Mac’s is hands down the best mac & cheese spot I’ve ever been to! The variety of flavors is unbelievable—there’s truly something for everyone. My personal favorite is the BBQ chicken, loaded with smoky flavor and perfectly cheesy. My partner swears by the one with a hamburger patty, and it’s just as amazing.

We first discovered Mac’s last year and fell in love instantly. In fact, we’ve driven 3.5 hours just to get it again—and even took some home with us. Totally worth the trip every single time!

This place is always popular for a reason. We stopped in for a late lunch and there was still a line, but it moves pretty fast since you order at the counter. I got the Philly Cheesesteak Mac and it was awesome. It comes out sizzling in a little cast iron skillet which keeps it super hot and the edges get a little crispy. It's incredibly cheesy, creamy, and loaded with steak, peppers, and onions. You definitely need to come hungry because the portions are big and it's really filling. It's not a light meal, but if you're craving some serious mac and cheese, this is the best spot in the Dells.

I would definitely come here when you are really hungry as well as regular hungry. They have three different sizes of servings. I would definitely come and check out the Italian beef mac and cheese it was delicious. They also had a chicken wing mac and cheese which is definitely different wasn't too spicy it was really good. They also have a carnitas mac and cheese which was full of flavor and wow. I will say that they are a very busy place. You have to wait for a table after someone leaves. Found this little gem located downtown. Broadway Street certainly shows its age now, but MACS is a great modern highlight. I ordered the regular sized Chipotle mac. The portion filled me up, but if you're really hungry, I'd recommend sizing up to the mac daddy.

MACS is a must-visit if you love macaroni and cheese. I tried the flavor of the month, Little Squeaker, and it was done really well—definitely worth keeping on the menu. This place was a surprising standout on our Dells trip! It’s very affordable, and yeah it’s like a Panera or a Noodles & Company; but it’s very much worth it. It’s a very chill atmosphere and is right on the strip so perfect for lunch.

My partner got the Mama’s Mac & Cheese and I got the Chipotle Mac & Cheese. Both were slam dunk choices. Mama’s had thin hot dog pieces where were so tasty, Chipotle Mac had really good chicken & sauce.

We have been eating at Macs every time we are vacationing in the Dells for years. It is a family favorite. Their macaroni and cheese options are just so delicious! I will say that if you are a vegan, you will be disappointed. I am a vegan. Last year, I got the salad for my meal, and boy was that depressing. Not that it is a bad salad - it's not. It's just that watching your family devour their creamy, cheesy goodness while you are eating spring greens is rather sad. I can't fault MACs for not having a vegan mac - they are by definition a macaroni and cheese shop. However, I will say that if they chose to carry Daiya's cheddar cheese sauce that could be mixed up wtih noodles and baked with veggie toppings or with salsa and crushed tortilla chips, well, I'd be in heaven. I would just love eating some creamy mac alongside my family. For now though, I get a soda and just chill while my family eats, and then we have to stop somewhere else to get me some takeout. Macs was always my fave years ago before I was vegan, and it will prob always be my family's fave!

We love this place! We made a quick trip to the Dells and decided to eat here again. Just delicious food! We all got different Mac and cheese options, and they were all amazing! We wish we had one here in Indiana!

Cute vibe lil spot in downtown Wisconsin Dells! Great lil lunch spot for kids! Macaroni n Chez!! All types of cheeses, toppings and sizes! My niece and nephew really enjoyed it! Staff was friendly through our entire time there. Price was doable.
