The service has gone SO far downhill. Is there a new manager in the last few years? I went for breakfast, and asked for hot tea. I was given hot water & lemon, and was told 'we're out of tea bags.' It wasn't until I asked again, that I was brought two. The waiter said "I found a couple." So if you're low on tea bags, why would you bring 2?

Music Bingo was fun, the service was not. We waited for a server for about 15 min. No one addressed us at all. We had to ask someone who our server is. It took the waitress 3 tries to get my one glass of wine order right. The wrong dressing was with my salad. My cheese curd order came with no utensils, my friends cookie alamode came with no napkins.

The waitresses were scarce in the bar area, where Bingo was happening. Could've made alot of money, but.... The manager was busy with her fam at their own reserved table for bingo.

My suggestion would be, to actually train, or guide the waite staff on how to waite tables, I really think they don't have a clue. The kicker is, that a patron was bussing his own table.

I went there last Friday, and the service was amazing. The hosts were perfect, and kindly showed me to a table. I asked one of them for their name so I could give him a tip and he told me his name was Collin. He was an amazing host I’d recommend a raise for this young man. As I stated before he was very kind and he also helped me decide what to order, and even had great manners for the younger generation. As I stated I recommend he get a raise for his exceptional work and etiquette.

The food was pretty bad. Shepherds pie tasted like a salt block. You could just see and taste that the vegetables were from a can and the mashed potatoes were instant. I took one bite of the food and sent it back. I then ordered a burger and it was cooked wrong and was bland. The French fries that I ordered were supposed to be a garlic parmesan or something similar, but regular fries came out instead.

Mason’s took care of our soccer team! We were a large group of 47 with 18 different checks! They made it fun and seamless. Food was good, service was excellent! They even gave our girls a special treat for dessert.

Came here with a large group and the staff did a great job of managing all of the orders while also getting items out in a timely manner. I got the fish and chips and tried some cheese curds. Everything I got tasted great, and I got to play some impromptu trivia guessing which player's name was on the jersey of one of the staff. Easy 5 stars from me!

Came here for a happy hour with other trainers/ trainees. There seemed to only be one bartender on duty that day, and only 1 or 2 servers running around. We had a fairly large party, and there was already a decent crowd when we got there. Felt bad for the poor bartender she was running around like a chicken with its head cut off.
The food was excellent, with a great variety of beers. Can't wait to come back next time and maybe get that giant pretzel.

I was really looking forward to checking out Mason’s after moving to the area. It was one of the local spots I’d been excited to try. My cousin and I stopped in around 8 p.m. and grabbed seats at the bar.

Right away, the bartender wearing a Scottie Pippen jersey asked what we wanted to drink before we even had a chance to look over the beer list. It felt rushed, so we just quickly ordered beers and were handed menus. Within minutes, she asked if we were ready to order food. Again, it felt like we were being pushed to decide before we had a chance to settle in.

When the food came out, it was brought by a second bartender wearing a Bulls-themed baseball shirt, and she was way more welcoming. She asked my cousin if he didn’t want the soup or salad with his meal, which we didn’t even know was included because the first bartender never mentioned it. Thankfully, she offered to bring it out, and we appreciated that.

Unfortunately, the first bartender never checked on us again after we ordered. She spent the rest of the time chatting and laughing with a guy at the end of the bar. He was awkwardly bobbing his head like music was playing, even though there wasn’t any, just the usual background noise from TVs and people talking. It made the whole interaction feel even more disconnected. She didn’t look our way at all, and after putting away a few glasses, she grabbed her stuff and left.

If her shift was ending, that’s totally fine, but it felt like she wasn’t interested in helping us from the start. Since this was my first visit to Mason’s, it left a disappointing impression. The second bartender definitely helped turn things around a bit, and I’m glad she stepped in, but the rushed and inattentive service earlier in the night made the experience fall short.

I hope this feedback is helpful. The second bartender made a good impression, and I might give Mason’s another shot, but this visit just missed the mark.

I have eaten here on several occasions, and I have mixed feelings about Mason's. The good news is that food is very reasonably priced, I think that is the biggest highlight of this place. The burgers here are good too, I think Milwaukee Burger Company edges Mason's out in the burger and fry department however, and its right down the road. The atmosphere is also really cool, they have a night in armor on the front and it gives me this Irish pub vibe which I like.

