I went the 1st time & had the Popeye. I loved it! The 2nd time I had the Jalapeño Popper mac & cheese. Also excellent! I'd love to know their recipe because this is the best Mac & cheese I've ever had. The restaurant atmosphere is pretty standard. Nothing fancy. Wait staff was pleasant. When I make my way back up to Sun Prairie I will definitely visit them again.

We love MACS and quite honestly this location does not live up to the same standards as other locations especially the Dells. If you want quality MACS do not go to this location, food is cooked completely different, almost as if they heated the macaroni and cheese, then sprinkled toppings, and microwaved it. If you go to the MACS in the dells, the food is fresh cooked straight in the skillet, and much better than this location.

Always great food, and today was an extra special experience. There was a young gentleman working and he was tending to every table, checking in, delivering food, cleaning up, and anything else needed. Customer service was HORRIBLE!!! Lady gave us so much attitude when we were placing our order while we were nothing but polite to her. Ordered to go, got dine in plates. When we asked her nicely if we could have 2 containers to go, she gave us a snarky response and walked away then came back with one bag and no containers. We asked her for containers again, and she rolled her eyes and rudely gave them to us. But they were too small so unfortunately we had to ask her again for a bigger one which she rolled her eyes again and shoved it to us. She was insanely rude and all of the people there looked miserable and had so much attitude when we were nothing but kind the entire time. would never recommend this place.. I try to not get upset with someone for having attitude at work because they might just be having a bad day. But this was crazy and she was so hostile even when we were polite. Never coming again. I love the rotating special menu items to go alongside the already expansive options on the standard menu. During busier moments, expect to wait a little longer for your food, but it will always come out plated well (and delicious, too!) I’m not a very big fan of Mac and Cheese but I love MACS!!! Macs does an excellent job balancing the cheese and other flavors, so it is overbearing. I order ahead (quite frequently) and they usually take 30 minutes or so for a mobile order. Today I decided to just stop in and eat— order was received within 10 minutes. I love the Mama’s Mac but PLEASE bring back the Blue Ribbon Mac 🙏🏽

First time trying this place. Was pleased with the food quality and the dining area had a nice ambiance , with dim lighting instead of overly bright like many places tend to be. It's a bit pricey, but so is everywhere these days. At least I felt stuffed when I left, instead of just mildly satisfied, as I often feel when spending almost as much money on lesser quality of food. I even had to ask for a to go container for those last few bites I couldn't finished.

Came as a Mac regular but was my 1st time to this location! (Was passing thru) Attempted to use a gift card at checkout and the girl at the register wasn't sure how to ring it up, as she was new! No problem, however not one other employee spoke English!!!! The poor cashier girl was using her phone to translate back n forth, it was unreal! Her frustration was building as much as mine!!! After 15mins or more, the spanish woman handed my gift card back to cashier, who then proceeded to tell me the balance was still on the card! IT BETTER BE!!!

We've been here several times & had great food. This time, not only did they forget to give us one of our orders, but all the chicken is substandard. Previously the chicken was breaded cutlets. This time it was sliced deli meat. If it didn't come out of a lunch meat package, I would be surprised. For the added cost of the chicken, that is unacceptable.
We may go back for the mac, but we know better than to pay for the overpriced, dry, flavorless paper thin chicken.

I ordered my food in store, and it took nearly half an hour to get it. The food was barely warm by the time it came to me, so it was just sitting for the majority of that time. I checked the temperature before leaving but wasn't going to wait for potentially another 30 minutes.

I ordered The Buffalo Chicken Mac, and it was all hot sauce. I love spice like hot sauce and even Jalapeños, but this was too spicy to enjoy. This was my first time trying MACS, and it likely will be my last. If I want overpriced basic noodles, I will stick to Noodles and Company because MACS is trash. Don't waste your money. Either go to Noodles or, better yet, make it at home.

Restaurant got my delivery order wrong. I had to drive to the store to get the order fixed. The employee that “helped” me. Argued with me about my incorrect order claiming that I ordered the wrong food until I showed her my receipt on my phone. She then took my food, told me they would only remake the 1 item they got wrong because I had already taken 2 bites of the food. They then threw away my meal so I left with less food than I walked in with. So I paid for 2 meals plus delivery fee and only left with 1 meal.

The night shift people suck. I was really excited to try the special fajitas Mac they have and I ordered it. My other two friends ordered the BBQ Chicken salad. When the salads finally came they didn’t have any BBQ sauce on them and when I asked them for a package the worker gave me an annoyed face. I waited for over 15 min to get my fajitas MAC and when I finally got it, it only came with one slice of beef. It felt like a slap to the face. Food was okay. Broccoli cheese soup was not hot and the meal was kind of a letdown. I had mine over potatoes (gf). All the toppings are just set on top of the mac, nothing is mixed in...bathroom was icky and had a broken soap dispenser without soap anywhere, which is disgusting in a food joint. Took my grandgirl to her favorite place for lunch today. She had mama mac, I had a macadilla. Her food arrived in 5 minutes, mine arrived in 28 minutes, well after she finished eating. The food is good, but the service just makes it so awkward to be there. Everytime we walk in and approach the counter the person at the register just seems to pretend we don't exist. Today the person at the register had earbuds in both ears and was just looking down (probably at a cell phone). I'm not even expecting the person to be cheerful and enthusiastically greet me. A "what can I get you" would be good enough, but I can't event tell if they are ready to take the order. I'm forced to have to break this awkward standoff and when I do that they just look at me with a blank stare.

I can't even blame this kid because this behavior seems so common since the pandemic. I used to work at counter service restaurants and I hated customers too, but acknowledging the customers presence made the interaction so much quicker and painless since there wasn't ever a weird silent standoff at the beginning of the transaction. This basic standard of customer service is something that SHOULD be monitored by the manager, but honestly I couldn't even pinpoint if a manager was even on shift. Certainly didn't seem to be anyone in charge.
