Visted today on their 1 year anniversary. They had giveaways and free drinks. Great stuff. The food was absolutely amazing and delicious. The major issue we had was service. They were quite slow with everything. They didn't even come to us until 15 minutes of sitting there. The atmosphere needs some improvement. We sat outside to enjoy the wonderful weather. They didn't have any music or fans going. The bugs ate us up. I would recommend once they improve those things.

Magnolias is NOT CLOSING. I waited far too long to get in here! They'd been open several months before I made time to stop in, and I'm hooked. The menu is comprehensive, the prices are fair, and the servings are generous. Furthermore the owner, Magnolia, is personable, approachable, and she sincerely cares about client experiences and outcomes. Any rumors of their closing are only that, and any of the poor reviews are from folks looking to give a place a bad review.

The dining room ambiance is really cool with large murals celebrating the Mexican culture. The service was outstanding with friendly and helpful waiters who also willingly educated us on the murals. They easily and quickly accommodated our group of ten, keeping the chips, salsa, and drinks filled. The menu is extensive with lots of yummy options. Go check it out!

We were there Friday food was awesome!! It was just my husband and I our bill was 107.00. It didn’t register that it was too much till we got home. My entree was 18.00 , my husbands was 21.00. I had water my husband had orange juice. We also had three shots on there. Pretty sure that didn’t add up to 107.00. I realize that I should have noticed sooner but if there is anything you can do. We did pay with card.

My grandson, who favors Mexican food, returned with me to my home town today, and he selected Magnolia's for our lunch. We each had a very reasonably priced Steak Special. My Grandson ordered a "small" Margarita and it was huge! We agreed the meal was delicious. The host was congenial. The whole experience was excellent.

The atmosphere was very nice.
The service was outstanding!

Most importantly, the food was excellent and we thought very authentic. (We lived in El Paso Texas for 2 years and ate in El Paso and Juarez Mexico a once a week).

Finally, a Mexican restaurant with Quesabirria! I had it tonight and it was excellent! My only suggestion would be to remove the paper feom the board. It got soggy and tore up with my fork & knife. My husband had the grilled chicken chimichanga and said it was excellent! Reasonably priced, great portions, and margaritas were great, too! Lovely atmosphere and great service. Another WOW dining experience in small town America. I can not believe how extensive their menu was. You'll be able to find a menu option you'll love from authentic mexican to steak dinners. The portions are huge, beautifully set, and delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed their equally as large and delicious margaritas. I grew up in south Texas and currently live in central Arizona. I could only wish to find a better mexican restaurant back home. Kudos to the owners and staff for bringing the best food and taste of Mexico to Columbus, Wisconsin.

We ate in once and that was pretty good! However tonight we ordered pick up and it was very disappointing. The prices didn't reflect what we saw. The food was not great. The bacon was the precooked cheap bacon that was flimsy and awful. Another burrito was missing multiple ingredients and was lacking ingredients for the price. It seemed like cheap and not fresh ingredients. I called to talk about it and the first guy thought I was placing an order. The next person I spoke to didn't apologize or seem to care. She said we must have ordered drinks and I let her know we didn't and did not get an itemized receipt either. Then she said just because we didn't like our food didn't mean we would get a refund. I asked for manager to call me and she said ok. Instead she called back and said we got a refund, but that was it. Overall it was a hassle, we got no answers and the customer service was extremely lacking.

OMG! This place is so great! They have outstanding Queso Fundido with chorizo… My brother and sister and I ate here today.

Ok, been there twice and I'll be basing my review mostly on my second visit, as it was much better than my first visit.

First time I ordered the fajitas, and they were not what I expected, and they weren't as good as tequilas. But it was opening weekend. Service was excellent, chips and salsa was complimentary, and they have a warmer environment, plus an outdoor patio so it was nice to have another option in town.

Second time, I tried some of the alcohol and the margarita was tasty, dos equiis was cold, but the real highlight was the birria tacos. Easily the best I've had and definitely will order again. Definitely will be back.

I'm hoping Columbus is big enough to support both restaurants because I think they both have value.

The inside was absolutely beautiful, there were amazing murals inside, I'm adding one since I didn't want to take a picture as other people were sitting near them. I love the fact that there is indoor and outdoor seating.

I am a huge fan of the drink Horchata and I think I was sold the second our server set it on the table. It came in this giant mug and it was perfect!
Chips and salsa and they also give you a white dipping sauce too which I feel may be a ranchero sauce but I could be wrong since I didn't ask. It was pretty good though.

There are many options on the menu.
Our order consisted of one plate of 3 steak tacos a side of rice and beans as well as a dish with a salsa verde s and pico de gallo and limes.
I ordered the Carnitas, it was a good serving of meat and it was very juicy and flavorful. I had enough to take home for seconds.

The waiter was kind, attentive, and funny. I think a waiter alone can really make a huge impact on if customers will come back and he did a great job.

For anyone who can't find parking out front there is a city lot a block down with public parking!

I took the family here for dinner on the eve of their grand opening. The service was very prompt and friendly. The restaurant was clean, family friendly and they advertise daily specials in the restaurant. The food was well portioned and reasonably priced. I sampled a few different meals and found everything to be mild, but very well seasoned. If you're looking for a nice sit-down restaurant to take your family, friends or even a date, I'd recommend you give them a try.
