Food was warm but not hot. My microwave at home would cook it hotter than this. You shouldn't be able to instantly eat it, you usually have to blow on the food to cool it down a little. Cheese wasn't melted all the way. Very disappointed.

Service was good, atmosphere was quite & comfortable with music playing. Food was not hot. I thought maybe once I got down into it, it would be hotter but it wasn't. I could even grab the dish it was in. Have been to multiple MAC'S & the food was so hot I could barely eat it & love it that way. This felt like it was cold, pre made, & warmed up. Other MAC'S I feel it's fresh, hot, & made just minutes before hitting the table in front of me. NOT here unfortunately.

Ordered for the first time here today and it was a great experience. Did a pick up order for the new loaded baked potato macs with our coupons for national macaroni and cheese day! All four of us loved it! Large portions we all have enough for a second meal! Placed orders in advance and they were ready when I arrived and the guy working was friendly too! The second we walked in the door we were greeted with amazing service. Employees offered us descriptions, recommendations, and even a taste-test to decide our perfect order. It’s to bad that we don’t have one of these near me! Do you want to talk about comfort food! Yes, so much it is! I had the Memphis Macaroni with the pulled pork and provolone and mozzarella cheeses on it, yummy! Again I was shared a great place to eat at! She also shared with me a secret too! So, I will share it with you. When you go there to order your food, order it to go, not to dine in because you will get more quantity of food than if you tell them that you’re going to “dine” in. It will be worth the wait once it’s made for you and then go grab a seat and enjoy your warm and tasty meal! The atmosphere and service was good no objections here! I don’t know when I’ll be returning to it for we were just passing thru that day. Sorry, no photos to show.

Great experience for a casual eatery. Delicious for adults and kids. Loved that they had a couple different flavors of Cholula on the tables. Our server/order taker was super chill and nice. It's *maybe* pricier than other fast type foods, but not too bad (the state of inflation has got my scale all off 😂).

The service was great. I am on crutches and needed their help to get my food and drink out the car. They were happy to help.
The space looks very clean and quite new.
The inside of the bathroom was accessible but the door was pretty heavy so it made it difficult to get in and out of.
I would return. They also have an option to order online and pick up at the window or to dine in and skip the line.

Love Mac’s anywhere but here. Came for lunch, no more than 5 other customers and waited somewhere between 20-30 minutes for a Mac and a soup that took 5 minutes more. Love Mac’s and trying all of the many varieties they have. However was very disappointed in this months “special.” Ordered the Breakfast Mac which was advertised as potatoes, peppers, onions, bacon, cheddar, and sausage gravy. Upon getting it home, there was no sausage gravy in the dish at all! I figured the gravy could be embedded in the sauce, but after finding no sausage and no gravy I was disappointed. Tasted more like the baked potato mac. I will not be ordering the specials again if they won’t come as advertised.

Great Food and Convenient Service

MACS is a fantastic spot with really good food and a diverse menu that has something for everyone. The portions are big, and while it’s a little pricier, it’s definitely worth it.

The convenience is a big plus—there’s easy parking, a drive-through, and the option to order online and pick up, which worked perfectly. The service was also super fast. Highly recommend!

Awful experience and the restaurant wasn’t even busy. My husband’s mac and cheese came out cold. We heard other people with the same complaint. We also watched an employee go in and out of the bathroom 3 times, all 3 times too quickly to have washed his hands and put gloves back on. I don’t know why he kept going in the bathroom but he always came out with his gloves on. He was delivering food to people’s tables too. Yuck. This also made us not want my husband’s dish fixed. When he asked for a refund, the person at the register rolled their eyes hard and had a big attitude. They ran the card for a refund and guess what- that refund never came through. This place is not cheap and it’s not worth it. Go somewhere else.

FOOD: Perfect takeout comfort food, brought back to my hotel, on a cold, rainy, and dreary evening after a long day 1 spent at a weekend long conference.

SERVICE: Walked in, greeted warmly but the cashier. My order wasn't quite ready, but I had ordered via Door Dash and hadn't yet received a notification that it was ready. However, less than 5 minutes later they gave it to me, sweetly apologizing for the wait, even though no apology was necessary. They were so friendly.

