We walk out of here absolutely stuffed each time. There's no holding back... you come here to indulge! Lots of fun neon including a metal, sculpted neon palm tree sitting in the middle of the dining room. Their drinks are delicious but their food is off the chain. The fried chicharrones are heavenly delicious! Great place to take your family or out to dinner with friends. I recommend the fried pork chop or the Mangu de Golpes.

Small restaurant but packed with bold caribbean flavors. Great place to try speciality meal favorites or just explore something new. Good set of appetizers, great menu with lots of options. A surprise they have for everyone dining in is a small bowl of soup. Different soup flavors everytime I've been here and never disappointed. No desserts available but they do have "frappe" for someone with the "sweet tooth" (they are pretty much frozen drinks or better known as smoothies.

I've tried steak, fried pork with mofongo (mashed plantains). Tostones (double fried plantains) are pretty good and even tasted mangú (boiled plantains with seasoning) too. These are all plantains based compliments but each have it's uniqueness. Accessible prices and they do have lunch specials. Stop by and try it out.

Went in the other day and was informed that they lost their liquor license so they could not serve alcohol which was fine. We still ordered one of their fun drinks still assuming that without the alcohol being added that they wouldn’t be charging full price. I don’t usually leave reviews but this food was sooo good. I went with my roommate and I got the mofongo con pollo and he had pinchos de pollo and we both said it was fire. I was thinking, I don’t remember the last time I went out to eat and I was still thinking about the food hours later. Wish they mentioned there was pork in their mofongo cause I don’t eat pork but I still ate it cause I don’t like to waste food. Only giving two stars because I’ve been here once before on a spontaneous date with my partner and I genuinely felt like it was a nice spot at the time. However I went in yesterday with my partner and his siblings and even had the same server from our last visit, and I felt as though she was completely disregarding us the whole time. There were a total of two tables in the restaurant sat, US included. And she only came to our table twice. Once to ask for the food order, and once to drop off the food. She didn’t once ask us if we wanted a refill on our water, which we did. And as we waited patiently for the check once we were all done, she was just standing behind us on her phone by the kitchen, which isn’t that far from us so we got a clear view of her just standing there as we waited to be greeted again. My partner had to go up and ask for the bill as he went to use the bathroom. As someone who works in the restaurant business, I don’t want this to result in her termination but I do want her to do better moving forward. When we paid we put two cards down and she only charged one? And in the end we saw automatic gratuity which kinda made us all realize why exactly she didn’t seem to care much. Overall a really bumming experience and I probably won’t go back for a while. Food is really really good tho, it’s up to you if you wanna gamble that. :)

Went in on a Saturday mid day, vibes were good , music playing in the background was relaxing, waiters were friendly , i got the mofongo it was a big serving that i couldnt finish, i had patacones for appetizers and it was very delicious and the mayo ketchup sauce was tangy but delicious. Loved everything about McCoco’s!

Our server Massy was so kind and attentive—truly made the experience even better. I had the McCoco’s Peppered Steak and it was perfect. We started with the tostones and they were crispy and delicious.

The tropical vibes, fun neon lights, and signature cocktails made the whole place feel like a little escape. I was so excited to dive in, I didn’t even get a picture—that’s how good it was!

Started off with being seated at a table in which the chairs were not wiped off. Then, we get our water glasses and one of them is very obviously dirty. We only received one set of silverware so I grabbed one from the table next to us.

The food was nothing special, and I never received my soda that I ordered and they tried to charge us for it at the end.

All in all, the service and food were subpar. I will not be returning, nor could I recommend this place to others. The only thing that was cool was the decor.

Hello I really want to put a heads up for all that think this is such a great restaurant. My husband and I went to have a lunch because it was advertised all over the place they had 8.99 lunch Tuesday thru Friday 11-2pm. We ate there and when they brought the bill it was 60.52 we had 2 plates from the $8.99 menu no alcoholic drinks and a side of ripe. Plantains and side of fried pork belly,.This is what I call highway roberry and false advertising. The waitress said prices were changed awhile back but all the 50+ menus said 8.99 menu even a waitress had on a tshirt with 8.99! lunch special written on it. We were charged a gratuity for 2 people (lunch) No manager on site. Undignified we paid the bill but will never, ever go there again.or recconend this place to any one. Please check carefully your receipts, they add and manipulate $ at there convenience.

Me and my friend were really excited to try this place out, but left disappointed. It’s really upsetting that we had to chase the waitresses down to give us a menu. Once we got the menu, we were waiting to be served for over an hour. The people that came after us got served before we did. I had to remind the waitress that we were still waiting to be served twice. Once they finally did take our order, they brought it out with cheese after I told them that I have a dairy allergy and can’t eat cheese, so I had to wait again for them to bring one out without cheese. The waitresses also looked at me and my friend like we were an inconvenience whenever I reminded them that we were still there and wanted to be served. Drinks were good but a bit overpriced.

