it was stale and oiled to a point it left residue on the napkin I set it on to enjoy my mac! The bread was so wrong with this that it truly took this place from 5 to 4 stars in my book.

Stopped by on a Friday, it was quite busy. It is located by Kalahari resort. Macs has delicious mac&cheese with many different options. We had the Memphis mac&cheese which is with BBQ pulled pork and the Loaded Baked potatoe which is with, you guessed it, baked potatoes, sour creme, bacon and chives. Both were delicious and creamy but completely different. They have small, regular and big daddy (large). Although busy, the food was made quickly, the staff is very nice and the restaurant is clean with a cool atmosphere. If you are in the area I'd recommend stopping by at least once!

It was hard to choose, all their Mac choices looked SO good! My chicken bacon ranch was chef’s kiss. Others in our group got the Memphis, loaded baked potato Mac, and Popeye, all reported their picks to be absolutely delicious. We ordered takeout and the containers looked kind of small coming out of the bag, but the portion sizes ended up being perfect. We were comfortably full but not stuffed and didn’t have leftovers if we got the regular size. The containers probably looked small because we’re so accustomed to oversized portions in the US.
We will absolutely be back to try more kinds the next time we drive through the Dells.

It feels a little silly to be so stoked about a macaroni and cheese place, put this honestly was the best mac and cheese I have ever had anywhere.

Some friends recommended the jalapeno... We thought, how can a macaroni and cheese dish really be the highlight of someone's culinary experience in Wisconsin Dells? Now we are those people, we are recommending the jalapeno Mac.

This is the second time I have visited this franchise. After 2 times I still feel this place is pretty average. I actually think there are better places out there that do a better job with a mac and cheese meal.

This one does do it slightly different as they bake it for you instead of just using hot pasta to melt the cheese. I does come out extremely hot, for some I am sure you love that aspect. I had the standard mac and cheese and had a large size.

A good mac and cheese bowl is something simple that too many people get wrong, but not here at MACS. They stick with simple ingredients that offer the best flavors and combinations. The cheese sauce is amazing, the noodles do a good job of trapping lots of that good cheese inside. They also add some additional shredded cheese on top before running it through a broiler that melts it and gives it a nice burntish taste. It also keeps the cheese underneath warm and melty. I stopped by in person and ordered the buffalo mac and cheese to go. Service was very friendly and food came out quick. I am not usually a blue cheese fan but it definitely added to the creaminess of the whole cheese making it extra tasty. There was a good amount of chicken and the buffalo did not over power the original flavors only enhanced them. The building and tables where very clean. If there where a closer one to me I would definitely stop by more.

We went here for lunch. Ordered our food, the ordering process was fairly easy. When the food came out it was cold. Then came the worse partx When I went to use the restroom, the worker came out of of the stall, didn’t wash her hands and went right back to work. This happened after I finished my meal so it was too late. It may have been a fluke because all the reviews here are so great, but this made me question how sanitary the food actually is.

I really don’t get the hype. Mac and cheese came out pretty cold in the center, for both of our dishes, which is a big health risk. Also pretty overpriced for what they give you and the portion sizes, and the taste is pretty bland. Do yourself a favor and think about going to a better restaurant. McDonald’s would have even tasted better than this—at least it’s hot food!

My fiance and I have visited this restaurant a handful of times in the past several years. We've enjoyed the variety of macaroni dishes every time we visit. The dishes are always full of flavor and are satisfying, though the serving size seems to have shrunk on our most recent visit for the regular size.