ATMOSPHERE: I don't dine in but while I was there I noticed how cut and comfy it looked, and actually thought to myself that it was definitely a place at which I'd be happy to dine in.

DISH: Loaded Baked Potato Mac was so yummy!! I will get it again the next time I'm in WI, for sure.

1st time here and the lobster Mac was on special tonight. It was hot fresh and hearty. Cheese was throughout the skillet. Lobster was real meat not imitation at all. I loved loved loved the Buffalo Chicken Mac & Cheese when I first started getting it a few months ago. I normally don't like spicy food or chicken. This dish was cooked to perfection! There was an abundance of buffalo sauce, the noodles were slightly al dente, there was plenty of shredded chicken. It was a little crispy on top.

That all changed this week. It completely sucks now. They skimp on the chicken, buffalo sauce and severely overcook the pasta. It's unrecognizable. It's like they downgraded the quality of their ingredients. When I called to complain, the manager told me that they implemented portion controls and that's how it's supposed to be. To her credit, she did give me a free buffalo chicken entree.

I got it again today and it was made the horribly skimpy way. Definitely not worth the money I pay. Unfortunately, I won't be back. 😢

Great food - really unfortunate job on customer service surrounding the rewards card. I’m a huge fan of the shop and only get to visit when traveling. The unfortunate decision to not honor a full rewards card due to not recognizing some fellow MACS’ punch hole shapes leaves a bad taste for someone who is normally a big fan. The food is good, but unfortunately, the place seems a bit understaffed, so you typically have to wait a bit in line, since the person at the register is also bringing people their food. Additionally, if you decide to dine in, almost all of the booth tables have this very annoying lightbulb right at eye level that will bother you throughout your entire meal. There are only two booths by the window, one long table in the middle of the dining area, and one uncomfortable bench by the window that don't have this issue.

We had eaten at a MACS in Green Bay and liked it, so we looked for one during our stay in Madison. We were not disappointed! My partner had a patty melt and I tried the Chicken Bacon Ranch. Yummy. The chocolate cake was highly recommended by two different employees and was definitely worth getting. Service was outstanding. Let me start off by saying that this was one of the best food experiences I’ve ever had in my life. I tried Macs for the first time this week and it was absolutely incredible. I got the Chicken Bacon Ranch mac & cheese and let me tell you it is an experience I will never forget. I went in for the first bite… it was absolutely delicious… the noodles were cooked perfectly, the sauce was so thick and creamy that it dripped down when you picked up the fork, the chicken was cooked to perfection, the bacon added that much needed bite, and the ranch tied everything together. It was so good I had to scrape the bowl clean. I easily devoured it in under 4 minutes. It was incredible. Words cannot describe how magnificent this dish was. It made me moan and bust my pants in delightfulness. This dish is better than an orgasm. I truly think I am addicted to this place… I’ve been thinking about it for the past 2 days… Just writing this review is making my stomach crave this Mac & cheese. Truly a 10/10 experience. This place deserves a Michelin star for how good it is. I will be coming back here more often than what I probably should. This is just so beautiful and it’s worth every penny. This location started out strong but things have changed for the worse. The food had been very good, always hot, and always made accurately.

Recently, my online order was wrong. The manager reached out right away to apologize and refund the order. She also offered two free meals, which was very nice.

We went in person last night to place a carry out order, which was for three macs, one salad, and an order of toasties. It took an hour to receive this food, and we found out when we got home that the dressing was missing from the salad and the toasties were not in the bag. One mac was piping hot; the other two were lukewarm. We suspect that the hot mac had been remade (while the other two sat there and cooled down) and the original incorrectly given to someone who came in for a carryout order while we were there. After that person left, staff prepared a bag with food and called her name. When they realized she had left, they basically shrugged it off and put her food off to the side, saying it would be there if she came back in. We asked twice how much longer our order would take, as four walk-in orders that were placed after ours were filled before ours. Each time, we were told it was almost ready. The staff member I spoke with was rude and very sarcastic.

It would be so nice if this location could succeed, but something seriously needs to change in staff training and customer service. We don't plan to return.