My biggest gripe with this Mason's is that the service is mediocre, and unorganized. The servers are never rude, but they consistently mess up food orders, and have issues with splitting bills. Every time I have gone here and needed a bill split between 2-3 people they butcher it. We had to send a bill back to be changed 3x before, and they still could not get it straight. So we decided to just venmo each other the money since they could not handle it. It is a shame since the servers are very personable, and nice, but their skills are desperately lacking.

I’m not sure how this place has so many good reviews. We’ve been here 2x and both times have been equally disappointing. This place needs a thorough cleaning I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. The bathrooms are gross with the paper towel you dry your hands with thrown under the sink in the same vicinity of the toilet brush they hardly clean the toilets with. The booth we sat in has seen far too many bottoms because you sink down in them. The food was typical junk you’d get in a Applebee’s. The mushrooms on my steak were cold, the veggies served with my meal were over steamed and mushy, The Filet was more like a $5 steak from Walmart that they butterflied
For who knows what reason because I ordered it Medium and not well done, they really should step there game up and definitely make sure you are rotating the chives for your potato skins, ours were slimy and you could taste the old onion taste that can’t be masked. Our server, maybe Ashley? Was sweet and attentive, that was the only good thing about our visit. I will not be returning!!!

This was our first visit to Mason's. We are from TN up here for a funeral. Masons is the 4th restaurant we visited and by far the best service and value for our money. My wife and I took out my 82 year old Mother out for mother's Day and as well to say goodbye. As well as it was a goodbye dinner because I am moving to FLORIDA this week🌴🎣🦜🌊.
This is the second time I have been there to eat. The food is excellent my wife had barbecued pork over homemade mac and cheese which she loved, my mom had a huge salad, and I opted for the club sandwich on sourdough bread it was amazing yet another five star review 🌟 outstanding service. nightclub sandwich was so huge I could only eat half. As I sit here and write this review I am finishing the other half and it is even better cold. Check them out a great home cooked food everything is homemade no box mix mac n 🧀 so creamy and full of flavor it paired very well with the pulled pork WOW 😲 . The service and food was very nice. We had two appetizers and two meals. By the time we were done with the appetizers, we were so full. My son took a few bites of his Mac n cheese. And I had a bite of my burger. We decided to take our meals home for later. Unfortunately, chasing after my kiddo, I forgot our meals. Now I know this I'd my fault. But I caught the error and called them back within 30 minutes time. This was two full meals. I tried to talk with the manager but she said that they only hold food for 10 minutes. I tried asking if there was any way to remake the food. That if she asked the host that cleared the table, they should be able to confirm that it was full meals in the boxes. With tip for everything, we spent just about $80. Easily lost $30 of food. But no, they would not consider remake it. She got off the phone quickly and did not want to help me.

Now I know that this is my fault. It's mostly upsetting because I'm on a very limited income and I finally got to take my son for a nice meal. And then lost most of it. I just feel let down. Any restaurant I've been to or worked for would've remade that food.

Our server was sweet and attentive though, so the stars that I did give are for her. Mid rating on atmosphere because most of the tables were dirty when we got there, our 'clean' table eas sticky, and then bench I was sitting on was broken and uncomfortable.

We planned to go back for my son's birthday, but I think we will find somewhere else.

My first ever visit a few days ago:
Their "famous" creamy hot Mac n cheese was tepid at best, very "gushy", NOT creamy by any stretch of the imagination; the bacon I added for $2 extra was dry and somewhat burnt. The Ladies room was awfully dirty. All the walls and framed art on the walls outside the Ladies room are visibly unclean. One of the female servers was in a tank top with exposed armpits. Our booth had a huge piece of the seatcover missing. Please do better Mason's Manager. I'm really disappointed I had such a negative experience. I was GREATLY LOOKING forward to enjoying hot creamy Mac n cheese.