I was so excited to visit this place!! Love the atmosphere, the patio, the cuisine and the music.But, we were ignored when asking to be seated, once we were ,it took 15 min to get a menu and we got 1! When the waitress finally returned we were ready- ordered drinks,2 appetizers and meals immediately. Took another 20 min to get a drink, then an hour more for our meal- umm wheres our appetizers? Went in twice to inquire & requested another drink, as no one returned even 1x to check on us. As we finished our meal we finally got 1 appetizer.Asked for the bill and our second appetizer ( plantains)yet again….after our 2 hr visit $100 bill( for 2 for lunch) as they added their own gratuity and brought that last appetizer in a bag to go- like get out! Drink was average and I expected at least a cherry in my pina colada for $12 each.Food was good but not worth the wait! It wasnt that busy (several empty tables and counted less than 25 patrons in and out)2 hrs-we were very patient. Not 1 apology or thank you from them. I will spend my $ elsewhere.

The food is absolutely delicious. I’ve been on the hunt for the best Caribbean since moving here from Chicago and this place is definitely it! My first time trying Mangu Tres Golpes did not disappoint! I will say they should trying a different frying cheese cause the one I was served got cold fast and a a rubbery texture so I didn’t eat it. But everything else was amazing. I also had carne frita with tostones, my son had arroz con gandules and chicken which he loved and said the rice tastes like how his grandma makes it. My other son had the McCoco Burger and my Partner had the bistec with tostones and we all loved everything about it. Can’t wait to come back and dine in with my family.

Yesterday was my birthday and myself and 2 others came to celebrate. When we walked in we had to seat ourselves at a table our waiter told us to sit at which was table 3. When arriving at this table the saucers were dirty and under our table was full of smashed fruit. For some reason everything I ordered my server suggested to me they didn't have it (which I went up to the bar and pointed out my beverage which they were saying they didn't have. When I ordered I ordered the steak (also told they did not have the listened to another table order pepersteak and they were not told the same thing) I've been to this place a few times but yesterday their service was not good and I spent $200 in this place and the service was unacceptable

McCoco’s left me already planning my next visit. I stopped by for a quick drink and appetizer and was very satisfied. I had the mojito and the tostones—both were a perfect 10/10.

The mojito? Hands down the best I’ve ever had—so fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The tostones were the perfect snack to go with it, crisp and filling, and I often complain about the oil to chip ratio but I enjoyed this one, it was balanced.

I immediately texted my girls group chat to start planning a ladies’ night. Can’t wait to come back and try more!

I came in to place an order. I waited an hour for my food. It took me 15 minutes to have somebody acknowledge me to take my order. The food was not good. They gave me the wrong food. I did not go back to complain because it took me an hour to get my food in the first place. Customer service was not good at all if you were not part of the mafia crew that owned the place or that came in you got little to no service. It's one of my craving nights and wanted a different food or cuisine to try around where we live. And since I've been seeing this restaurant over at tiktok , I gotta have to try the food and see it for myself.

Best tacos I've had in a log time with delicious sides. My wife loved her empinadas. Our waitress Massy was very nice to us and made sure our food and drinks were to our liking. Highly recommend this restaurant.

A BOGO meal?! Uh, yes, please! I tried through DoorDash and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious food. I got the Empanada Colombianas De Pollo O Carne. So good! I liked the chicken the best. And the dipping sauce was amazing. For meals, I got the arroz con gandeles platter. You can pick a free meal, so I chose the Bandera pepper steak. Both were delicious!!

We visited on a Saturday, and it was quite busy! Despite the crowd, our waiter Massy (who is also the owner) was incredibly polite and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the evening. Even when extra friends and family joined our group, they were so accommodating and kind!

The service was okay.Food was mediocre. Drinks were good but no alcohol in them. Took a long time to get drinks because they spend too much time adding candy and fancy stuff instead of just making a good drink. The meat in our dishes was extremely dry. The atmosphere is cool and it's a chill place but it's a one and done for me!

I got all that food (pictured) for $32. I'm no connoisseur of Caribbean cuisine, but everything I ordered was tremendo. Some pork and rice (gandules?) and chicken and rice and mafongo and meat cubes and pinto beans. ¡Que rico! Wish I could have dined in. The vibe was cool.

Absolutely the worst service ever. And they put an automatic gratuity on the bill with only 2 people at a table and nothing stated on signs or menu that they do this. The food was very good, which is the only reason for the stars
