I recently visited a super club and had a generally wonderful experience. The ambience was fantastic, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. However, the music didn't quite match the vibe, which was a bit disappointing. Despite that, the food was exceptional! The dishes were delicious, and the food came out before the buns, which was a nice touch. My mom ordered her steak medium, but it came out rare, which was a bit of a letdown. However, the waiter was incredibly friendly and made us feel very welcome.
The salad bar was impressive, offering a wide variety of fresh options. The New York strip was perfectly cooked and flavorful, and the baked potato was just right. The bathrooms were clean, which is always a plus. Overall, the restaurant met my expectations and provided a wonderful, welcoming experience. Despite a few hiccups, I would definitely recommend this place for a great night out.

I recently visited a Manor On Main and had the New York strip steak cooked medium. Although it was served medium rare, it was still incredibly tasty and well-prepared. The baked potato was excellent—perfectly cooked and seasoned. The rolls and salad bar were even better; both exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was fantastic, but the music was a bit of a mismatch. Instead of the expected classical music, they were playing rock, which didn’t quite fit the vibe. As for the service, it was great overall, but our waiter did forget to bring our rolls right away. Despite this small hiccup, the overall experience was still wonderful. It’s definitely a place I’d recommend!

Went for prime rib dinner. Ordered drinks. Ate salad bar which was out of several items. The lettuce was gone. Dinner came, still no drinks. Server forgot about them. Our potatoes were on the wrong plate, we grabbed them to exchange. The twice baked potato was ice cold on the inside. Server brought our drinks and we told her. Said don't put this in the microwave, I will know, just don't put it in the microwave. She didn't say a thing and took the potato back. Meantime we realized the rest of our food was Luke warm at best. Prime rib, au jus and my baked potato were "warm" and the mushrooms were black, burnt looking. The squash was yummy and perfect heat. Which is the only thing you can't premake. Old fashions were good. After reading these reviews I see this is an ongoing problem. It's sad I was hoping for a great night.

We had three of us eating. Two of us chose the Manor Prime Rib and our grandson ordered the boasted chicken. The salad bar was the best thing of our experience. The prime rib was ordered as medium upon serving us the meal the prime rib had no seasoning and was really tough that we were unable to eat it. Informed the server and she informed the cooks and nothing was done about this. We had spent over $100.00 for these meals and was not able to eat them. Nothing was offered to us to make up for our experience. We have never had a prime rib so awful in our lives.

First time here, we loved it. Unusual to find such a great drink menu up north! My husband had an apple cinnamon old fashion and said it was best old fashion he ever had. I had a chocolate martini and Moscow mules. We had sandwiches in the bar and were very good, especially the fries. Definitely coming back, bar tender is awesome

Ordered the Prim Rib Medium. The steak came Gray and was gray all the way through. Very well done. The steak was just warm and appeared to be reheated. The broccoli was over cooked to the point of mush. No seasoning on the steak or veggies. The baked potato was the size of a tangerine and appeared to be over baked and reheated. The skin was tough and not tasteful. There were only 5 tables seated in the dinning room and two servers. It took almost 20 minutes for one of the servers to acknowledge us after walking past us at least 10 times. I should have sent the food back. I ate half the steak and threw the rest away the next morning. The high point of the meal was the salad bar. Unfortunately they did not have ice berg lettuce . One of the worst steaks and dinners I have had in the area this year. Order a hamburger the dinner is not worth the price.

10 of us came here and no one enjoyed their food. Ordered steak medium rare, got it so hard you could hardly cut it. Waited and waited finally caught the server after everyone had finished their meals. She offered a new steak to go, at this point I declined. She took a percentage off the bill that didn't equate to the food I couldn't eat. I spoke with a manager who made it right but had mentioned the server told her she came back multiple times to check the food, which was not at all true. We sat with no drinks and no server for most of our time there. I can justify bad food or bad service, but not both in the same visit. Unfortunate experience that certainly not worth the price.