2 stars because the service from Ashley was great. Ordered steak tacos for $16.00. It was god awful, the steak was overcooked and not seasoned. The cheese was from the discount section at Walmart. Nothing went together. Daughter ordered a steak quesidilla. Greasy, overcooked and no flavor. She took a few bites and did not get a to go box. The other two at our table had similar complaints. 8+ yrs after my 1st visit here, decided to give it a second chance to prove themselves. Wife had the glazed salmon *** my son had the Cheeseburger ( medium rare) and fries, I opted for the brisket burger (medium well) no bacon with sweet potatoe fries. The sweet potato fries were fire 🔥 my burger a touch dry no seasoning. The salmon filet looked amazing and the wife really enjoyed it. My barbecue sauce was extra charge, but it made it made a big difference to the flavor. Not bad, but the atmosphere and the service, I recommend be more attentive. Although it is the common theme post covid everywhere. I remember when this location was the Old Country Buffet and service and atmosphere was much better. If rating it, I'd give it a 6.7 out of 10

Okay me and the family went to Mason’s for my sister birthday. This was our first time…to be honest the food was not that great…I got the meat ball bomber it was disgusting 🤮 it had no flavor what so ever, salt and pepper could not help it. The truffle fries were cold. My sister had the mushroom chicken cavatappi pasta which she didn’t enjoy. Our entire table sent their food back and still ended up paying $100 this is absorbed. I had been wanting to try this place for awhile bc of the crab cakes. Me and my daughter went in while my husband parked the truck. Inside was very dark but, ok. We were never greeted, and there were 4 hostesses at the booth where you'd go to be seated. They looked at me and my daughter like we had 3 heads and didn't belong there! We stood for approximately 3 minutes, and no one ever said, "Hi, can we help you? Would u like to be seated?" Nothing, so we turned around and walked out. We know when we're not wanted! We are Black Americans! NEVER AGAIN, will i attempt to dine there, or would I ever recommend this place, even to our white friends, coworkers, or relatives! They can have it!

*Update: I got a reply from the owner who said basically, "Sorry for that, and we'll try to do better." This again let's me know they don't want poc in their restaurant. It really sucks that BP get such a raw deal in this country. Especially when so many from so far away have come here and benefit from and lavish in and enjoy the fruits of our ancestors' blood, sweat, and tears. It may be just a restaurant, and it wasn't here when laws changed, but understand this, W/O BP, YOU'D HAVE NOTHING TO GAIN IN AMERICA! My husband ordered a salad and somehow they don’t have Italian dressing here? They said they had a vinegar oil so he opted in for that, but when he received the food the “vinegar” oil was just cooking oil??? I stopped in for dinner, and i noticed that they had of my favorite sandwiches, the Monte Christo.

Having not been here before, I decided to try it. It came with a side of garlic fries and a small container of something called "Melba sauce."

Simply put, the sandwich was one of the best I have ever had. What really elevated it was the sauce, a sweet & fruity concoction made with various fruits like raspberries and blueberries. I will be back!

The atmosphere is nice here with great decor and tvs everywhere. Unfortunately for us, after we came back from looking at the claw machines with my daughter, our table was cleared away completely. Waitress apologized and gave us our silverware and drinks again. Food came quickly but it was not good. Everything was $50 total and BurgerKing would have been a better choice. My brisket burger was very greasy and the brisket was dry and tasted like nothing. My daughter’s mac and cheese with chicken and bacon was too salty and the taste of cheese was nonexistent. She didn’t even want to take the rest home for later. Our waitress was nice but barely seen. I would recommend this place as a drinking hangout but not a place for meals. I’d give the food here a 1/5 and recommend all to skip this restaurant.

Awesome atmosphere. Food was good too but they over did it on the straw onions. Just too much. The potatoes had a weird taste but overall we ate all of it. The waitress was very precise and overall pleasant. I will return for another review in due time!

Had a great time here, but I've been here several times before, the burgers are the best. If I could just say one thing they need to have the beer prices on the beer menu. There are some beers there that I'm not familiar with and I wanted to try. I was burned there once before when it turned out an 8 oz beer was $20. Every time we asked about beer pricing they had to go back and ask the bartender. How efficient is that? Do they just expect you to ask every time... or, "if you have to ask you probably can't afford it"? Just put the beer prices on the menu please.
