Marsh's View Point Resort is located on the scenic Minong Flowage, just 120 miles north of the Twin Cities or 25 miles west of Hayward, WI, 35 miles south of Superior/Duluth, and is one of the most beautiful flowages in Wisconsin. The Totagatic River forms the 1,600-acre flowage and has an abundance of Walleye and Pan Fish.
Marsh's View Point Resort is open year-round and is family-owned and operated. We offer comfortable cabins, a bar & grill, seasonal camping, a convenient location and endless fun and relaxation.

Marsh's is a very friendly place with great food. Best burger I've had in the Northland this year. Chicken wings were also very good. Small place with lots of local flavor.
Added Sept.6, 2025: Made a return stop in August 2025. Had very friendly service and another round of good food.

It's a dive bar, typical bar food. Burger was a bit dry, fries could be hotter, patties melt was good. A bit pricey but not unusual in a vacation area. Friendly bartender.

My husband and I had so much fun here. I wish we would have gotten the bar tenders name cause he was seriously the best! The place was busy and loud, but he still kept checking on us. We will be back next time we are up riding the trails!

We came there from 4 wheeling. 1st thing-Owner came by in his truck and chit chatted and thanked us for coming. 2nd-SUPER packed! Not even enough seats for everyone BUT the 2 lady bartenders were working their butts off! 6 drinks and 2 orders of fries and in a timely manner and with smiles on their faces! 3rd-woman bringing out food orders was awesome And 4th-one of the “regulars” was helping clean tables and more! Not being paid! THE PLACE IS GREAT! Awesome job you ALL!!! ❤️

Simply the worst dining experience in my life!!! DO NOT EAT HERE! Waitress new..good! The cook was not a cook 1st night! No steak sandwich! No Salads! Patty melt on white bun. Ordered Beer Battered Shrimp...served shrimp fried to leather with No Breading!!! The new Owners are terrible...it shows!!! Will NEVER GO BACK. Go to POGOS!!!

We had a totally different experience than Meghan E. We are not locals either. We were waited on right away, and it was a full house. We ordered drinks and food, which were delivered right to us. While eating, the bar played 6-5-4. Anyone in the bar can play, and they bring the dice to your table. When we were done eating, they came and cleared the dishes. So all in all, the service was great, the food was good, the prices are great, the bar game was fun. We all (6 of us) had a great time at View Point.

The customer service here is, by far, the worst I have ever experienced. If you aren’t a local, they discriminate against you. They also make you serve yourself the food - it sits in the bar and they pound on the window for you to come get it. Apparently, they also expect you to clean your own plates. I would receive better customer service at a fast food restaurant. Do not support this poorly run establishment! You will be treated so disrespectfully.

The owners and the bartenders when asked for ingredients to be left out of the Bloody Mary give off bad attitudes every time I have gone to this place. It’s not hard to leave out an ingredient when asked. Try being more friendly about this next time especially the owners wife! Very rude!!!!