Used to love coming here, but not anymore. 2nd time in 2 months I've been here with my family on a Saturday night and it has so NOT been worth the price. We ordered at 6:15, and there were only 5 other diners in the restaurant. We had to ask for them to refill the salad bar. The staff were super awesome. The food was not. The broasted chicken was overcooked, dry and tough. The rolls were stale and hard as a rock. The cheese curds, which had once been a favorite, were awful. The soup was cold. The prime rib was flavored well, but both it and the au jus were also served cold, and the baked potato was not only cold, but wasn't even cooked all the way. I expected much better for $40 per plate. Second bad meal is enough. I will not go back.

To be fair, I was there after peak hours and you could tell there wasn't much for staff left in the kitchen, and at 8:30 at night, sure, the food might be dry. Normally, I'd overlook that kind of thing, as it was my error to wait until 8:30 pm to find somewhere to eat. The reason I lacked patience for the quality of the food or the service?
There was a young couple at the table across from me, on their first date. (I was there alone and it was quiet, so I couldn't help but overhear their conversation much of the time) and when a group of people left, one person, who'd clearly been overserved, stayed behind and migrated over to the couple's table. They sat there offering the young man a job at some contracting company, over and over and became rude when the younger man showed his lack of interest in leaving his current job. Eventually, the couple boxed up their food, had grown outspokenly annoyed at the behavior, and left, while the intoxicated customer sat there at the table. They approached me as I was leaving, as well, but I was politely dismissive and avoided enduring the same behavior and left. The bartender, the waitress, and someone at the bar with a laptop who seemed to know everyone on duty, all stood by and did nothing while someone, who they shouldn't even have been serving, ruined that poor couple's date. I normally keep to myself, but the whole scene happened 8 ft away, and I sincerely hope that it becomes a funny story those people tell later, but I doubt they'll be telling it at this establishment.
I definitely won't be there to hear it.

There was 4 of us. We sat at the bar for a drink before dinner. The bartender was very friendly. Old fashion was very good. The cod fish fry was excellent. It included a salad bar (a lot of choices), the potato pancakes are a hit. I would suggest that the syrup would be warm. We will be back.

The "clam chowder" was literally "clam soup," as in they called it chowder, but instead of a cream base filled with potatoes, it was a broth base filled with who knows what...and was terrible as a result. Only giving 2 stars because at least the server was friendly and prompt. Hopefully they update the menu/kitchen or I imagine they'll be out of business soon.

Went up north mid April to visit Dave's Falls. On the way back down, Manor on Main was one of the few places open during the areas slow season. The place looks like it's been updated recently and looks great! We were able to order food at the bar. I had the fettuccine alfredo, my husband ordered fried chicken and his daughter ordered a bacon cheese burger with steak fries. We also ordered bacon cheese curds for an appetizer. The food was great and inexpensive! Nice place to gather with family! Will visit again when we're back in the area.

We decided to try this steakhouse for the first time last night. My wife had the New York strip and I had the ribeye. Both were great! Cooked exactly as we wanted and with a lot of flavor. Cant say enough great things about Manor on Main! Recently worked with the owner, Emily, for a birthday dinner with about 25 guests. She was amazing to work with and helped create a select menu for our group that was in our budget. Our service was great and our server was phenomenal and very attentive. And the food...The food was amazing! Everybody was very satisfied with the dinner...from broasted chicken to salmon to steak...everything was wonderful and tasty!

When you walk in the atmosphere is good. It's a nice bar. However, if you walk in on a Thursday night just looking to unwind with a drink and a meal at the bar, you CANNOT do this here. The gal behind the bar informed us "we don't eat at the bar here". Needless to say we left after only one drink for a different place down the road. The manor on Main lost out on a $100.00 bill for 2 people because we ended up spending more than that at Dan & Tim's Riverside down the road. One's loss is one's gain. Manor on Main received a loss.

Certainly a diamond nestled in the northwoods. A striking exterior with an equally striking interior. Very spacious bar that's both clean and inviting. Standard beer selection, but they're cocktails shine! The junior mint was well balanced and delicious.
The large dining room was anchored by the fireplace. Ordered the salmon special and the tenderloin, both of which were done to perfection. The salmon was flaky and translucent and the steak was tender, soft, and juicy.
Overall a fantastic experience and worth a drive, even if an hour away. I will be sure to visit every time I'm close(ish) to Wausaukee.
